Try installing it again, if it is working it will only cache files with the extension "trk", "res", "car", "sfx", "lng", "def" so if any other files types are showing as cached then the patch has not installed properly.

If you are using the mod launcher it may be pointing at the wrong place.

Looks like you have installed to the wrong place, should be in C:\Program Files\Hasbro Interactive\NASCAR Heat You have it in "My Documents"

Hi Try hitting ctrl/alt/delete during startup and see if anything is using all the processor. Changing the registry can cause problems but a registry cleaner I have used in the past can be found here It makes a backup before it changes anything so "should" be reversable.

I would think it has not been saved as 24bit uncompressed.

Try fsautostart I find it better than enditall.

If you have a working mod paste the ui.res into the run folder then install bangers,that way the menu screens and music will be the banger ones.

If you have a working mod copy the ui.res from that and either put it in your banger folder but that will give you working bangers but with the wrong loading screens and music or put it in your run folder and reinstall the bangers and it should work normally.

Are you still running on the game install for the tft screen? it may be that the old monitor will not run at the screen resolution set. For the hard drive have you tried running the disc checking from the properties/tools of the hard drive ? this may reset the auto checking.

1.5a is a fair bit older than 1.72 patch we use now.

Yep, The hotkey poller checks to see if you push any preset hotkeys to change the graphics setttings without entering the control panel.

Try here for the real skins. If you have a working F1 mod, copy the ui.res from the F1 folder into the run folder,then install the F2,this should give you proper f2 menu screens and music.
