enjoyed tonight and started to feel like I was getting to grips with the new steering wheel. my final luck is the same as yours I think Drumb, I always seem to get spun out early on in the race for some reason. cant remember the last time I had a good final race. WD Craig on the final win.

quite happy to have scored 7 round a track i normally score 0 on lol. This is officially my most hated track, but needed the practice in bedding this new steering wheel in to be honest. Its feeling very alien at the moment, but I remember the DFGT feeling the same to begin with. I'm not sure if I have the force feedback set up strong enough at the moment, as I didn't seem to feel any contact when hit from the back which I used to with the last wheel. This made me spin out too easily as I hadn't reacted in time to save it. Any tips on this from any G27 owners, or is it just a case of turning the F/F up a bit? (I don't run it at -100% as I find it way too much)

found tonight very weird indeed from some red top drivers!! ht 4 after being spun and playing catch up, I suddenly found myself with a driver who seemed to want to bumper every bend for 12th place!! this then put me in the consi, and then a driver wanted to play bumpers for 5th when only the top 4 go through! didnt quite understand the thought process there lol. not my night, on a track i normally love

Hutch, I had a lot more money than I originally expected for my birthday, so have decided to buy a brand new G27. Thanks for all your help mate, but I think given the choice I would rather have the security of it being brand new and having warranty.

Hi all, after a year and a half of use my trusted Logitech DFGT has decided to stop working, so I can't race until I get a new wheel just wondered if anyone has or knows anyone that has a G25 or G27 for sale at all, as I've decided to upgrade to one of these rather than buy another DFGT as I understand they are a bit more reliable and generally a better wheel. I am watching the usual ebay ones, but would rather buy one off of someone i know if possible as its a bit of a lottery on there. its my birthday tomorrow and I've asked everyone to give me cash, so at the moment I am not sure how much i have to spend. If I don't get enough then I will have to save up a bit, so may end up not racing till the new season anyway let me know if you have one for sale please. Thanks, Nez

Here's my steering wheel settings for this wheel mate. Its personal choice how you set it up, but this made it feel much better for me. Drumbstick gave me these settings so they should be pretty good. I would also recommend downloading real feel plugin. wheel_settings.zip

I have the wheel that Leech has given you a link to and would highly recommend it. great value for money and its brand new, so any probs then Argos will generally replace it straight away. If you dont want to pay that much then I would look on ebay for one of them second hand. In my opinion it will be a better buy than the one that you have found Andy

wd Danskin fairhurst. cant argue with that drive mate. rough old night for me, some very hard racing. felt very sorry for Dave and Drumb who were clearly very peeved with the usual meeting spoilers. After all the hard work they've put in you would think that some people would be a bit more respectful. I reckon the disciplinary proceedure should be toughened up personally. drop the suspended sentence rubbish from now on and go straight for bans. If that dont work then introduce a fine of a few quid for every ban, with the ban only being lifted after the time has expired and they have paid the fine via paypal. might lose a few drivers in the long run, but i would rather race against 20 respectful drivers every week than a field of 30+ with a handful of idiots that ruin it for others. Perhaps the fine money should be paid to admin for all their work?

thanks Guys. No need to use up admins time though, as I have reviewed them all and nothing illegal there. some hard hits, but nothing dodgy. Some numbers on the dash for the future though lol

Hi admin, can you post the replays up for the WF, heat 2 and the consi please, as I would like to review them. feels like ive been followed in on all 3 races and want to see if thats the case. the way this is heading tonight, i may be back asking for the GN as well lol

14.0 is the best i can get. think it will be more about avoiding the tyres and the carnage from the people that have hit them though.

wd mav on the final win. Usual shale meeting for me, as in I'm rubbish lol. Just cant seem to get going on it for some reason and never seem to score more 10 on any shale track. Hit loads of crashes as well and generally went backwards. bring on the tar next week. (although the spot of praccy I did afterwards tells me it may be a bit roundy roundy cant catch anyone) we shall see.

Hi matty. I run a 9800gt and had similar stuttering issues as you are getting. the following settings have cured mine completely so give them a go. in Nvidea control panel, turn everything to default then just adjust the triple buffering to off and Vsync to force off. give your pc a damn good hoover as well, as mine can go stuttery if i dont hoover it about once a month. turning the car detail down for yourself and opponent made a massive difference for me.

who yanked your chains Aub and Hooty lol? I was merely stating that I feel that the racing gets more desperate the bigger the grids. My final was a good race tbh, hard at times but a good race. The GN was aweful though, and just felt desperate from the start with all racecraft going out the window. I personally have noticed that this happens a lot when we go all in with 24 car grids, and is not quite so enjoyable for me. Maybe other drivers enjoy this? I don't know? I wish everyone would race like the Kitson onboard, as thats the type of racing I expect from F2's. If I wanted anything more I would race bangers on a Tuesday. To be honest it was a good meeting until the GN. P.S. thanks for opening this back up, as thats what a forum is for. Cant beleive people started openly slagging each other off, as that was not what my original post was meant to start.
