This is going to come across really hard faced but, 1) Think we should reduce the trial from 2 weeks to 1 week, Imo we are getting a lot of new members from the free leagues..this isnt a bad thing but they already know what they are getting beforehand and 1 week would minimise the amount of mickey taking thats going on with the 2 weeks. 2) Think we should also have a render section of the forum, the skinpainting forum is totally diluted now with render threads and its the only time on the net Ive seen an entire sub-section of a forum go off topic rather than just a single post. Just to clarify, I have no problem with genuine trialists who are new to the game...2 weeks is about right for that but I dont think that the majority of new drivers are totally new to the online leagues. Unsupporting type 10 error means you are saving it as a compressed file, you can change it to uncompressed in the option when you save it. Cheers Grasser#233

The 1.80 patch was made when the Le Mans road course track came out.. Nascar heat had probs with tracks that are a longer length than a "normal" track and the new patch fixed that along with allowing for more textures to be used (might be wrong with the last one) and has allowed the Le Mans track to be made as well as a load of other longer tracks since then. It also allows the use of cheater traps in road course tracks..(might be wrong with that as well...Wrighty knows more on that one) There isnt any big reason to go on to it..it doesnt affect the short oval tracks we use I think but it would be a good idea to go on to it to bring us in line with what NH essentials is packed with and would simplify what everyone is installing from scratch imo Cheers Grasser#233

A common one with the essentials pack is the missing ui.res file error log. You might have to get someone to pass you a ui.res file for the specific mod if its giving you that error. Cheers Grasser#233

Have you tryed putting the filename of the trojan into google as well to see if theres any solutions on there, that helped with something I got a while back whilst in the middle of a Hendo Final. Hi, some general suggestions from me, I realise some of these maybe either a)stupid, b)un-feasible, c) both....apologies in advance 1), Sort out all the installers/downloads on the ukdirt site for the main mods. How many times do you see someone posting an error log in the computer help section down to a no ui.res error or something. With Nascar heat essentials being more common now maybe the mods should be packed with that in mind 2), How about some new splash screens for the mods (the front screen, loading screen etc). We've been using the current ones for 2 years I think now and it might be good to have a change of scenery...could be done an a non-essential update or something 3), I think the front page of the Ukdirt website needs sorting, It currently has the "this is the backup site...." paragraph and surely this is out of date now. 4), How about a locked FAQ section for this forum, the ukdirt site imo isnt the first place new people look for help and maybe some of the info on the site...installation guide, skin conversion etc could be on here as well just so it isnt so confusing for first timers. I could also stop so many threads on how things work, whats gone wrong... 5), We should go back to the password for jolt being changed at least every other day I also realise that most of the above will take a lot of work by various people and this isnt putting down any of the work currently done by all the admin Cheers Grasser#233
