  7. In your .plr file, look for this line in the game options section.. Standings Func="0" // standings scroll with pit up/down keys: 0=no wraparound, 1=wraparound, 2=auto-scroll (can be changed while driving with pit increment key) if its set at "2" it will scroll through them automatically, if you have the pit increment key defined to something it will turn it off. "0" should disable it permanently.

  11. Yes, just delete the F1Stockcar folder which resides in C:\Program Files\rFactor\GameData\Vehicles. and also the F1Stockcars.cch file which resides in C:\Program Files\rFactor\UserData\"Your Player Name"
  12. Try adjusting the seat upwards, you'll be able to see them then
  13. Any sort of dual analogue controller should do the trick, I use an old logitech wingman dual stick pad at the moment which is no longer available...but you can get an adapter for a PS2 pad which plugs straight into an USB port. I think theres one on play.com somewhere if you have a look about, don't think they are too dear. I have a wheel as well but when I'm feeling lazy (which is most of the time) I tend to race with the pad more often than not...I did the entire RFC rallycross world championship on a joypad and managed to finish 15th which ain't bad so it's certainly do-able. I've attached my controller.ini for a pad with all the rates in it, might need to change your keys and axis around to suit whatever you're using. It goes in your userdata\controller folder..you'll see the other presets in there...just load it up in game and adjust what you need to suit. [attachmentid=21757] Joypad_controller_ini.zip

  18. The Mini Challenge mod is very good, I can vouch for that....I did the RFC Mini Championship while it was on and enjoyed it a lot. Hopefully they may do it again as it was, by far, one of the most popular championships they have run in terms of drivers competing. RFC do run some decent little Championships on their site, and they alternate mods and tracks quite frequently. The lower powered mods do give some great racing, theres a VW Lupo one on there atm for eg. If you have a look at Drumbsticks forum where his F1 stock car league is, theres quite a few other mods run on there. The nascar TPSCC mod league on there is probably worth a look as well, I hope to run in that sometime and I know Wrighty has been looking at it as well. Cheers Grasser#233
  19. Move those 2 folders and the 2 exe's directly to your c:/program files/rFactor folder...then run rFactor. you have to reactivate it so have your emails and activation number ready.
  20. Well done, one of the best sim vids out there imo Cheers Grasser#233
  21. Click the + sign at the top of the server page, next to the refresh button and manually type in the ip for jolt there...should direct it straight to it
  22. Original install skins and the recent ukdirt skinpacks would suffice, there isn't that many skins in the original install.
  23. It depends which leagues you are willing to try, if you are doing ukdirt only, I'd suggest just installing those over the original install....then you will only have the skins that come with it and the ukdirt skins. Thats an odd issue, never really heard of that one though
  24. Hi, an update for the beta of F1 Stockcars has now been released. Details of the changes are in the readme...I've also copy and pasted the readme here. Having read all the feedback so far, we've come up with this interim patch to improve the beta up until the full release. rFm - Opened up the track filter to take advantage of the track roster available for rFactor. Cars (Graphical) - The alpha channel built into the cars has now been disabled, this was left on by accident and should solve these photoshop conversion problems Vertex damage on the wheel rims has been disabled, this was very minor so should improve performance. Green "edging" that was appearing on some cars has now been fixed. TV Cockpit view has been altered to remove the stretched view it had previously. Cars (Physics) - We've added a stagger option on the rear axle on both surfaces, this is altered by the tyre compound setting in the garage. Default is for the stagger on, the original equal tyre size is also an option if you liked it how it was. This has made the cars more consistant with the stagger on, on both surfaces. This is a fairly major change and it seemed an obvious thing to add. Wear has been reduced on tarmac, if you totally cane the tyres, they still will wear out. Cold tyre grip on tarmac has been altered so it's not as difficult to pull away, they also come onto temp much quicker earlier on in a race. New internal collision objects have been added, this will need trying online but should provide a marked improvement with the side to side, car to car contact. This patch just goes straight over the top of your existing install, you do need v0.1 beforehand Go to rFactor Central for the download HERE Thanks
