A superb teams meeting tonight, thanks to everyone for racing. The extra heats and semis proved to be an excellent addition and the racing was spot on. In the heats, the Rotarua Rebels were unbeaten and top scored. However, come the semi finals, the Palmerston North Panthers gave the Rebels a bit of a fright in the first semi final after they languished at the bottom of the points but the Rebels came through to win. Semi final 2 was a race of attrition with only one British Lions car making it to the finish, The newly renamed Nelson Tigger team going through to the final by the end of a destructive race. The grand final saw some excellent teamwork from the Tiggers and took the final from the much fancied Rebels. Congratulations to the Tigger team! To bring us in line with the mod the SRNZ league are running, there is now an update pack to download for the Kiwi Superstocks Mod. This is a mandatory download and will be used for all future events including tomorrows Team Meeting Update includes a 2 speed box, Kihikihi 2010 track and also various small updates to cars and team skins. Kiwi Superstocks Team Nominations: Bookings 17/01/2013 It’s time of year for some teams action with the NZ Superstocks! We have two meetings planned for teams, the first being a non championship event for bragging rights and the main Teams Championship later on in the series. Teams are to be made up of 4 members, one of which is the designated captain of the team and will book in below nominating the other 3 members of the team. The captain is responsible for the booking and attendance of the whole team. There is a separate thread up for drivers who are looking for a team and for teams looking for drivers. Look HERE Format will depend on the amount of teams, if there are more than 4 teams then Semi Finals/Grand Final format will be used. Every team will race each other once in the heats over 10 laps. Finals will be 15 laps. Heat Points: 1st - 10 2nd - 5 3rd - 3 4th - 1 Finals: 1st car across the line is the winner for their team. Semi Final 1: 1st vs 4th Semi Final 2: 2nd vs 3rd Grand Final: Less than 5 teams will result in the top 2 teams going straight into the Grand Final.
