  1. Incarace are a right funny bunch so for the sake of 5 mins with a tin of dulux it might save you some hastle, they even marked my log book for having red down tubes on the cage when they should have been white!
  2. Happy birthday Mav, you old bugger!
  3. I`ve just noticed something on your car Kruiz... your roof plate is the wrong grade colour, it needs to white or a non grade colour. It wont be a problem while you race from the back but might cause problems when you come to race at the front of the grid
  4. Nice one mate. Just a little tip for next time thought - remove the engine from bellhousing leaving the gearbox and prop in place, the engine will come out much easier then as you`ll only have to move it forward a couple of inches then straight up.
  5. I hope i`m wrong Kruiz and it`s just straight forward for you Lol no problem Si, i did think it was a bit strange! Good luck Jimmy at Brum, i`ll be there but drunk so i`ll talk alot but make even less sense than normal!
  6. Well done Kruiz, you did well on your first time out. You picked a good meeting for your debut with hardly any of the top lads there I`m not sure your problem is your clutch though, more likely the gearbox as the clutch will work or not work regardless of what gear you are in. Nice one Si, you have a had a great season so far and i hope it contunues for you! Unlucky Ironmac, my first ever meeting ended up the same way lol Oil presure gauges are pretty cheap on ebay so it shouldnt cost you must and i think you overadvancing the ignition timing might be the cause of you low oil pressure, it happened to us a couple of years ago. Too mcuh advance knocks the big end out in no time
  7. Happy birthday boys, have a great day!
  8. Is that yours Tosh? I`ve never seen those wheels on an E46 before they suit it, i just hope they aint got runflat tyres on them lol
  9. I dont want to sound stupid but whats a clutch release valve? Thrust bearings tend to noisey when you dont have the clutch depressed and go quiet when you do cos they are under load. Good look Kruiz, hopefully i`ll be there sunday to see how you get on.
  10. Would someone be as kind as to do me a skin, all i`m after is blue body and black chassis and my number, i dont need any other sign writting.. for now!
  11. Stupid question, but which files do i need to delte so i dont bugger it all up?
  12. ok mate i`ll have a go, cheers
  13. Anyone know how i can get them?
  14. I cant find a novice skin Am i doing something wrong or isnt there one?
  15. Can i play too please, Mart870 yellow top, novice skin
  16. Unlucky Muzza, i`ve had my wheel come off 3 times now on two different wheels and it`s not much fun lol Good luck with finding a new car.
  17. Cheers Si, i`ll be keeping them until they are as bald as me then lol The 3 link setup you use has never been the best on an f2, f1`s use them on tar cos they get too much grip with a torque arm and dont really use 4 link cos they can use bird cages. The problem with your stup is that the top bar pulls the diff up rather than pushing it down when the rear compresses and looses grip. It`ll be fairly easy for you to add a couple of pickup points on the top of the axle and on the chassis for 4 link or you could go down the torque arm route and have roll steer on the axle but for it to work properly you`ll need a gearbox with the output on the back of the box rather than at the end of the tailshaft.
  18. Hitches and spares are proper expensive, and Al-ko is at the upper end off the price spectrum! Ebay sometimes has cheap ones come up and theres a couple of people who break caravans on there too.
  19. I`ve not yet tried the Yoko`s new or part worn after saying to Dave Tagell (blue top No.20) he strongly advised me against it saying they dont have half the grip a new one does. Si seems to be going through his tyres quickly, what your thoughts Si?
  20. Aye they have been known to kick people out of Brisca for racing at Grimley and after paying nearly £100 for a Brisca licence it`s not worth the risk. Kruiz, I`ve been told by other drivers that part worn Yoko`s are a waste of money, they just dont grip you would be better off buying a can of softner for you avons than buy used Yoko`s
  21. Nothing with the car as money is tight at the mo but we are half way through refurbing the trailer - shorter, new axles, tow hitch and tyre rack.
  22. Cheers mate, it`s not perfect by a long way but i like it - i just wish it had a turbo in it lol
