We've had BT, AOL, Tiscali, and now we are on Virgin. Most internet comes down your phone line, and we used to live a long way from our nearest exchange, meaning we were limited to around 1 meg no matter how much we were suposed to get. Virgin internet comes down a cable threw your wall, and you get a lot closer to what you should be getting than other phone line types (in my experance anyway) We pay for 4 meg, and last check we were getting around 3.9 which is fine for me. A digital fiber optic connection is better than using 100 year old analoge phone line technology. Problem is Virgin is basicly old NTL, which means you speak to people in Asia the customer service is crap

You should be very careful when turning off internet security, unless your offline of course. If you ever do turn it off, at least make sure you have a Firewall still active and run scan after. Plus make sure all important files are backed up and safe.

Hello everyone. I got a Samsung widescreen moniter. NASCAR Heat doens't support Widescreen resolutions. Which means that when I play any of the mods it takes the normal image and stretches it out to fill the screen. Distorting the image. I've been searching for answers on the net but not much luck. One site said to tick the box in the screenshot below, but it made no difference. [attachmentid=22219] Has anyone had similar problems? or have any ideas what to do? Any help much appriciated, or I'll have to swap my monitors over every Tuesday night

The airline industry, the USA, China and India produces massive amounts of CO2, the difference people in the UK driving SUV's makes is absolutely minute, its not worth bothering about. Technically we are still in an ice age (as there is ice at the polls) Due to the way the earth rotates around the sun through varying cycles through out time ice ages come and go, yes, the ice may be melting faster then in the earths recent history, but in however many thousand years time most of the UK will be under tons of ice again! The government needs lots of money to run the country cause its in trouble, such as the NHS and people scrounging off the government like jobless people and immagrants. The easy way to get more money is to increase the the price of petrol, but they butter it up by saying "its to reduce emmisions for the planet" Bull s**t

Petrol prices are never gonna drop, and petitions/protests don't matter a toss to the governemnt, after all, look how many protested against the war and Toney Blair still went full steam ahead. The best way to get action is to do somthing, like the fuel blockades of 2000, that made a difference, even if only for a short while, plus it was somthing interesting on the news!! lol

May be a stupid question but not if he thought there may be a tunnel or bridge?
