For 2 or 3 weeks now I have been having problems with my PC and have had to revert to my old PC (which I am using now) but i has been in storage for about 5 years an is o slow even to play online Ukdirt. I'm getting annoyed about missing out on my racing now and have tried every I know to fix my problem with my PC and I really want to get my decent PC running again. I as hoping now tht mybe some of the more techical minded people on here could help me bcause at the moment I have had to leave it to my Dad to fix and we are getting nowhere lol. The problem is this, my Dad took AOL off the PC, then put it back (not sure why) but it seems that the PC didn't like it. It looks like the AOL program installed properly until you click 'sign in' and the welcome page says 'page cannot be displayed'. This is the ame for any website that you attempt to type in the web browser. It seems that there is no connection a all but the e-mail system still works, strangely. Thats the first problem. The second one is, and I think they might e linked, is that I now have no sound at all, either from media player, or in game music or even that annoying 'welcome to AOL' and 'you have email' voice. When I investigated that b going to Start > System > 'Hardware' tab > Device Manager > then scroll down to 'Sound, video and ame controllers' one of the Devices entitled 'Mulimedia Audio Controller Properties' has a mall exclamation mark in a yellow box next to it. When I clicked on this it says 'The driver for this device are not installed, to reinstall this device, click Reinstall driver'. So thats what i did. Then it says that file 'a3d.dll' is needed. But when doing a search it appears that there are already a3d.dll fils on my PC, but lots of them. Are these problems linked? More importantly can anyone help me please because I just don't know what to do without completely reformatng the PC. Thanks Kruiz

Hi, Could anyone tell me how to get the detail on the car template to show through white sign writing. I have seen it on other peoples cars. I have tried using popacity and the layer options (Hue Saturaion) etc, but it just looks wrong or the white turns to grey. Is there any way I can get the detail to show though on my white sign-wriing? Kruiz

Really nice skin Dannysan Finally finished my Tar car, its quite a lot different to what i've seen so far (or ever i think ). Seeing as i'm somewhat obsessed with Green Day's music I have decided to devote this years F1's to them and as you can see it is heavily Green Day themed. If you don't know who Green Day are, firstly where have you been for the last 15 years?? and secondly they are the most successful punk rock band ever founded in 1991 and still making music to this current day. The images are of members of the band or the images on the cover of their albums. I haven't got any renders done yet as i'm not sure this is the finished version. im on 256k and have done for the last few years and no problems races only mess up when newbies like you dont close any other programmes,especially msn! pull the ladder jack Thats what annoys me most, people with good connection speeds think they will be fine if they keep msn etc. on in the background and they often are, but peopke like myself and im sure plenty others with slow/dodgy connections usually suffer when they keep programs like that up.

I do agree that petitions are most the time completely pointless (especially the ones I set up to try and get teachers the sack ), but without resorting to violence its the only thing we can do, and its better than doing nothing at all.

Cool video, theres lots of possibilties that could have ended Des's race, the most likely ones being; flat tyre, overheating, engine cutting out, drivers get a sixth sense for whether there car is responding properly so Des could have sensed a problem with the car, also when you get stuck in the wires like that on the exit of a corner, especially at places like Coventry where the exits are particularly narrow and fast, it can be very difficult to reverse out without another car hitting you.

Tony and the rest of his dead heads in parlemant have been at it again. He has proposed to enforce restrictions that mean you can no longer take photographs in public places (anywhere accept your house basicly), unless you have a license to do so, which is likely to cost money to get. This means that you could no longer dawdle around the pits taking a few pictures of the days Stock cars/bangers etc. without breaking a law. God knows how they are planning to monitor this, but the point is weather you are BWP or just an amateur photographer like myself and you, you cannot take pictures without breaking the law unless you get a license. To try and help stop this from happening, sign this petition on the official government website (like the road tax one) and let our opinions be heard. In truth mines a yarrow aswell MoR (my skins going to be a bit 'different' and should be ready in about a week, its taking ages as theres some quite tricky and time consuming effects and signs being made, tested, scrapped and made again lol) The yarrows a top model (evidently) Really nice skin as always m8
