Saloon Stock Cars will once again be back hitting the tracks in 2021. We look forward to some quality payed racing this year and a few adjustments to the league outlined below is just to ensure that will be the case. We will be kicking things off on the 3rd of March at Bradford (Tarmac), running weekly, every Wednesday night at 8.20pm in Discord for an 8.30pm start. Changes to Saloons in 2021: Whites and Yellows will be ran over 12 rounds. The points collected will set the grid for a Whites and Yellows Finale race at the end of the year. If you want / need to upload a SSC tarmac/shale skin, please upload your skins to this thread ANYONE RACING IN A NOVICE SKIN WILL NEED TO SUBMIT A SKIN, ANYONE WHO DOES NOT DO SO MAY HAVE THEIR BOOKINGS REFUSED. WELCOME TO THE 2021 NZ SUPERSTOCK TEAMS CHAMPIONSHIP! "The Greatest Show On Dirt!" MEETING INFO We'll be running from TWO servers, same format as the Teams Bash. For this to work me and kane will need EVERYONE switched on and knowing where they are going please otherwise it will simply run on too late - for the New Year Teams Bash the all-car teams revenge race was on-track before 10.30pm. Firstly, your in-game name must be in the following format: EaglesHGR, RebelsTsjalle, TigersKane etc. You may use any chassis in that team available. Cars can be found under the "Teams" section when in-game. Discord will have specific voice channels for your team, please use them. Blocking, pinning, waiting and not moving is allowed for the meeting. Remember: No oppo, No wall riding, No infielding, No reversing, Two wheels max on the curb. You CAN left turn drivers TOWARDS the infield, but you MUST NOT force a driver ONTO the infield. If we see anyone doing this, you will be punished individually and as a team. MEETING FORMAT Meeting format is that every team will race each other once in the heats - round robin style. The top 4 drivers in each heat will score points 1st: 10 2nd: 5 3rd: 3 4th: 1 Heat Gridding and Calling The team called first in their respective heat will have the inside (ie: Tigers vs Rebels. Tigers would have inside). Each team will have roughly the same number of heats inside and outside. There will be 1 formation lap to get the grid together. We will line up on the home straight. Teams are to grid alternatively on each row. For example for the race: Tigers vs Rebels.. Inside - Outside Tigers Rebels Rebels Tigers Tigers Rebels Rebels Tigers Our newer teams (Lions, Warriors, Kings and Scrappers) will have 4 races on pole Our older teams (Tigers, Panthers, Rebels and Eagles) will have 3 races on pole RACE FORMAT Heats will be ran in six blocks of four teams over two servers. After each block of heats some teams need to swap server so make sure you know where you are going. We will direct as per usual in #Race-Control... Drivers sent to first block of heats at 8.20pm...
