  1. Right, I suspected it in the server yesterday when I was trying to help, but the wheel you are using sounds totally knackered. As you have been racing for over a year to my knowledge, you have done well and got your moneys worth out of a relatively cheep wheel really considering you race all of the leagues for rF currently on UKDirt. As you put so much time into racing, maybe you should look at getting a better quality wheel and pedal set. A mid range wheel like a Logitech DFGT or DFP might be a good start, and once you've set it up and got used it, you will get more out of your racing. Cheers Andy
  2. That's a much better time for me as well, I would be interested in racing, just have to see what I'm doing on that Sunday etc
  3. For those interested, I'll put together a helmet skinpack if there is enough interest. Please see the post below in the Grasstrack forum for details. http://www.ukdirtforum.com/index.php?showtopic=38170 Cheers Grasser

  5. All the best Mav, always one of the stalwarts of UKDirt although I still think you should continue racing and just do the meetings at the tracks you want to do... It's not like you're tootling around at the back is it as wins etc have come your way when you put the effort in that you have over the last few meetings. You should certainly reconsider anyway. You should have painted that Heat Murray up for rF, would have been interesting to see.
  6. Hutch has explained the main points there so I won't go further with that.... The rotation thing is purely a personal setting, if you are happier with it lower for more response then go for it. That's the only difference really.
  7. There's a good guide on our website here as well. http://uksom.tumblr.com/controller
  8. Hi, There is a helmet template... I've attached it into the post. Please note that you have to save this per a car skin for the Fives as DXT5. This is very important. You then save it into the helmets folder that you found and just pick it in game. This will only be seen by you however. I may do a helmet skinpack if there is enough interest as this template will every helmet (motoX and full face) in our mods. Helmet_Template.zip Thanks Andy NS38
  9. There's a Grasstrack sub forum on here, have a look as all the info is in there.

    Wow!

Load the league version of the mod, you can put your skin into one of the skin folders for the novice cars depending on what chassis you have painted. They are in the shaleOL and tarmacOL folders.

    Wow!

Thanks very much Andy, very much appreiciated. I won't lie that it has been a long old haul! Check out the website, we have allsorts out these days lol http://uksom.tumblr.com/ Cheers Andy
  12. Don't uninstall anything, it'll be ok when you connect to the server anyway. Best get in chat.
  13. Shale Skins attached. 233_Saloon_Shale.zip ** Received **
  14. Tarmac Skins attached. 233_Saloon_Tarmac.zip ** Received **
  15. What Drumb has pointed out here is quite correct, the damage just doesn't work like that. the car to car contact will always result in the car getting put into the fence coming worse off which tbh is as it would in real life anyway. You just can't simulate a bumper bending onto a wheel etc (and there's no base game that can) which is what would happen to a real car. Weakening them would result in virtually no cars finishing due the merest brush of the wall causing major damage and punctures galore which ironically is what happens in the NZ mod and imo far too weak. We spent quite some time getting a balance where you can damage the suspension under certain impacts (as Mav has pointed out) but not weak enough that they collapse within a lap. As for driving standards, which have been at an all time high I would say this season, there's nothing that the mod can do about that. It's all up to the individual driver and how they conduct themselves on the track.
  16. Grasser#233 booking out, bit too warm for me!
  17. Have effects on Off as well and make sure you've not Shadow Blur on. Effects are a big frame rate hogger.
  18. Thanks Hack, I should race them more really. With regards to the #12, looks great doesn't it! As Dave says, The scheme is basically the same, and I like the different way they have done the star so it gets a big thumbs up from me anyway! Cheers Andy
  19. Have to book out, sorry for the messing about. Cheers Andy
  20. Grasser#233 booking in (for some pain obviously)
  21. Southy is correct, you don't need to do anything other than install the UKDirt skinpacks. Default setup will also be spot for you, it's very close to the pace already so it's ideal to learn with. I wouldn't even touch the setup until you can drive consistent laptimes for 15/20 laps at a time. As for the server, it depends on what you were trying to join, the UKDirt servers are usually open to members during non-meeting evenings. Cheers Andy
  22. Server .48 is up.
  23. It's a Windows 7 issue, if you make sure you are on full res in game and use F12 to do a screengrab, it should come out full quality. All depends on your game graphics settings. Cheers Andy
  24. Userdata folder, Then the Folder with your player name. Should be in there.
  25. Works fine here, delete your F2 Stockcars League CCH file and that will probably fix it.
