Why? Not everybody on here is a banger fan. I bet there's a lot of people who don't know what it stands for.

I can't see a point in debating it here, solicitors ARE getting involved, so lets leave it for them to decide eh?

Ah so it was you who i got caught up with, i ended up facing the wrong way being collected by the pack aswell which pretty much ended my race right there. Now, i've got a question, in that situation where i was i think dead last and the leaders were easily half a lap ahead if not more, do you continue to go round potentially getting in the leaders way or is it better to pull off? I know i didnt have a hells hope in catching the guys infront as i was slow tonight but i thought it would be worth getting the practice in as atm i need racing practice (ie getting punted) rather than lap practice. Finally Well done to Aub and thankyou to those who ran the meting Well I carried on in the hope I might claw my way back to the top 10 if there were enough incidents, but with the car quite badly damaged I just stayed wide whenever I could to let the leaders through. Having said that it didn't matter anyway because of course bad luck struck again when I was close to the top 10 and I was collected in another pile up, I gave up on the last few laps, when Hutch spins into you, you know your lucks out!

WD Aub and thanks to Kev & Dan for running the meeting. Bad luck in all but one heat set the tone for my night really. I Thought I'd finally got some luck when the grid for the final was set being inside row 4, I thought I stood a decent chance of a good position from there but the bad luck streak continued as I was spun turn one then hammered down the back straight by every other oncoming car. I can't see it getting much better for next week really at what is my least favourite track, (I'd rather it were Sheffield!) but I'll see you there anyway lol. Kruiz

1) The law isn't fixed, it is adjusted to accomodate all types of interpretations. 2) I believe ebay/paypal accounts have been hacked. 3) I seem to remember the forum and website were deleted.

I can't believe someone would spend their free time to intentionally hack into and ruin the enjoyment of others. How sad these people are, over what it is just a game for us to all enjoy. I'm gutted to hear that you are leaving us MC although totally understand. It really is getting that way that newer members with skills to hack etc are using them to spoil it for everyone and its slowly driving away the most committed and long time members of UKDirt.

Well done guys, I'm personally shocked that those guys were involved in this, shame on you. In reply to Courty's post, nope not a rich man, a convicted one perhaps.

I'll help in any way possible..

I thought it was really fun when I had it installed a few years ago, the OTT damage makes up for it being graphically poor. Its a shame this can't be run online, as I would definately give it a shot.

Unpack the file so you can extract the folder within. Its like winzip.

Nice pics mate, especially like the Ipswich track shot (it was certainly a magnificent place, if not the best racing) and 391 on the chequered flooring.

Thanks for running the meeting Kev Well done Hutch During practise I was beginning to wonder if you had borrowed Moodies' carb, being over a tenth faster than MoR, Dazza and I, but I made just one adjustment to my setup before the meeting and it took almost a tenth off my times, so maybe its possible after all lol. I am very happy with 4th place in the World Final having come from almost the very back row. I knew that to have any chance of getting near the front runners I'd have to rely on some luck of them hitting each other and slowing each other down and a clean break into the top 10 on the first lap avoiding a big pile up - unfortunately neither happened but I was successful in spinning myself out as I got pushed up a kurb and the ffb died. After that I had my work cut out getting to the front so just gave it my all and put the bumper in as hard as I could, ended up getting to about 5th or 6th and had a good battle with a few drivers who can't now remember who they were, Iron was certainly one though, but by then it was about lap 22 and the top 3 were long gone. I got a solid 3rd in the final after getting up to 4th I saw 233, 8 and 288 all bunched up, I had two choices, either go for it and try and hit them out the way but risk the repercussions or wait and see if a gap opens up. I knew that if I waited too long though 233 was pulling away. Sure enough no gap opened up and I battled Iron for position but Tosh and Grasser had already got away. A great drive from Grasser though and a very well deserved and overdue victory. The National was a bit of a disaster really with bumpers going in hard I was on the end one or two and damaged car so could only scrape into the top 10 but can't complain with nearly 50 points at one of my weaker tracks. Hopefully see you all in two weeks time where I and many others will be, I'm sure, trying their hardest to stop Hutch taking the British too! See you there. Cheers Kruiz

I probably won't be able to tell you anything you won't have thought of already, but have you tried different graphic card drivers? Has the PC changed since the last time you raced?
-
Really? How do they do that? Surely that would only happen if the engines are tuned to within an inch of their life like dragsters. But seeing as the rules are put in place to stop high tuning on such high scales I'd be interested to know what they change to mske them last one race only?
