do you not think that the hits get more and more desperate the bigger the grid gets then? it seems that way to me Dave
-
think all in is getting stupid to be honest. really good meeting until racing 24 cars round tracks like this. It just turns into a desperate bumper fest and Buxton is a big hitters track..... and yes I do end up doing it as well because everyone gets sucked into it. rubbish end to a good meeting. racecraft goes out the window

i run the pad in and axel on -8. I had a practise with all the axel settings and personally just prefer the - setting to the others.

damn it just posted in another thread asking what wheel you have Allan....then saw this thread lol. I used to run a sidewinder. Real feel was a bit strange on it. I think someone told me once that the sidewinder doesn't quite deliver true force feedback, so thats why it doesnt quite feel right. The settings I have posted further up this thread are for a Logitech Driving Force GT..basically a poor mans G25 lol. I bought mine brand new from Argos for about £80 and find it a much better experience than the sidewinder. If you have the money though, definitely buy a G25 or G27.

welcome back Allan will be good to see you again mate. I am sure a few people will help you out with setties if your struggling, although I personally think RF is more about how you drive it than having a brilliant set up. Also are you using a steering wheel? and if so which one?

nice one lew. I was too busy to race last night, so good to watch the race. looked good

its all about personal taste really, but i run the axel lead at -8mm (although I think a lot of drivers run parallel?) I run the brakes at 96% though, as I find that the front brakes lock up too easily otherwise which will slow you down no end. best advice is to run some laps on the various settings and go with what feels best.

Sportsmanship - Si31 - for saying sorry to me straight after the race for hitting a post and wiping me out of the final (after publicly messaging that he thought i had my mojo back lol...kiss of death) Driving skill - Jakie jnr 305 - had a great gn with him and generally thought he went well for first time from red Riding the hits - Lew 495 - i seem to recall giving him a few in ht 2 and he held them really well Overall driver of the day - SpikeJnr - good consistent results all night -

Nezza 299c please -
thought it was aweful tonight to be honest. I mm'd and rr'd whether to race with the way this track is and now wish I hadn't lol. don't think a single person passed me without stuffing me straight into the fly paper. no racecraft, just straight in. I left the meeting half way through the final. wd Tom on the win though. was well deserved mate.

any chance we can race on the old version of Cowdie at all? The new version is crap with the sticky walls and ruined the last meeting I thought.

can I book in provisionally please? my little 'un isn't very well, so if she kicks off tonight I won't be able to race
-
do you have a link to download the track please? it isnt on the ukdirt site, and I don't have a copy of it. Thanks, Nez

really enjoyed it. cracking racing all night which surprised me with all the tyres to be honest. wd to all race winners and to Dan on taking the TT. move of the night had to go to me though on Pep when I dumped him Wainman styley into a parked car. I know Dode loved it lol and well done to Pep for taking it in the right spirit I am sure my number is well and truelly welded to his dash now though lol.
