Good job you didnt start it then, as that would have been a waste of time for one of us.

It doesn't look to bad, the outlines on the panels are a bit rushed though imo, they go off the car in places.

Hi Bleach, your F2 is nearly finished, however there is a gap on the wing next to your number which I think your real name would look good there. I sent you a pm a few days ago but you didnt reply, so could you tell me your real name please? If you don't want your real name on it, then thats fine i'l try and fill the gap with something else.

If your planning on starting the F2 season on the 15th of Jan (i think thats when it starts?) I will need to get to work on your skin as soon as possible, so the admin can recieve it in time, so it depends if you car will be painted in time. Im not sure when the skins need to be in by and I will need at least 3 days to get it done as real life skins can be difficult to do sometimes. -
There is two files in the zip folder. One of the tengtools monster and text but its a bit small, so I have also found another one that is just the monster but it is several times bigger and has a transparent background. Teng_Tools_logo.zip

I think what he's after is an organised practice session. I wouldn't mind taking part in such an event if possible. If im free I may also turn up, cant say im one of the fastest but I have won 2 or 3 races.

See you on track soon then, you are definately making the right choice by getting straight out there and building up skill online. Online racing is a completey different experience to offline racing. More advice would be, until your fast enough to challenge the top drivers there is no point attacking them needlessly. You will end up with a bad reputation which is impossible to shake off (just ask Kane ) and end up being nailed on every corner. Looking forward to racing with you as a white grader myself , Kruiz EDIT: have you got someone to paint your F2, or are you doing it yourself? If neither, I will do one for you if you want. -
I now have the add-on cars working after figuring out how to use the carstockapylse thing. I assume you can paint your own banger by painting over an existing car on all those little templates in the folder in each car file. Is there anyway I can re-paint the car, getting rid of all existing signs and changing the colour etc and still keep the detail on the panels? Any help much appreciated (as always lol), Kruiz

No amount of practise offline can prepare you for online racing. I waited years until i thought i was good enough because I won every offline race, but when i raced online, i was one of the very slowest. My advice is get yourself online as soon as possible then from there and there oonly will get real practise on how to race. It is all about maximum concentration and settup perfection. -
You have to save up money to buy cars, and tracks are unlocked as you progress through the game. Each meeting brings you a new track and there are ten standard tracks in the season with 2 or 3 seperate you can download but it is quite difficult to add them from memory, i didnt manage it anyway

Stick with it, Photoshop is much better then Paintshop (and the price reflects that lol) I have never used paintshop, I used to have and still do, Photoshop 6, I just downloaded the trial version of CS2 to see how much more advanced it is, so far it looks to be mainly that it stuffs more pixels into an A4 piece of paper, but the printouts come out much better
-
Thanks m8 , very relieved, its not the best of tools whe your trying to paint a skin and move the layers around so that its pixel perfect.
-
Oh right I get it now i think You wanted different colour on the front to the back of the bumpers? I wanted to do that aswell, I was going to have a green front and white back but in the end I just did the whole chassis white and the body green and white, I think it looks better that way anyway.

I have just downloaded Photoshop CS2 on a 30 day trial to see what it is like in comparison to my old Photoshop 6. On photoshop 6 I could move my layers pixel by pixel but on CS2 it seems to estimate where I want them and rather than moving them pixel by pixel it will jump about 50 pixels at a time around the other layers. I want to know if there is any way to turn this feature off as it is not very accurate for painting skins as I can't get my text layers to line up properly bcause it keeps 'guessing' where I want the layer and I can't get it to where I want it. Any help very much appreciated, Kruiz
