Just got back from Cowdie to which I paid an unexpected visit for the evening, although obviously some of the regulars are cheesed off with the track and racing I canny enjoyed it...Final was alright for the F2's with Burgoyne (647) pegging Moodie (79) back once he'd got past, and Keith Brown (82) coming through to take the win. Broatchy (725) did a pretty good job of keeping Moodie behind him for 3 or 4 laps in the GN before 79 managed to knock him offline and get through to drive his way into the sunset as I'm sure a lot of you are used to seeing up there week in week out Not a regular saloon watcher myself but did enjoy them as well, some of the hits going in on their turns3/4 looked massive...especially the Consi with Richard Baldwin (425) dishing it out big style. Eddie Darby (677) kopped it large on what must have been the first lap of the Superbowl on that same bend... Was good to put some names to faces from the UK-Dirt league for the first time, such as Korizin and Crasher...and enjoyable banter up there on the steps as ever. Big thanks to Mav for taking me up there picking me up on his way up from Lincolnshire, as we only really arranged to go up about 1:30am Saturday morning on MSN it made a nice change to go and see some racing up there, and of course get to see some of the folks who I/we don't see very often during the course of a season. Cheers, Corny

The new F1 league Disciplinary Committee is now fully operational. From the 8 applicants, 3 people were selected to form the new committee and work with myself in handling any complaints over F1 driving incidents. Big Al, Crewesader and JohnMid are the three people in question and I am very pleased to be able to work with them. From now on any official complaints over racing matters should be sent by Private Message on this forum, directly to myself, then the matter will be presented to the committee and discussed. In the event of a member appealing against a ruling, then the appeal will still go to the full UK-Dirt Admin team for discussion, with the outcome of this being the final decision with no further appeal available. Thx, Corny

I still use a joystick yes- creaky old Microsoft Sidewinder, think it's about the third or fourth one I've had (same as Cap's but without the big stuff on the left of it) although it might be due for replacement soon if there's any going on ebay

Just got back tonite from the wkend- truly amazing drives for your wins WW, especially the Final in the circumstances- would be interested to see if the laptimes get published cos at times, as someone has said, there didn't seem to be anyone on the track quicker than you that's for sure. There won't be many in history who've had such a good start to their F1 career I dare say, a big well done and good luck next time out

Hope ur having a gr8 day Grasser, many happy returns

Good luck WW and Jo

It's harder boiling an egg than it is mapping a car in Zmod if you've already done the model which is much more complicated, if you can't be arsed to read the tutorials which by the way are included in the program, you don't deserve any help...

Top Trumps: Stock Cars - anyone remember these
Corny 391 replied to norrismcwhirter's topic in Non-League / Off Topic
The newer ones were based on the 1995 F1 season. Got about 4 packs here somewhere, the first time we found them on sale was in a Woolworths in the Lake District and I could hardly believe my eyes at the time
