  1. Hello All, If you would like a late boking for tonight's meeting, then please post below. If you need to cancel your booking, then please post below also. Cheers Johno
  2. Hello Mav, There are two rounds left: Tonight and tomorrow. There wasn't a round on World Final night. That was an oversight on my part as I honestly didnt even realise there was one. I never thought to check as I didn't think we would run one when we had a big extra race on the programme. That said, I clearly wasn't the only one that thought like this. The rules have been there since the start of the year. We intitally planned 18 meetings and then increased it to 20. I must have only changes 1 of the numbers. Current top 4 525 - 97 172 - 96 199 - 94 515 - 93 I am not going to lie to you, I have not as good a job as I have been doing and for that I can only apologise. Cheers Johno
  3. Hello Guys, I have updated the following thus far: - National Points - World of Shale Points - Tarmac Masters Points - GNC Championship - Results I will update the other thing either later tonight or tomorrow late in the evening. Cheers Johno
  4. Hello Mav, I am afraid a combination of a new job and a lot of stock meetings has meant that I have not kept the points up to date publically. I have of course updated for the grids. I was going to do it this weekend but I then went home without my memory stick. I will try and get it done tomorrow (no guarantees though as I will be racing in the F2 World Final) or Wednesday. Cheers Johno
  5. Hello All, First of all, thanks to everyone that raced in tonight's meeting. The racing was enjoyable and hard fought throughout the night. Thanks very much to Hooty who stewarded the races for us. Congratulations to DanSkin for winning the meeting final. Gary just pipped him to becoming the top points scorer after 3 heat wins and a grand national win. 8. Hello All, First of all, thanks to everyone that took part in tonight’s meeting. It was great to see a healthy turnout of cars on UK Dirt F1’s biggest night of the season. Thanks must first of all go to everyone who helped me out during the meeting which meant that it finished at the time which we aimed for. So thank you to the stewards and the Admin Team. Onto the meeting, and it is a big congratulations to the new World Champion Mike #315. I am not 100% sure how the race went but when he passed me, he had DanSkin for company so I assume it was a pretty interesting race. Onto the meeting itself, and it is congratulations to Green for taking the meeting final. 9. Hello All, Welcome to the biggest night on the UK Dirt F1 calendar: THE 2011 CHAMPIONSHIP OF THE WORLD! VERY IMPORTANT - PLEASE NOTE!! Tonight’s meeting could see a lot of races, and once the Consolation Semi Final and World Final are over, it could well be after 9pm. So with this in mind, we are going to be very strict on times again tonight to make sure that we get through the full quota of races. So we will wait for drivers for 3 minutes and there will only be 1 restart per race. PRACTISE Both servers are open for practice tonight. Should one be too full then feel free to hop into the other one. Both servers will be shut down at 8:20pm so that the meeting can start promptly on time. THE FORMAT - CONSOLATION SEMI FINAL – 16 Laps – TOP 4 TO THE WORLD FINAL - ***2011 UK DIRT F1 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP*** - HEAT 1 and 2 - HEAT 3 and 4 - CONSOLATION - FINAL - GN 1 - GN 2 CONSOLATION SEMI FINAL GRID ROW 1: 465 - 130 ROW 2: 285 - 256 ROW 3: 231 - 31 ROW 4: 3 *******2 GRADE GAPS****** ROW 5: 233 - 188 WORLD FINAL GRID ROW 1: 8 – 315 ROW 2: 137 – 1 ROW 3: 151 – 115 ROW 4: 236 – 39 ROW 5: 90 – 221 ROW 6: 380 – 41 ROW 7: 391 – 262 ROW 8: 290 – 527 ROW 9: 300 – 365 ROW 10: 525 – 560 ROW 11: CSF1 – CSF2 ROW 12: CSF3 – CSF4 HEAT GRIDS The heat grids will be given out in chat after the World Final. This is so that I can see who wants to stay and who wants to leave and make sure that the heat grids are as even as possible. SERVER INFORMATION Due to the number of drivers taking part in the meeting tonight, we will be using 2 servers and running the meeting from MiRC chat. Cheers Johno
  10. Tosh has also confirm acrossed MSN so therefore all the World Finalists are booked in to race. This means that there will be 4 spots available from the Consolation Semi Final. Cheers Johno
  11. Cool. I think we have a full grid then Hooty Added
  12. World Final Bookings. Tosh (8) and Dazza (290) are the only drivers not booked in for the World Final. I am 99% sure Tosh is racing because he asked me about lap times last night. With the way the preview is worded, I think Dazza will also be there. Cheers Johno
  13. Hello All, If you wish to recieve a late booking for the World Final meeting at Northampton then you can do so on this thread. I will close bookings for the World Final and Consolation Semi Final races at 8pm. Cheers Johno edit: meant to type 8pm so I can finalise grids.
  14. I can confirm that the reason we have done this is for the reasons outlined above. Whilst there are 10 qualifiers that would normally be elligible, in our experience not all 10 drivers turn up. Don't forget that there is also a chance that not all of the World Finalists will turn up as well. So with this is mind, we hav gone down the lines of which we have done for the past 3 years and given everyone chance to take part so that the Consolation Semi Final remains a race and we have enough drivers to give us a full grid of 24 for the World Final. Cheers Johno
  15. Hello All, Just to confirm, a preview will be available tomorrow night ahead of the biggest night of the year. Cheers Johno
  16. ok cheers mate. is there any formulas that run on sundays or mondays? F2's run on a Monday, and sometimes race on Sundays too. They are superb to race. Certainly the meetings that I have raced at just recently have had some fantastic racing. Cheers Johno
  17. Hello All, I will try and clear a few things up for you that have been brought up on this thread. CraigCharles: This was a difficult one. All year we have looked at the suitability for drivers going up to the next grade. Now when you ake away his score from white, his average is not quite as good and thus put him on the border line. Unfortunately, last night can have no bearing on the outcome as that is in another grading period. He has had 3 single figure scres from yellow though as well. Travel: You were indeed elligible for a downgrade, however, out of the 5 meetings that you raced in, you completed the heats in 3 of those meetings. With the points being heavily weighted on the Final and Grand National we thought this could effect the average overall. When you then take into account that of the 2 meetings you completed, you won the final at one, it then became a tricky decision over what to do with you. I can confirm that there are a few people that we are monitoring over the coming grading period for both upgrades and downgrades, but it is quite difficult to try and maintain balance within the grades also. Unfortunately, we can't always get it right in terms of grades but I can assure you we try our best. I am always willing to answer any queries that people may have and hopefully I have answered the queries suitably. If you would ever like clarification on your grade, please get in touch with me and I will outline our thinking. Cheers Johno
