A slight change in the points system has been implemeted for the 2020/21 season and is shown above in purple. Reason: More emphasis on winning the final and brings the maximum points haul for a meeting to a well rounded 250

Superbowl - Current Champion #299 Harley Burns Qualification: Each driver will have 4 qualifying heats in which they are able to score qualifying points for the final. The top 28 points scoring drivers after all the heats are completed will qualify for the final. Championship: The final will be a gridded race, in points scored in the heats throughout the night. The winner of this race will be declared Superbowl Champion after any appeals have been decided. If you are hit into the wall, you must back off the throttle and gain full control. You must not use the wall to steer the car around the turn, nor use it to gain a race advantage. 2020 National Series General Info The Saloon Stock Car National Series Championship will be determined by a Shootout Series and the winner of this series will be declared the 2020 National Series Champion and be able to wear two silver stripes on the center of their roof for 2021. There will be 6 Rounds in the National Series. These are shown on the fixtures. Seeded drivers are World, European, British and National Champions, together with the next 4 available drivers from the National Points table. In the case that a single driver holds multiple titles, additional drivers will be taken from the National Points table. For the National Series rounds the "champions" grade is suspended and the National Series drivers will start as their own grade at the back of the grid. Drivers in this grade will line up in Reverse National Series Points Order for the Final Only (Whoever is leading the shootout will be right at the back). National Series Scoring The National Series is a separate points chart starting from zero. All races will score as per normal National Points. The National Series Finale will score double points. The highest points scorer will be the National Series Champion.
