The speedtest results are showing that you have a 0.5 meg broadband connection (as i understand it anyway) which would suggest that at peak times your connection may drop down lower if your on adsl rather than cable conenction. Allan268 on here pays for a 10 meg connection and has the speedtest results as his signature with the download speed at 9500 (so a conneciton of 9.5 meg) I have recently changed to an upto 8meg conneciton from BT but the best my phone line can handle (amongst other factors aswell) is about 1.5 meg but then it does drop during peak time time of 7pm to 10pm so my download speed is usually around 1400 hence a 1.4 meg connection. Make sure you've got end it all and do all of the suggestions form the ukdirt website about warp and it may help some aswell but, realistically your probs of cars hopping and jumping about may be to do with your broadband speed. Having said all of that i'm sure there's quite a lot of peeps on here that have half a meg connection aswell without any probs.

Not sure what PC you have for the game then...mine is about 4 years old and cost me about £200 so it's the basic of basic ones. I turn down all of the graphics options, sound options etc etc. and it's all fine. I'm sure i've read on this forum b4 that people have had problems with dual core processors and the running of Nascar heat so u might want to have a rummage through the posts on here. If the other cars are jumpy then sounds like u have a warp issue to do with your interent connection.

Hmm, toughy Cid. You could pay it then take them to a small claims court to argue your case and get the money back. Is there an appeal section on the back of the parking notice? I suppose it's all going to depend how far u are willing to take it, but itf it's the company that u work for which have done it to deter people parking there then surely they should do the decent thing and pay it for you or certainly give u a letter saying that it was them that painted the line.

There is a setup guide on the ukdirt website under guides then setup using the sliddy thingy majiggy. Best advice i can give is to keep coming along in jolt for praccy as it's so much different racing against others than the computer. You'll probably find that some drivers will be happy to point out a few handy hints over the coming weeks, especially if you keep turning up for that practise.

Just want to say thanks to everyone that helped me in this thread and on MSN. I've just changed to BT this week with the broadband hub which i've wired in rather than going wireless and doing some praccy in jolt last night i've got a ping between 40-80 rather than in excess of 250 with virgin.net. Fingers crossed, touch wood-it looks like i'll be back to normal in the F2's rather than having to pull out of the way for everyone.

Can't recall seeing many real life F2 skin updates of late unfortunately Timmy. Certainly can't remember anyone doing your british title skin. If there's specific ones you fancy then try putting a post on the skin painting section or if any skin painters would want to do it specifically for yourself then by all means post below or you could PM a couple of them 2 see if they will do it for you. Some of the best real life skin painters out there (IMO) include PB525, MoR137 and Grasser233. You might need to post up a couple of pix of the car (or pix of the 2 blonde models on your car that were used for the stoxbabes calender would be good!!) or links to them so the skin painters can see what chassis and what sponsers you have etc.

No chance i'm afraid trav (as some techie probably proves me wrong!) If it was all coming from the same email account then it'd be easy but i'd probably say that the emails are from hundreds of different addy's, and most of the topic title's are just slightly different to what there selling so won't be classed as junk emails IE- v1agra or superdrugggs market etc etc

Totally agree Dazza. As i've said b4 in similar threads, (speaking from an f2's perspective as that's all i do) the reds and superstars are at that grade generally because of the amount of time they've spent in practise. There are others whom aren't on that list who are some of the quickest guys aswell such as Corny, Micheal etc but quite frankly i think they've been doing ukdirt for long enough they seem to have the setups down to a fine art and can spend just a few minutes tinkering and they'll be superfast. Once again, IMO, Korizin/allan268 has come on leaps and bounds in the past couple of months in the meetings, probably due to he has been seen in jolt a little more in that time on a friday and sunday nights and as such, is a good bet to wear the silver roof next year.

I'm sorry you have felt that way Mcrew. Perhaps see it from another way though - The actions of a few this season could be ruining it for alot of others. Naming no names (hey, i don't care - kane, dannyboy saskilla etc) some people are now subject to lengthy bans or f2 meeting refusals because of there actions. We have also, in our opinion, HAD to take action to not allow novice skins to race in a meeting, much to the annoyance of many drivers including someone like Radduz (purely as an example), whom although an expereienced driver in a different online league, we have not allowed to race until the next skin pack/patch. What u may have found is that when it "appears" you have been on oppo or you've hit some drivers (what they deem to be in an unfair way) then those actions throughout the season from some drivers, appears to have tarnished things for genuine, rule abiding novices such as yourself equating to some questions about your driving standards or maybe even a dose of the bumper.
