Sorry to ask a question which i know others have raised similar ones but due to my warping probs with my wireless connection at my house (which is shared with 2 others), i am considering getting anther broadband connection. Unfortunately it'll have to be with NTL as i dont have a bt line-my question is that due to finances i can only realistically afford the 300k broadband speed, should this be ok for racing in the ftwooz? as i seem to have exhausted most avenues for my 1.5 mb shared connection and i still warp! It'd be nice to know if anyone else uses a similar broadband connection (particulally on NTL) b4 i order the sodding thing!

Well hair, i have a 1.5 mb connection via ntl which i share with 2 housemates-we have a wireless connection (correct connect?) and i have the connection to myself 4 f2's on a monday night and i still warp occasionally !!!(as i'm sure various people will tell you ) and i've followed all the advice on the tweaking guide too! As pedz put it on monday-bin the wireless!

Sorry to be so blunt about it but what is wrong with giving the NZ heat some jolt time on say a saturday or sunday afternoon-everytime i look to go on there at the weekend during the day both jolts are empty (unless its a pre arranged winter meeting such as bh 2005 thunder etc) i'm sure some people out there would appreciate racing this mod online even if the weekends (particulaly during the day) are less busy as people have other arrangements-surely its worth a go dragon?

hi there hold it, when you click on2 ukdirt.co.uk, when you enter the username and password you should have an option to be emailed the payment options. I am not admin or anything but from when i payed the 1st time there is no specific link to make a payment directly, it would have to come from paypal or a similar method (if you wish to pay via card). - Dont forget the £1.50 admin cost as well for the card payment!! of course i go to the meetings-exactly why i put my post up! There is no doubting that carlos is a good driver and to go from a yellow grade to superstar status is a fantastic achievement but since he has become a s/s then he doesnt seem to be able to keep with the likes of the smithy's, lundy or fwj so, in my opinion i think the only way he will become world champ 2005 is if there is one almighty pile up and he nips through (from the back) I will be extremly interested to see how 305 gets on this season, as i certainly dont think he is quite ready for that s/s status!

305 for gold 2005-do you watch any of the meetings??????? Anytime i go and see him he's always in the consolation!! My brother and i even call him CONSOLATION CARLOS!!!!! FRANKIE 4 GOLD! Having said that as long as flukey flading doesn't win it again.

Does anyone oknow of this software so that i can limit each compuuter on my network to a set amount of bandwidth so that i can have all angles covered on race nights-just thinking of a last resort!!! Google seems to come up with a couple of suggestions such as softperfect bandwidth manager but dont know if this should work????

aha! My ping rate when my house mates are online varies between about 100 and 300!!!!!! However when i have the connection 2 myself then i run between 40 and 60!, hence probably why i warp so badly!! My mates have agreed to allow me 2 have the connection to myself every monday night so i can do the f2's!! Thanx for everyones suugestions on my warping probs, but i think the only way that i can play any more formula is with a totally seperate connection or have my current connection 2 myself more often (doubt that is going 2 happen!) so for this year i will do the f2's only!

Just out of interest does anyone know what the numbers are, which move on the left hand side, when u go in2 online ukdirt and type in the ip address?

good ideas corny I think what would be good with regards to your idea of more points 4 a bigger turnout would be to give points according to how many blues, reds and superstars are in attendance as well-not sure how it wouldaffect anything but certainly if the likes of wainman jr (2005 world champ!!!!) is competing against (no disrepect) only 1 or 2 other reds and superstars and a few blues then he should score much less points than when a final's line up includes lundy, andy and stu smith, paul harrison, gary castell etc etc. I would also like to see more heats at f1 races with bugger turnouts such as cov or nir - think it would be good 4 all racers 2 get 2 heats minimum like in some other venues that dont get the turnout.

I wonder if anyone can assist me at all before i throw my computer out of my window!!! When playing online i seem 2 warp 2 or 3 times each race, i have followed all of the ukdirt's suggestions of the tweaking guide but i still warp!! Scrapman53 has assisted and my wapring has become less frequesnt but obviously i am a bit worried 4 the coming season. I have ad aware, spybot, changed the configuration, amended the vitual memory, degragmented my pcand even when going on2 ukdirt connected using the 33k modem option! I have a 1 mb broadband connection which i share with 2 housemates (one of which uses e-donkey permanantly, so stuff is being downloaded on a seperate pc while i'm on ukdirt). We each have a linksys wireless connection on our computers and a main rooter. Does anyone think it would be possible to play uk dirt online without warping without having 2 ask my housemates not 2 be online while i am!!!!???? Any suggestions would be welcomed, as i dont know anything at all about messing with my wireless connection!

Not sure if anyone can answer this but i was wondering if anyone knew what the schedule of races will be like at coventry in april 2005 as in my last programme it states that there will be unlimited f1's only with no support. I was wondering if they might hold more heats or even do a design similar to that of the british championship rather than just the usual 3 heats, consolation, final and gn. If it is only going to be this i would prefer to see some f2's as well or some other support race as per normal!

Are we not forgetting about the 1989 version which i do believe got to number one as well and featured the likes of Kylie, Jason Donovan, Marti Pellow and Sir Cliff Richard to name but a few!!!!!
