big al 515 Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 I propose any driver who does not enter bends overly sideways is immediately regraded at white top.
gary17 Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 what about a meeting with fixed setup that bassicly makes you be unable to go sideays and tyre wear turned up so that if u do get it sideways then ul ruin tyres nand fall off like f1s did? would be intresting to see if racing imporved
Aub Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 i like that idea tbh lets see what we can do for the last meeting of the season..
freew67 Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 Also well done to the Yank (freew) for doing very well on his first meeting im sure you will be climbing up the grades soon. Thanks Aub and UKDirt for having me. I had a blast!
Tosh924 Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 i like that idea tbh lets see what we can do for the last meeting of the season.. what one..... the fixed set ups or the tyre wear...................or both? would be interesting
gary17 Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 both tosh. thin it would be a good thing to try
drumbstick Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 both tosh. thin it would be a good thing to try I am not sure the tyre wear would work, as we never really played with it in testing as it was never a factor.
tommyd Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 WD Lee Faultless drive And WD all other winners especially Hamster Junior and the rest of the Sim-Stox Drivers Sounds good aswell the trye testing and fixed setup would be up for that lol Cheers for the meeting Trav
Kruiz 136 Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 (edited) I'd prefer it was a physics change to be honest so sideways isn't so fast. The problem seems to be too much grip on the rear wheels, go that fast sideways in real life and you just wouldn't get that much traction there'd be too much wheel spin and you'd spin or lose time. A bit sideways is fast but at the moment we are a lot sideways as I'm sure your aware. I don't drive an RCE but in my car you can't put your foot to the floor half way round the corner like I do in rfactor and make it stick. If you can do that in an RCE then I might just buy one but I'd bet you can't. In real life the yokohamas heat up so your down very slightly on grip towards the end of the race and also the first few laps while theyre gaining heat. I'd imagine you have a driver telling you all this at UKSOM though anyway. And Congratulations Lee. Edited October 22, 2009 by Kruiz 136
Aub Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 I wish people would read the posts before writing. It has been said on this thread 2 or 3 times that the physics are going to change and it also said it in the world final programme. The fixed setup idea is 1 for the last meeting of the season that means bugger all to anyone and i for 1 think its a great idea lets see who can drive these then eh!
Kruiz 136 Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 I thought fixed setup idea was instead of changing the physics, sorry I misinterpreted.
