Had a 'mixed' meeting personally, 3 awful Heats and 2 pretty good ones, especially Heat 6 where I was very pleased to take the win after overcoming strong competition from first Madcowie, then DanSkin. Really need some better equipment to be able to compete, as I know I'm not doing my ability any justice nor have I been all year in rF F1, but still I like to join in. I don't usually say my well dones until I've watched the race back, to see what the winner really did, but there seemed to be no complaints on the night afterwards - so well done Mike for taking the British title!

Rather strange to dangle 'bait' as a statement of fact as you clearly did in your earlier post. I used to go trout fishing in some of the quite picturesque reservoirs here in the North East, and if I'd put fake worms on the end of my fishing line, I'm sure I'd not have caught anything ;-) You may think you have the whole world worked out at your tender age - hell, a lot of your posts both here and on Stoxnet would suggest so, but be assured, you don't

I don't often read these particular ukdirt forums re. real racing - nor was I at the World Final, but I have to say much the same as Mart, I find it ridiculous for anyone to suggest that Stuart Smith Jnr is a poor driver. Not sure if you were there at NIR in October 2001 Kruiz, WHEN HE GOT 2ND IN THE FINAL IN HIS VERY FIRST F1 MEET...or if you've forgotten his brilliant drive to take the 2008 British. Get daddy to buy you an equally good F1 as Stuart, then show him how very poor he is why don't you? In my humble opinion you're not only showing yourself to be naive, but a little stupid too in making such comments. Anyone with the thinnest understanding of racing who has watched Stuart race, can see he is quite the opposite of 'poor'.

This Thursday - Coventry - World Championship Semi Final
Corny 391 replied to Johno3's topic in F1 (rFactor)
Hello, Just thought I should say that when I came to select my shale skin for last week's King's Lynn meeting, it didn't appear to be on the server - same thing had happened for the Skegness prior and someone fixed it, however I'd had so little experience on KL (and was the only yellow top so little chance of mistaken identity) that I just proceeded with the novice skin, as I needed every minute's practice in the pre-meeting server just to get familiar with the track. However, for tomorrow could someone please check that my shale skin will be active on the server i.e useable for me? I should have posted earlier, but rather now than wait until pre-meeting practice tomorrow and someone have to disrupt the server for this. Thanks, Corny -
Booking plz (provided my PC is still OK as I've just had a load of hassle with virus/spyware ), Thx, Corny

Reserve booking incase of anyone dropping out please, didn't pre-book as I wasn't sure if I'd be in the mood etc -
Could I have a late booking for Knockhill and a 'provisional' booking for Cowdenbeath please?

Really enjoyed this meeting, my first one on shale in rFactor F1...was pleased to be able to move up through the field after early set-backs in the Heats, and come within a few laps of winning the Final, had it not been for a gaggle of backmarkers and of course Ironmac who I had a top race with. Does anyone have the Heat 1 replay handy please? I didn't realise there was a yellow top 'novice' skin available prior to being told in a race, so will be sure to use that if I race again without a personalised skin.

Sorry I couldn't post before now, am I too late? If not then please include me

Spike am I too late to get in? Just loaded the game up, put all the skins in and to my surprise I can actually get around the track...

No offence Kendo but the way you're talking, anyone would think these fellas are being paid handsomely to replicate all of the UK-Dirt league's mods. Rather than, as it seems, putting a lot of time and effort into projects/formulae that they're interested in. I have no idea of the further intentions of anyone involved, but the current recognised 'UK-Dirt' mods certainly weren't all made by the same team/person, so it's not really fair to speak in these sort of terms when it comes to brand new works in progress IMO... F1's are looking great so far, enjoying seeing the videos- all credit to all those involved in what must be very intensive and time-consuming work!

I might be up for some of this. Haven't played the game for ages so will have to find it, and get back to you as regards driver/number! Can't beat a proper bit of shale can you, regardless of the lag.

Evening Reb, hope it's been (and continues to be) a happy birthday for you! Cheers, Corny

Just looking at the darts now on BBC.....does anyone else think Shaun Greatbatch must have been seperated at birth from UK-Dirt's very own DaveW?!
