I know that I have been known for this before but this is me retiring but it’s totally different this time. Since Friday a lot has changed. Recently, up until a few weeks ago I haven’t been racing regularly this was due to a temporary role at work that I was taking on as someone at a management level as left. I have now, today been offered to be the replacement for the IT manager. Frankly it is a job that I certainly can’t turn down - mainly due to the salary increase! The longer hours will mean I’ll be unable to race. I have a lot of tasks and projects plus major courses to attend. On top of that I have a house move coming and that needs a lot of renovation work which obviously will take masses of time. The admin teams here know that I have had job changes which have all been leading to this and that is why I had to leave admin duties last year. I’m glad I’m retiring on good terms and on form which is why this has been a hard decision. What I can’t think of a better time to retire. My PC and G27 has been sold too this afternoon. Trust me I had near last minute change of mind when the guy was handing the cash over! Done this before but thanks to everyone that I have raced against over the years and everyone that has helped me with setups, advise etc… I am going to miss the racing but careers have to come first, especially the ones which you have been working to. Should work commitments reduce and I have more time on my hands then I’ll certainly be back. I can always replace a wheel…This season has been some of the best racing and hope it continues for you all. I have met some good guys at the track which I hope I will continue to bump into. Good luck to everyone for the rest of the season! I'll still be looking on here and keeping an eye on the results. Southy277

Quick question regarding the WCQR. Crimond was WCQR 9 but then there's a gap until WCQR 13. Could someone clarify which of the future fixtures are WCQR's. Thanks

Great meeting, well run and WD to Leek on your final win and points score. Very happy with my points as I expected to get 0. Good heat races but Sije and Leek was both too fast to catch. Leek especially fast in the final. Made good progress in the GN but hit a fence post and somehow managed to continue..

WD Leighton on your win. It was a great race to watch but I was expecting Dan to disappear once he got into the lead but Leighton kept the pressure on. Great driving from you both! I ended up with suspension damage... Apologies to everyone who got caught in heat 3 (I think). Went to set off but didn't know that my car was damaged and when I hit the throttle the car pulled across the track.

Was a good meeting from where I was sat although it sounded like some of the reds were tripping over each other which probably helped me. WD Matty on your final win. At half way into he final I was catching Leek and Jack was catching me, decided that I needed to start making a move so hit Leek going into the bend which started him spinning. Because I had nowhere to go I ended up pushing him round but then he reversed across the track to the outside and held me up. Sorry to Leek! Had a great battle with Jack for 2nd which on the last bend backmarkers nearly helped me but I ended up hitting the back of Jack and pushing him across the line - doh! Cheers to the admin for running the meeting.

I have had an issue before if the driver has his own car already in the skin pack. Whilst I was creating a new skin I moved the new files into the UK Dirt folders as you mentioned but the new car would not appear even if the Name, number etc. in the veh file was different. I had to temporary remove the actual UK Dirt skin pack files for my car (moved them to a folder on my desktop) and then insert the new ones in there place. It worked then.

WD Jake on your title win. Was gutted that I had to work late last night. Had been practicing round this track and got a decent setup ready.

Just wondering what the blue / red grade drivers are doing in terms of lap times for Crimond? Never raced round there so its all new. Thanks.
