  1. Here is the car970.tex - I can't remember which pack I put it in tbh. [attachmentid=14090] car970.zip
  2. But very very good of you to have the patience to do them m8. As someone who puts together the skin packs (1/2 a month during the season) the reason that I don't do drivers texts is that new drivers come in and existing drivers change chassis pretty often, so it would require a new drivers text every time. - The 100 car limit means you'd have to make a decision on who to put in and leave out (its quite a big closed club). - Also the smallest typo or mistake could potentially knacker EVERYONES game, and you'd have to then release a fix to sort it. - As has been pointed out UK Dirt is a game for racing on line - if you want an offline game with a drivers text get the Heat versions. Besides how 'realistic' and exciting is it going to be for you racing offline against me, Kendo, Pskyo or Kruiz? I didn't realise I was that famous. - You've been a member on this forum since August 2005, all 4 of your posts have got a response that explained how you could sort this 'problem'. Why haven't you managed to figure out how to alter the drivers text yourself? We're not all not all hyper intelligent super beings, (well I am, not sure about the rest of them). This is the largest and best online league in Britain/ Europe (World?) its open to ANYONE who wants to join and contribute towards the hire of the JOLT servers. Its the league and the people in it that make the game not vice versa. Instead of sitting on the sidelines playing with yourself why not get involved and see how good it is? Sorry if this sounds sarky but frankly you started it.
  3. I'd be up for it again. Like Mav 10am start suited my general day of dossing in the office well.
  4. Sounds like you need a drivers text in the bangers game. This will give you the other cars from the skin packs you have downloaded. Not sure where you can get this from, as I don't do bangers, try looking on the bangers forum.
  5. Being born in St. Austell in Cornwall, I naturally support Man Utd. I know this make me look like some kind of plastic glory hunter, but living in St. Austell the nearest league team is Plymouth Argyle 48 miles away and frankly I have as much in common with Salford folk as I do Plymouthians (if that what they are called?). I actually played, very badly, for St. Austell town side, so I feel entitled to support who I like. I used to go up to Old Trafford 2/3 times a season with my dad, leaving at 5.00am and getting home at midnight. I also went to uni in Manchester so I could watch United. They were rubbish when I got there in 1989. Having been among the 'Fergie out' chanters before the 3rd round of the Cup against Forrest, I still wonder what would have happened if Mark Robins hadn't pulled his chestnuts out of the fire. After that the red nosed whisky fiend improved my life in sooo many ways. I've been spat at by Villa fans, dodged bricks thrown by 12 year old scousers, and had a knife waved at me by a Chelsea fan at Wembley in the '94 Cup Final. And they won quite a lot as well. Nowadays I sit at home in the warm watching on Sky, if I wanted to wade ankle deep in wee and have weird people grunt at me I'll go to Barford. London Allstar, shut up you girl. You missed the bit about the blokes kissing each other, by the way. Go somewhere else and talk about make up. My missus had a better set of reasons why football is rubbish than you, then we went to the Nou Camp last year, and she saw the point. Try going to a real game, its much better than playing with your Bratz hair salon toys at home.
  6. There isn't an actual rule about this on the F2 rules page of the UK Dirt website, this is on the F1 rules - Designs closely based on real life F1 or F2 cars are not allowed, unless raced by the driver in question (or mechanic thereof). The F2 League used Brisca Heat F2 allowing people to use the real life skins that were in it till 2003 I think, when UK Dirt F2 was released. I think the F1 rule has become regarded as standard, for the reason that Dennis has said. I haven't taken a rule not allowing real life skin copies off, so I'm guessing it was never there, Michael or Spike may be better able to advise though. Trav had a brilliant copy of the Farrell battenbuilt done by Dragon before I came into admin. I believe Trav has done some meching for Timmy so it fits the criteria. No you can't have this one Marty, unless you have mech'd for Moodie.
  7. Its a problem with the UK Dirt site, post the zipped up skin in the relevent forum and it can be picked up from there.
  8. Good luck m8, hope it all goes well for you. You started around the same time as me, and have done almost as many F2 meetings, and jolt praccy, we've always had good races. Be odd not seeing you every week, hope to see you in there again once your settled.
  9. Not feeling confident about retaining your British Championship then? Nice skin though
  10. That is taken from the admin forum That is from the Disciplinary Thread. 1 load up and a ban, this will be the 3rd action against you for swearing.
  11. This ban is purely for your swearing AGAIN. Banger Admin would look at any replays and judge what you did on track and apply a further mod related ban if necessary. This is taken from the General Rules, We will not tolerate swearing or abuse of others for any reason. Disciplinary matters are as follows: Swearing in general - One week ban all mods. Swearing aimed directly at another driver - Two weeks ban all mods. This is your 3rd ban for swearing, 1 of which was increased because you did it again before the ban was served, so 4 incidents, and all are for swearing and abusing other drivers or admin members. It was agreed by all admin that you should get 3 months and its in line with the 6 weeks you served (and didn't appeal against) for the last bout of swearing. Get a grip of your self and try thinking before you type.
  12. I think we can all say we know a bit more about Mr Batten now. Thread Closed.
  13. Was it given to you in a zip file? Did you unzip it?
  14. I moved this post from the F2 forum, hopefully someone can help this lad out?
  15. Try looking Here I'm pretty sure that will sort you out. The odd chassis may have changed
  16. I'll put £10 in , can you pm the address to send cheque to please?
  17. Blimey! the RDC semi meeting preview is almost as long as our one in the F2 forum Be interesting to see how many of the F2 semi finalists hang around after their races, could be a sparse consi.
  18. If you could please, I find it very difficult to tell when your being saracastic or ill informed. Split personality etc...
  19. I don't know about the English Open specifically, but Moodie won the GNC at Bristol last year and Arena the year before, so not like its unheard of.
  20. I don't see why Liverpool can't be added into the preliminary rounds of the CL if they win. It would give some Lithuanian amateurs a better crowd than a visit from Total Network Solutions or whoever Wales will be sending. It doesn't really matter because Chelsea are going to buy every male in the Northern Hemisphere under the age of 40 during the close season. My agent has got me a sweet deal as beanie hat holder for the fitness coach. Same as always, the best team won, If Robben and Duff had been fit all season they would have probably won the CL and FA cup as well. If Cech, Terry, Lampard or Makalele had missed 20 games between them they may have messed it up. As United fan the most depressing season since Ralphie Milne and Viv Anderson were out there scuffing it about. Fergie doesn't know his best team, Keane, Scholes and Giggs are too old, Ferdinand won't push himself and the rest of the defence give away a chance each a game. Ronaldo makes me want to turn the telly off (I'm real committed), why can't he cross? why can't he shoot to the far post? why does he run like a pigeon with a stick up his ass? Rooney is the only bright spot, albeit an incoherent grunter of a bright spot, who Fergie plays on the wing. The way forward is Argentinian football 3am on Channel 5, pidgin English commentators (but still better than Motson) loads of fouls, great hair 70s hair and beards.
