    You can join UK dirt pay your JOLT fees and not actually race in any f the heat leagues.

  6. I am running 321, not my UK dirt F1 number but as grant has not submitted a skin (I think it should not be a problem) If he has MOR can you just stick mine in a skins folder for 321 or I can submit a skin with my proper F1 number

  10. Thanks for the quick reply Freeweb. I see your point about SB we are all here to race at the end of the day and taking away from that on a track that changes everyweek anyway would be odd and probably ultimatly pointless. I still think a few wet tracks would be nice although I do appreciate the way of doing it at the moment if far far from ideal. Again thanks for the reply, it is nice to have mod teams acually listen to the people who are racing there stuff
  11. Go to your game directory and run the configure rfactor exe. Set the resolution and the refessh rate the lowest. If that works you will then need to just play about to find out what your monitor can handle.
  12. Ipswich Having been there more than most tracks in the UK it seems close to what I remember. As has been said before the kerbs feel a bit high to me but it actually works to stop people getting dragged into the tyres. I always thought the heat tracks were to wide and to me this version feel about spot on, the only real gripe I have it that there is a gap between the pit gate and the fence and if you happen to just clip this it can just turn the car right. Ipswich Dirt Thought I would hate it as it is fake, but is actually probably my favourite so far, so much fun it is unreal. Sexberium Completely different experience to ippy, wide open space and you can really chuck the car around. Like the pit area and the layout of the track, it is possible to make the grass have less grip as at the moment running onto it does not seem to have to much of a penalty. I really like the way that the skid marks stay on the shale tracks. General questions Are we going to get a wet version of Ipswich as this seems possible in RF Both shale tracks seem very flat, is it possible to have some bumps, these do appear to be implemented on the inside grass at Sexberium Please don't take these the wrong way as I love what you have done so far

Well after spending far to long playing this over the last week here goes Physics Very good, the shale cars are quickest when they are in a controlled slide and the set-up options give you the options to change it to suit your driving style. The Tarmac cars are also very close to what I would expect I actually have the opposite problems to what most people have posted, I keep locking the inside front and once the tyres are up to temp it wants to slide the back not the front. Both cars work well with Real Feel and when you get the weight in the right place you can really tell. The setup ranges seem to be good you can adjust the car to your style without there being an endless chance to tweak and tweak. The only criticism I have is that the Tarmac car seems to use its tyres very hard, even when it is not sliding. Models Again seem to be very good, cockpits are done well, and the external models are very very good. Two suggestions here thought 1.) I like the fact that the wireframe from Max is in the template but it is possible to put this in a layer on its own as it would make it much easier to use. 2.) The tyres look like they are running just below the Tarmac, this is caused by the size in the .TBC and the model size being different not really a problem just something I noticed in the pics. Collision detection Again seems to work well, you can just run someone on without having to wreck them and as long as people have the correct attitude it produces some really good racing. You can still end up on your side if you get hit hard enough but no more flying as in heat Good job guys cannot wait to try some more chassis

  17. What happens if you try and load a std RF car like the RHEZ. It is failing to load a file correctly. Do you have another GFX card you can try as I have seen this before when a GFX car goes TU

  19. Have you reinstalled it. If so go to the directory it is installed in and create a shortcut from there. To find out if the BRISCA mod has installed then go to your rFactor directory, then GameData\Vehicles and there should be a folder called F1 Stockcars IIRC
  20. you're only allowed to race online with cars that you 'own' so buy a car for each surface in the offline section ('customize - car selection') ........ any cars you've bought are listed for use in the online section. To confirm, go to the customize-car selection bt and click the 'show owned' button underneath the car lists Alternatively go into a private test session, do NOT go on track in the chat box type ISI_BABYFACTORY then exit. You will now own every car and every upgrade.
  21. Is your std rFactor install still working ok. Have you installed other rf mods before.
  22. Its an RF issue. After you cross the line stop, do not pull into the pits. Since the xsectors are so close, once you cross xsector1, it counts it as your doing another lap. I know the AIW can be a bit funny when the sectors are so close. Thanks for the explanation just pit is easier I guess
  23. Does it show up in the main list. Try sorting by race series if you are not 100% what it is called
  24. Talking of track problesm, on the the shale version of Ippy(Not tried the others) if you escape during qualifying it adds another lap so if they are restricted you get a DQ.
