    PC start up.

I just changed over from my Kate Moss thin, LCD, all singing and dancing monitor to the wardrobe sized thing off my old pc and it works fine. And yes, the sodding warranty has run out Guess I know whats going to be on my Xmas list to Santa this year.....
  4. My pc either starts up fine, or it plays up, and the actual tower/ box goes through the proper motions of running, but the monitor just 'flicks' on and off. When it does this, you can see the desktop, but the screen continaly 'flicks' between being black like when it is switched off and the desktop when on. Ive just opened the tower up and removed a cricket ball sized clump of fur/dust/crud and blown the box out for good measure and it all started fine Oh and it does this for a while, then runs like normal for a few days, then ity plays up again. Has anyone else had this problem?
  5. Get well soon hampster, top gear will be a far duller place without those gleaming pearly whites.
  6. Happy Birthday Kev! I hope you have a good one.
  7. You need to use the selection then magic wand tool to outline Homie, then cut or copy homie, minimise the original image and then left click, then save the image as a new one. That should give you Homer on no background. Simply select and out line him on the new image and save the image once again, then the next time you open the image up, hes already selected to be copied onto whatever you want. The problem Ive found is that any images you save from say Google search, unless it is just the 'pure' image/outline, will nearly always have a coloured background that you will have to cut off
  8. I use PSP, and have created myself a folder dedicated to just decals. When I use the magic wand or select tool to copy a decal, I always save the decal with the cut/copy dotted outline over/around the decal. That way the next time you wish to use the decal, the outline is always ready to use, rather than spending ages highlighting the area that you want.

    RENAULT4

I just downloaded and installed this. Its much worse than the Anglia...its excellent! Nice one Rodder There should be a class for this sort of thing, as they are hilariously good fun.
  10. Passed my test in 1987, my first car was a Talbot Sunbeam. That died when a little old lady kindly pulled out and T-boned me at a junction. Since then had the usual array of MK1, 2, 3 and 4 escorts, Mk 3, 4 and 5 'tinas, MK2 grannies, MK3 capris, mk2 trummies plus loads of other bilge. Most of it all got raced or wrecked in some form or another Now own one of them rice burning Impreza turbos, well it is supposed to be the family car.... and the missus has one of them roller-skate Ford KA things.
  11. We live about 9 miles away from what used to be the old Newton Abbot race track, and because of the location of Newton Abbot in the Teign valley, we used to be able to hear the racing as if it was just around the corner, providing the wind was blowing in the right direction. It used to be 'kin excellent! The problem is that people just dont think when they buy new properties/move and they expect that the lives of those around them must fit in with the way that they want to live their boring, sedate, retired, waiting to die lives. And the problem is far worse now because of the way that people will complain about any and every thing these days. Our works is located on our towns Industrial estate, or ' business park' as all the posh tits that have moved into the area like to call it. We used to get frequent telephone call from these posh, soon to be pushing up daisy, morons complaining and asking us if we could make less noise whilst we use our large gang saw to cut stone slabs and blocks! This is bearing in mind that this type of business has been operating on this very same site since 1965, and before any of the ruddy houses where built in the area. In the end we got so fed up with complaints from the living dead across the road, that we contacted the local council ( who had also recieved the same amount of complaints as us), who then in turn wrote back to these posh, doddery old penis heads, and politely told them that if they wanted less noise, then prehaps they should not have bought properties situated next to an area that was of industrial use.
  12. Proly the person that ' created' 'it'.
  13. Seeing that a week never goes by without somebody asking for the Nissan Micra hearse template or the Dyson stretched 6 door limo hoover template, would it be a good idea to have a sticky thread where the new various templates could be posted up as, and when, they are produced and released? It would save, in the long run, haveing countless threads requesting the various templates.
  14. Cheers for the template Andy, and thanks for the info on the coupe Steve, maybe if you nag the creator enough, he may get fed up and release it?
  15. Theres a Granada Coupe limo? If someone would be kind enough to post up the temp for that and the Snipe hearse I would be grateful.
  16. I know it sounds silly, but is something getting hot in your pc from continual jolt use? Are those little cooling fans working OK inside your pc?

  23. For the ' bits' you just have to choose the bits layer, then individualy airbrush the bit that you want, the colour that you want it. I cant help with the missing layers though, have you tried to downloading the template again?
  24. Very impressive! Great work Nick.
