I am a bit confused by the topic and what you want help with, but being mu usual helpful self I decided to try and help anyway. If you are using photoshop and trying to seperate part of a layer so it is a new layer if you know what I mean, e.g bonnet and roof seperate to become to seperate layers, you can use the lasso tool to go round the bonnet for example and the go to Layer > New Layer > Layer via cut This should give you a new layer with the selected part from the old layer. Classic thread this has been nearly wet meself with laughter is there gonna be a minstox league or not.... Probably, a good one though, i doubt it unless everyone just works together and takes each others ideas into consideration and find out what the most popular verdict is.

I really cannot see this league taking off at all, its not even been the first meeting or even an official set of rules published and admin(kane) are already arguing with potential racers. I can't see how arguing with people who you are trying to persuade to race is going to help get this off the ground. If all it is going to be is just childish name calling and arguing there is no way i will race. Kane as admin, you need to accept other peoples opinions and abide by them rather than arguing back. This is admins job, to do what you see is best for everyone who wants to race instead of doing what suits you best. If you are the only one who wants to folow people in, which it looks like that is the case, you will have to abolish the rule. For a starting league, which imo needs to be a quick come and race league should start of slowly with only one skin, that is all it needs. People will not want to paint two skins for a minor league. Especially if they have to use difficult techniques like the 'dirty' effect, that as far as i can see most people can't be bothered with. Cheers Kruiz

You mean you cant get the itallics to go the other way? If so, no problem. If you are using photoshop, select that layer then go to edit > transform > Skew Then drag the top left corner to the desired 'slantiness' if thats a word lol

That looks much better mate: Keep the yellow how it is, it looks good. Either make the red darker or change it to black imo The right side numbers on the panel next to the head rest ned to go the other way like the original one (so its readable, left to right) Make the back panel sign a bit smaller but keep it centered the crowd side number on the aerofoil could do with being just slightly less stretched and try to make the italics go the other way so the top half points backwards like the infield side. Obviously you dont have to do all that but they are my thoughts and opinions. Cheers Kruiz

It really is a decent attempt jamesy but it is the very smalest details that make a great skin. Here are a few suggestions that you can leave or take. Slant the 101 on the right side of the aerofoil the other way so the top half is pointing backwards rather than forwards, if you know what i mean. (Maybe) the right crowd side plate '101' should be made less stretched, try placing it to the far left of the aerofiol. The sign on the crowd side left panel of the aerofoil needs to be a bit clearer. Apart from that, its a good skin mate

Hi m8, Most routers now have a built-in firewall, so if you're first pc hosts a server, the 2nd pc'll get in no problem but you may not be able to serve to the outside world ....... until you dabble with the router settings haha...nah it can be done but its a faff, but pc's on your network'll find it np I got a Netgear DG834 wired router (not wireless, ask kewy about wireless ) with a built-in firewall....i've linked the 'range' page rather than product so u can look at the choices, but ours was easy to set up and works very well. As far as my understanding goes, this 'router' enables two computers to share the same connection and wil enable another computer in my house toi race online at the same time as another, yes? Ok questions: 1) If my first computer hosted a private server, could my second computer join this server as they will both share the same ip address? 2) Can anyone point out where i can get one from?
