  1. I have to agree with Mav on the driving standard at the end of the year, its getting quite bad! even the top drivers are letting themselfs down from time to time, last night in one race a top driver passed me then right turned me round the bend so i couldnt come back at him! i feel i race these as i would my real f2 (im not saying i no it all as i have a real one) but if someone laps me i just let them go, not go wide or stick it in there and hit them back when they go past as if its not what you do in real life then i wont do it here as you wont get a punch in the face on here, if someone hots me hard, hit them hard back but fair, not missing the bend going into the side and giveing them damage, catch them up then wack em! yes it is a game, but we all put alot of time into it with setups skins etc! the atleast we can do is respect the people we race with and race fair while we put our monday nights aside for what we love! Simon
  2. massive well done to Nez! deserved win as he never has any luck! Bad night for me really heats went average in final in decided to slow it down as the race was manic! didn't really help much lol as had 11th lol in shoot-out was away got up to about 5th early on but got spun into infield (bit gutted), well done to 954 on 24 points as it brings my lead down to 16 points in the NOY with one meeting to go! cya next week Simon
  3. This week sees the mighty f2s head to Northampton fir the central league semi-finals! First of all let’s have a look at the star graders, leading the entry for the star graders will be 2011 World Champion #112 TomD! i don’t think has Tom has missed a meeting in 2011, which has given him a fantastic advantage in his hunt for the silver roof! also set to be present will the 2011 Whites and Yellows champion #31 Simon after winning the title last week, Simon has recently been upgraded to the star grade and looked to off struggled a bit last week, but can this week be the week where he scores big from the rear of the field? #236 DanSkin aims to make the long trip down from his native Newcastle, the current British champion will be aiming to score big here and get a good place on the final grid for the Central league final! #560 Dodge and #115 green both aim to be present at their local track! Looking at the Blue graders now, we have some great drivers with great pace! #365 Trav will be present and I’m sure he will be bringing his spare bumpers with him! #221 Spike is planning to be here, the 2010 English Open champion hasn’t had the best of seasons, but can surprise a few and may take the honours around here! Newly blue graded is #220 Doug, in his first season racing f2s Doug has had a steady year but can turn on the power when needed! #774 Leech and #641 Mav have also shown interest here to be present On to the lower graders now we have #954 SamWhit leading the lower graders, Sam is going for the Novice of the year title with #31 Simon, he’s only 30 points behind with 2 meetings to go, can we see him make up more ground? #718 Martyn will be in action after his best finish yet a 3rd in the Consolation last meeting, he will be looking to bag his first points here! #760 Ryano plans to be action, after a 3rd in last week whites and yellows final, he has shown he has the pace when needed! We all hope to see you there! UKDIRT ADMIN
  4. Ta for meeting Dave and Drumb for being steward! Chuffed with W+Y win, rest of meeting was poor for me but thats racing i suppose! cya at NIR nxt week!
  5. This week is the World of Shale Final! Leading the entry will be front row starter #112 TomD, the current world champion will be looking to add another title to his belt, the current World Champion has got what it takes on shale and tarmac so i wouldn’t bet against him on taking another title! Can #41 Drumbstick go a place better in this race and take a win? He has had 2nds in almost every championship this year, but if his luck changes he will be taking home this one! #236 Danskin is right behind the leaders and he’s also won the British and English Open on shale this year! In form man #115 Green will be yet again present, another driver who has great race pace and can set rapid lap times but seems to not make the cut in big races, can we see this change and for him to win his first f2 championship in ukdirt f2s? #87 Robin is looking like he wont be present, the 2010 winner and current points champion hasn’t made many appearances this year due to other commitments, can he shock us all and turn up to defend it? Further back the grid we have #31 Simon, #954 Samwhit who are both going for the Novice Of The Year title, Simon holds a 59 point lead over Sam at the minute, but he won’t be present as he’s going to be on holiday, so i wouldn’t bet against Sam bagging in some points to make the chase closer! #46 Nezza is back there, but i believe he is the current kings lynn track champion so i would imagine he will aiming for a top 5 finish! Meeting Format! WOS Heat 1 Heat 2 Heat 3 (if needed) Final Shootout 2011 GRID 112 - 41 236 - 151 39 - 115 641 - 277 221 - 131 87 - 188 315 - 172 380 - 365 756 - 256 164 - 318 560 - 31 46 - 954 NEXT 10 RESERVES: 912, 155, 632, 760, 550, 18, 249, 921, 774, 233 PAST WINNERS Rfactor 2010 Robin #87 2009 TomD #112 Heat 2009 Kendo #912 2008 Tosh #874 2007 Aub #881 2006 Prydie #9 2005 Prydie #9 2004 Michael #567 2003 Michael #567
  6. i enjoyed the meeting, only thing for me is i think im driving nothing like i would in real life, i think because the blues are really rough i feel i have to be real rough back to get anywere lol! missing next week as on holiday so ill see you the week after! WD Spiro! Simon
  7. This week sees the f2s back to Hednesford for the first time since the world semis back in August! Leading the entry will be #164 Tosh the current European champion aims to be present from his Scottish base to gain more national points as he’s dropped in the points lately as he’s had a little break from racing! World Champion #112 TomD will be present yet again to seal his National Points championship he is trying to win, which he looks likely to take with only a few meetings left this season and he hold a 174 point over 2nd place #41 Drumbstick! Last week’s final winner and top scorer #131 Gary aims to be present along with his brother #774 Leech, both have won finals this year, and shoe some great pace, can they team up and bring home the silverware here? The Novice of the year title is still very close with only 33 points between the top 2! #31 Simon is still in the lead with #954 in a very close 2nd! Simon has had the better of Samwhit in recent weeks with outscoring him but his fellow blue graders have had other ideas in making it easy for him! This is looking like its going to go down to the wire! Also it is a Central league round with the points table looking like this for the top 24 1 41 Drumbstick 233 2 112 Tom D 203 3 236 DanSkin 152 4 115 michael green 139 5 46 Nezza 113 6 151 dode 109 7 277 southy 101 8 31 Si 95 9 129 scootaah 91 10 164 Tosh 88 11 641 Mav 71 12 256 Hooty 68 13 188 Aub 66 14 774 Leech 65 15 488 Dave 61 16 39 LeeK 59 17 954 Samwit 57 18 760 Ryano 55 19 560 Dodge 55 20 315 Mike 51 21 165 jedd 48 22 122 craigcharles 45 23 921 Spiroo 45 24 313 Budge 44 As you can see its all to race for! BOOK IN NOW! UKDIRT ADMIN
  8. Well done Gary on the final win, it was only a matter of time before it happend as you was to fast for the yellow roof! to me you was always a fast blue! not a bad night for me, heats went well with a 4th and a 2nd, bit dissapointed in the the final really as the blues were having some fair racing and very close and i passed everyone clean, for Mav to spin me out of 2nd place when we was both well away lol, apology accetped Mav, but i hope you take it on the chin like i have when i get my revenge lol, GN was similar with Tosh taking me out from 6th i think, which put a bit of a spoiler on my night but happy with the 16 points anyway! cya next week at hendo! Simon

    Coventry

This week sees the F2s head to Coventry! at the premier shale track! Leading the entry will be World champion and the recently crowned Grand National Champion #112 TomD all season this man has been on the top of his game but had some bad luck in championship races mid-season but has bounced back with winning the World,Irish, Grand National Championship and also looks set to take the silver roof this season with a massive lead to #41 Drumbstick! Drumb has had an average season for his standards he is without a doubt one of the quickest man on our ovals but missed the luck in all the big races finishing most of them in 2nd place apart from the Scottish he won earlier in the year! Also in from man #236 Danskin hopes to be in attendance the 2011 British Champion has shown he is a massive threat to the big 2 in the league, and you wouldn’t bet against him on bagging a lot of silverware next season! Another man who makes it clear he loves the loose stuff is #277 Southy! Southy is another driver who can set fast lap times on the tarmac and shale but luck never seems to go his way on the tarmac so he will be looking to score big at this one! #365 Trav hopes to be in attendance (well if i stick him in this he normally turns up!) he had another fantastic meeting at Cowdie last week, and is looking to gain that red roof back at what he held at the start of the season! The novice of the year is still going ahead strong with #31 Simon starting to pull away from #954 Samwhit who seems to be struggling off the blue grade at the moment but never the less, he has won races on the loose stuff so i predict he will close the gap on the lead here! The only way to witness it all is to book in! UKDIRT ADMIN!
  10. i enjoyed last night, had good heats got fenced in final and put into a parked car in the gn so not the best of nights for me really but enjoyed the racing! the racewall in real life is known to be a hard track to master and is known for damage so isnt it the same here? i feel here you have to work hard for your places and even if uve done enough to be at the front its not always enough as someone has also crashed and you have to avoid them, it would be a shame to drop it out of the fixtures for next year just as people are not keen on it, i agree with Toshes post, this track you need to put your thinking head on, the people moaning about it in my honest opinion must of new this track was known for hard racing and alot of crashing and it was disscused before the metting in the preview! and thats what we got lol any way i enjoyed it, hope to race here again soon! Simon
  11. This Monday sees the elite formula the mighty F2s host the 2011 Grand National Championship at the popular Racewall! Last year’s winner #188 Aub hopes to be present but it all depends if his car has come back from a freshen up at Randall Motorsport! One of the favourites for this year’s GN title has to be #236 DanSkin, Dan has taken most of the smaller championships this season but can also win big as he showed at the British earlier in the season to take the first major of the 2011 season! #112 TomD wont be letting Dan get away as the current world champion sits inside on the front row with #41 Drumstick on the outside which will show a tough wall for Dan to break to get to the front! Other interest shows last weeks final winner #115 Green on the outside row 3, Green is without a doubt one of the fastest man on our raceways can we see him take his first championship? Further back the field we have #641 Mav who has shown to be well on the pace in recent weeks and took the return to blue grade very well and has been the man from that grade in recent weeks! #560 Dodge hopes to make a big impact in this meeting, with very fast laptimes could he hold out for this one? The novice of the year is still away with lead changing again with #31 Simon taking the lead off #954 Samwhit with an impressive 34 points at Birmingham last Monday, which gives him a 17 point lead over Sam, as we have seen all season this is a long way from being over, and the lead could very well change at this meeting again! Lower graders #921 Spiro, #220 Dougieford, #165 Jedd and #199 Waqar all hope to be present with Spro stamping his name in f2s in recent weeks and almost taking the final last Monday after leading until the last lap! GRID 112 - 41 236 - 151 39 - 115 277 - 46 641 - 31 560 - 315 221 - 632 954 - 164 87 - 188 760 - 131 774- 488 365 - 155 Reserves: 256, 531, 380, 495, 165, 318, 550, 122, 249, 313, 921, 33, 18, 912, 172, 30, 199, 220, 599, 351 Former Winners! HEAT WINNERS 2002 - Trash #512 2003 - AndyH #148 2004 - Michael #567 2005 - Corny #391 2006 - BigMaus #24 2007 - Prydie #9 2008 - DaveyBoy #380 2009 - LeeK #39 RFACTOR WINNERS 2009 - Tosh #164 2010 - Aub #188 We hope see you there as its set to be a epic meeting! UKDIRT ADMIN!
  12. Well done to Green for winning the final on a brill last bend, unlucky Spiro! and budge for top socring, nice to see you back! For myself had a good night considering the crap start i had! was glad to have 2nd in the final as dont think ill be any good at red yet! Bit of a moan from me at a drivers comments at the end of the meeting, calling me a cheat? saying i jumped 2 starts in a row? even tho i didnt start pole in the final and in the GN me and the outside driver just got away at the same time but i avoided the hits on the first bend and pulled away! maybe if you drove with your head and not your bumper you 2 could get some places instead of labbleing other drivers a cheat as they have beaten you! and you say maybe i wanna win the NOY a bit 2 bad? yes i would like to win it, but if i dont i dont, its not the main thing in my life! the real car is and getting back to as fit as i used to be! me and SamWhit get on fine and have good races and i even send him my setups if he asks! maybe think about your driving style instead of sticking the label on people! cya next week Simon "The Cheat" Bassett
  13. i booked in gary but im not on site? can u stick me on please
  14. This week sees the mighty F2s make a trip to the midlands to Birmingham Wheels Raceway for a Central Series round! Leading the entry will be the newly crowned F2 World Champion #112 TomD, Tom is the man of f2s this year, with wining the World, Irish and also set to take the National Points title as well! but hot on his heels will be British, TT, and newly crowned English open champion #236 DanSkin! Dan is the inform man at the moment with being the most dominative driver in recent weeks and many would have thought he would of taken the Gold but work ties prevented him from doing so! Also inform racers last years World Champion #41 Drumbstick, #39 Leek will be in attendance, with Leek wining the Golden Helmet and Drumbstick the Scottish, but in every championship race he has been 2nd! so will be looking to improve on this from his new S/S Grade! #115 Green hopes to be in attendance with the well used RCE chassis! can we see him bag another final win? i wouldn't bet against it! Another driver who is setting some fantastic lap times is #774 Leech, and hes also won a final here this season so i think he could be one to watch from the red grade! The Novice of the year title is well away with 2 drivers really going for it, #954 Samwhit leads the way and has shown some great pace and been out scoring his fellow rival lately and with result of this has moved to the Blue grade! #31 Simon is hot on his heels but has dipped in form lately which he has lost the lead in the championship! Get yourselves booked in for some great bumper bashing family fun!
  15. Hi lads, got a little problem when i go to race at midenhall or even test the track starts to load then just exits the whole game, i had this with ippy with the loons a while back Any ideas? Simon
  16. This week sees the mighty f2s continue there Dutch tour for the euromaster at Tar Apel, The track is known for its very long straghts and very tricky tight corners making race pace hard to find! Leading the entry will be current world champion #1 Drumbstick, with the world final only a week away this could be the final meeting where he holds the gold roof, we will see an all out performace from this man? In form man #236 DanSkin will also be present after another final win last week at Lelystad, Dan is without a doubt the inform man in our league, not always having the best laptimes but seems to be able to keep his cool under the pressure where most fall! Real life racers # 115 Green and #31 Simon both aim to be in action, with green looking to add a championship under his belt with some great pace shown this year, it must be only a matter of time? Yellow graders #954 SamWhit and #760 Ryano aim to be present, with SamWhit taking the lead back in the novice of the year championship after an impressive 24 points at Lelystad aims to incrase his lead! After his recent upgrading to blue #921 Spiro aims to be in action, but is struggling to find the pace needed so may be relying on his well known bumper skills! After a few weeks out #188 Aub hopes to be present along with freind #365 Trav, #199 Warqar, #151 Dode, #249 Jack all set to be in action after there performance last week! Stay In School Kids UkDirt Sorry its short and no poster but ive not had alot of time this week!
  17. This week sees the f2 tribe go overseas to Holland, with the recent fixture change we are off to LELYSTAD! With recent overseas success #39 Leek leads the entry with his recent Golden Helmet win! Leek has had a good season and maintaining a 20 point average, he very often has the speed and race craft so I wouldn’t bet against him to be up there with the high scorers! Following his final win at Arena Essex current British Champion and TT Champion #236 DanSkin also hopes to be in attendance, along with current World Champion #1 Drumbstick! DanSkin and Drumbstick have both had fantastic pace all year , both with fantastic averages and on the 1st 2 rows of the world final I think we could see the bumpers going in! #112 TomD is planning on making the trip over with friend #165 Jedd, TomD has a fantastic 35 point average with winning 17 races this year which 5 have been finals, he has a massive 166 points lead on 2nd place in the national points so looks to be taking the silver roof this year if he keep his staggering form up, along with his Irish Championship he has already won this year! And with Jedd just coming back from a ban also has shown some fantastic pace this year but luck isn’t always on Jedds side! The Novice of the year is as close has ever with just 15 points separating the top 3! #31 Simon leads the way but only has a 1 point lead over #954 SamWhit and then #760 Ryano still holds 3rd, with SamWhit and Ryano off yellow and been showing some good pace of lately, can they pull the lead back? Following a fantastic debut at the TT, #30 Peppi hopes to be in attendance along with #560 Dodge and #115 Green! After a few meetings off #365 Trav hopes to be present and the English Open Champion #221 Spike hopes to make the trip after a recent down grading to yellow! Be There or Be Sqaure!
  18. This week sees the f2 train go to Arena Essex Leading the entry will be the Irish champion and current national points leader # 112 TomD, who has shown fantastic pace all year and even better race craft, but not letting him get away will be the current world champion #1 Drumbstick who is also in fantastic form at the moment! Also on the grid will be the newly crowned TT champion #236 Danskin, the current British Champion and world semi-final winner has shown he is at the top of his game and will be one to watch out for! Lower graders #220 Dougieford and #921 Spiro both aim to be action, with them both getting there first wins in recent weeks and Spiro getting a massive 74 points from 2 meetings last week can they be caught from the front of the pack? The Novice of the year campaign is well on the way with the meetings counting down, with just 12 points seprating the top 3! #954 Samwhit still leads the way, but close on his heels are #31 Simon only 4 behind and #760 Ryano 12! its anyone’s game at the moment! so they all plan to be in action! Green 115 and Leek 39 all set to be in action, Scottish drivers Dode #151 and Tosh #164 plan on making the long trip down to be present! After an impressive debut at Onchan #30 Peppi aims to be present from Germany, Dodge# 560, Nezza #46 both aim to be present from the star grade, along with current inform yellow grader #641 Mav Get yourselves booked in!
