The widescreen option is for the UI only and will not affect the resolution in game. If you have a widescreen monitor, you will have to run a widescreen suitable resolution for it to run right. With you going for a much larger monitor, anything you run on an reduced res will automatically look pixellated as it is designed to run at it's native res with it's increased size. You should try and come into the middle really, try running it at 1440x900 and test if your PC struggles with framerate at that setting.

A mixed meeting for myself, had a strong first heat and had good speed but seemed to get caught up in everything in all the other races. The final in particular where myself, Robin and Mike got all tangled up which cost all three of us a lap on the field in the end. Well done to Dode for the final, and as others have said, it's good to see some old faces back again...

I'll be about for both nights this time around.

Good evening's racing. Nice to get back into it, I'm hoping to be racing more permanently this year. Didn't get a lot of luck in any race but that's to be expected as I've not raced properly for ages... I'll try and make tomorrow if I'm free.

I should be about for the Saturday session.

My new shale effort for this year as the Lund was getting a bit long in the tooth... Tarmac is the same as last year but with a tidy up and sidepods. Cheers Grasser233

No probs, one of those things. I had to come tight as there were backmarkers on the outside so I didn't have much choice at the time.

Right, tbh Mav, It's stock car racing and stuff happens. I was sore with Davey after the final but I didn't help myself by being close to the tyre as I turned in... It's just one of those things and you just have to move on and get on with the next race. imo, Instead of threatening to not race..You should just take the positive out of the meeting and take it into the next one to prove a point as you went quite well for most of it and led some of the races. WD to all the racewinners, and cheers admin for running the meeting. Cheers Andy

Enjoyed tonight's meeting, it was hard stockcar racing in every race from where I was (and a tad choatic at times in the final!) which is how it should be imo. Well done to Aub for the Final win and to Bully Jnr for his first win! Cheers Grasser233

No problem, It was excessive but it's no problem. I'm not going to lie and say I was happy with it at the time but it is stock car racing and stuff happens and there isn't much more to say after that. Your lad drove well at the previous meeting so it took me more by surprise tbh with the way he drove last night. As for the meeting itself, I didn't get a lap in the final due to Aub catching the anti ride thing on the home straight which sent him into me... because of the lack of grip on the track, this then sent me onto the infield... brilliant! Dan also had one of the unluckiest final's ever I think as a car took him out from the infield, unlucky Dan!

You might need to delete your HAT file for Buxton as well to fix it. It's located in rFactor/Userdata/LOG/HAT

Great meeting, really enjoyed it and it was great to be back racing. Thursdays are awkward for me these days but I will take the opportunity to race when I can. Well done to Tom for the final, I had a shot at the final I think after a good start but I went very hard on the tyres early on and they were finished half way through which meant I lost a lot of pace for the second half and lost a lot of ground. Luckily I managed to keep it straight for the last couple of laps and get back to third. Going OT a sec... A lot's been said on various threads about getting drivers back and upping the numbers with new members. Last nights meeting did seem a bit more relaxed with the pacing of it between races etc and I do think this helps. A decent break in-between races is a good thing imo, it does get a bit of banter going and it also doesn't make the meeting feel like it's being rushed through. It also gives your arms a rest! My view is, along with obvious pricing issue and trying more open meetings that were such a success with F2, is that people have just got to get out there, get racing again and remember why we race in the first place...
