What are we supposed to do exactly?

I've turned it down to CX7 now, but it still wont work, this is the settings I have been using though. [attachmentid=15058] Just a thought, the problem wont have anything to do with the amount of laps and opponents etc. that I might have selected in options would it? Cheers Kruiz

what? lol del the track folder should be in C:\Program Files\rFactor\GameData\Locations\Sexbierum then del sexbierum.hat C:\Program Files\rFactor\UserData\LOG\HAT Nope, no luck with im afraid either It must be something to do with the mod, as it crashes on the loading bar of every track. Gets to the end of the loading bar and then nothing happens. What dx level you in? Erm, I chose DX9 when I installed rFactor as thats what came up from my PC specs information. I know I need a better graphics card as i'm using Radeon X300 series, but its just about doing the job with all my other mods so far...

Id say del the mod, and redownload. Not sure what to tell you. Odd problem... But I hear Sexbierum is a fun track to run on with these I get all the weirdest and hardest to solve computer problems lol

try going into a Test Day with no AI cars to see if that works, also are you running DX7? if so go up to DX8 just incase its a graphics issue. If all else fails re-download the mod and re-install it, amazingly that fixes issues alot of the time! Been racing these at Sexberium the past few nights online, bloody amazing fun! I'm running DX9, i've tried re-installing it and i've also tried test day aswell as race weekend. I'm trying to get them to work at Sexbierum, but they don't work at any other track either.

Just installed this. One problem, once I have selected a car etc. and select a track, the loading bar gets to the end, then the game just freezes up and doesn't go to race menu. This only happens in these NZ cars though... any ideas? Thanks Kruiz

Thats the best way IMO, because if you put your sign layers underneath the Overlay duplicate then the detail effects your signs for a more realistic look. Cheers Kruiz

hi m8, After you've done the cd install, start the game and go to practice and do a couple of laps.....this helps the game finalise the install. Then come out of the game, install your no-cd patch and the 1.72e patch, try it again, then install your mods. I think the problems you've had were by running the disc install but not trying the game. Thanks Wrighty I had forgotten to install the no-cd patch lol Kruiz

Hi all, after a recent reformatting of my computer, I have to install Nascar Heat again. But I can't seem to get it to run off the Hard Drive. I have gone into set up and selected Run off Hard drive, it then installed some things (tracks etc.) But when I try to play the game it asks me to insert the CD. When running the game off the CD the sound plays very quickly. I then decided to download Nascar Heat essentials but when trying to Install that, it says the file contains Invalid data. What am I doing wrong? Thanks Kruiz

It needs to be zipped using winzip I think for future reference. It doesn't really matter now, but thanks anyway. I have fixed problem by formatting the Computer, as I had to race tonight in the team meetings and couldn't wait any longer. Thanks to everyone who tried help. Cheers Kruiz

Thats what i'm going to do but I have so much stuff that I need to keep it will cost me fortune in disks etc. so just wondering if there was another easier (and cheaper ) way. Edit: Still can't seem to download it off filefront, any chance someone could post it up here or in a pm? Thanks Kruiz

I'm using my old PC, but its so rubbish I cant even play Nascar Heat on it. I have just found my usb transfer cable so I could now transfer the file, but when I click 'Download Now', It come up with an error message 'Internet Explorer could not doenload this file. The page that contains the info may be currently down' or something like that anyway lol.

I cant m8, I havn't got a connection to download it on.

lol, yeah they were plugged in Sorted the problem with the sound now, it was a corrupt file a3d.dll that i managed to replace. Howver, I still haven't really got any further with my connection problem, anyone got any idea's about that? Thanks Kruiz

Is your skin named 'car999.tex' and located in the ukdirtbangers folder? Also, I assume you have converted the tga 2 tex via mktex and not just renamed the tga file to car999.tex?

Sorted now Seriously though, everything is turned up to full volume and have messed about with numerous things and all seems to be fine, but no sound.
