Lo lads, Can anyone help with the name of the font of "DK race technology" decal, as seen on James Thackra's F2 car. I've had a look through various fonts but can't seem to get anything close!! [attachmentid=7429]

All Albz and others are suggesting is that Sparky is a non-payer of UKDIRT but all he seems to do is whinge and moan about various things to do with UKDIRT including new tracks (Mildo V2), renders, chassis. If he doesnt like it then why keep coming on here and slagging off things which people such as NickM and Dragon (amongst others) give up their free time to try to improve for US! NickM doesnt race F1's, BriSCA Legends or F2's (correct me if i'm wrong) but there seems to be a greater consensus that the work he did for Mildo V2 is only going to make the racing better in those leagues. What if he got 2 a stage where UKDIRT wanted his help in adjusting another track or even making a new track-and all he saw was crap posts moaning about him-well if it was me i'd tell UKDIRT to get stuffed! IMO its gone on for to long and its time to take a stand against him.

I'm glad u see it that way Dragon. UKDIRT (and the other free leagues) would be nowhere without people like yourself, and the original moddellers who are happy to give up your (extensive) time in creating new tracks and chassis Some of us appreciate it. You are quite right Trash-a million apologies to all of those planks out there-i should be banned for being so rude to them-what was i thinking comparing a thick, selfish, useless wooden object to Sparky. I would like to ask main admin why Sparky is still allowed to post on this forum? As i understand it, this forum (expertly run by Kev149 i must add and not 2 take anything away from his dedication both financially and in time) is now paid for (in part or full i do not no-i'm happy to be stood corrected if this is not the case) by the members of UKDIRT from the yearly membership fee. Surely someone who is filling the forum with this drivel and constant "bashing" of the modellers, whom only are adding to our enjoyment within UKDIRT, when he adds ABSOLUTELY NOTHING himself, should not have access to posting on the UKDIRT Offical Forum.

Right then ... The number which changes ie 32-64 is your ping rate. If your ping goes above (approx) 200 then you will probably warp-most peeps are on broadband so there ping varies between 16 and 64 ish. 0/24 is the amount of cars currently in the JOLT server -24 is the maximum it can hold. Open means the server is open-sometimes it will say ready and other times it will show as racing. F2 -8-10 shows that between 8pm and 10 pm F2's will be allowed in to that JOLT server as there is a meeting on. When a meeting is being run the both JOLT servers are utilised so that 2 races can be run at once. ie F2 meeting is tonight so both JOLT's will be in use for them untill approx 10pm. When you are in JOLT with others then u will see there names on the right hand side of the screen. If you are by yourself then obviosuly nothing happens but when others appear after everyone clicks "approve" then your light will go 2 dull green and you will see a "garage" option avaible. Click on this and adjust your setup accordingly. When you are finished playing with your setup click "exit" (i think) and it will take u back to the screen with other drivers names and a jolt chatroom. Click on the "GO" button and your green light lights up-when everyone has finished playing with themselves in the garage and all have clicked on GO then the race will begin.

Biffo (the bear?) Mirc chat rooms 2 and 3 are only used in case of a problem with the main chat room. I believe there was a case at some point early last year that one of the other chat rooms were used but its very unusual so don't worry about them. Got no idea about the bangers but for F1's and F2's when u download the game there will only be the novice skins available to use. There are some F1 and F2 drivers text's kicking around in those forums which you can download and put into the game for offline play-use the search option in the control panel for those. Generally, you will be allowed to practise and do the meetings in a "novice skin" if you've paid your JOLT fee's. Watch out for the skin pack deadlines for any of the formula's that you want to race in as you will need to upload your skin to get it included.

Make sure you are uploading via Internet Explorer. I use Netscape and it's never let me upload a skin on the ukdirt site. I'm not certain if other browsers work but IE will do.

The downloads for F2 HEAT were available from this site: http://www.boddledesign.ltd.uk/dirtyracing...0Heat/index.htm However it is coming up as site not found so not sure what's happening with it. Best bet is for someone to send it to you via MSN, or i suppose you could always spend a few minutes looking for it on google?

Hmm, interesting how you say this Sparky, but on the 29th March 2006 you said this about the new Mildenhall track: "It helps to stop corner cutting but in my opinion, however you may not like it, it does not feel or look like mildo anymore. I would have thought that just sticking a few tyres on the kerb would have stopped it rather than completely changing the inside of the track to be honest. Hi lads, I'm off to my 1st skeggy meeting this Friday to watch the F1's and F2's. Any tips on the best places to stand for the best view so that the mrs wont be bored (she's only going for the seaside day out b4 the meeting starts!!!) - and she can keep up with who's leading ? Any thing else i shoul dknow ie parking issues? burger vans to avoid? etc etc

Welcome to UKDIRT thumper. My advice is to stick a post up on the skin painting section of this forum and ask if someone can do u a skin-i tried when i 1st came into ukdirt and i didnt have a clue-and i still dont have a clue!!!!! There are quite a few talented skin painters out there and several new ones as well who will do one for you if u ask nicely. You'll need to state what mod, the chassis you want to use, roof colour (ones and 2's), your number, colours of the car, any logo's etc
