  1. Thats superb mate, keep up the good work!
  2. If you can render a faldingt chassis send me pm and will upload the tga. Cheers Kruiz
  3. Thnks munster that seems to have solved it. And thanks to everyone else who tried to help me in this thread your efforts are appreciated. Instead of having all chassis in one rae i have now got 2 drivers.txt and i just swap them round, each having about 15 chassis in them.
  4. That might be right as at the moment i have them all in one race so maybe try only using half the cars.
  5. I have just found a file called northampton.gar so i have deleted it and i have tried racing at hednesford. I tried it again and got a new crash log. 47.36.670: ====================================================================== 47.36.670: Sep 6 2002 12:09:31 N W32 M6 R senor_b 47.36.670: ====================================================================== 47.36.670: mem: p/s/t t/a 1022M/606M 2459M/1967M 2047M/2010M 47.36.686: JoyBegin 47.36.686: data directory: C:\\Hasbro Interactive\NASCAR Heat\Data\ 47.36.686: Config Dir: C:\Program Files\Hasbro Interactive\NASCAR Heat\ 47.36.686: Add-on tracks dir: "C:\Program Files\Hasbro Interactive\NASCAR Heat\tracks\" 47.36.686: mod: trying mod "ukdirtf1"...47.36.686: mod.cfg found ok. 47.36.686: mod: Config Dir override: C:\Program Files\Hasbro Interactive\NASCAR Heat\ukdirtf1\ 47.36.686: Running on WinNT version 5.0:2195 47.52.592: ddraw: created directdraw with ati2dvag.dll (RADEON X300 Series) 47.52.592: ddraw: version 0.0.0.0 47.53.936: vid: 64 meg card (reported:127.585938) 47.53.936: vid: using AGP textures (257), total: 64 47.53.967: vid: triple buffer on 47.54.014: texture: supports compressed solid texture 47.54.186: mr: 3D performance: 1159 MPix/sec, 15416 KTris/sec 47.54.186: mr: fill rate is AWESOME, poly rate is AWESOME, machine speed is 0 47.54.358: bink(intro.bik): open failed (Error opening file.) 47.54.374: using sound mixer Sound 47.54.608: Using user driver file 48.07.374: name = *Northampton.trk/trkshot.img, image = 15a5004 48.10.186: name = *Northampton.trk/trkshot.img, image = 15a5004 48.12.952: name = *Hednesford.trk/trkshot.img, image = 15a5004 48.14.780: unloading ui: 45.4 MB 48.14.811: SCO file !exists or !legit; creating empty one 48.14.811: unloaded ui: 45.6 MB 48.16.702: loaded race: 99.1 MB 48.16.811: ghost: Loading trackline *Hednesford.trk/Hednesford.gcf (JayW35) [15.480743 sec] 48.16.811: setting driving video mode = 3 48.17.358: vid: triple buffer on 48.17.436: bpp: Track track.bpp should be rebuilt "release" 48.17.467: records: using actual track length: 625.600000 m 48.17.467: skill_range_fudge! 48.17.499: Warning: using default pit stall, which is inappropriate. 48.17.577: Can't open C:\Program Files\Hasbro Interactive\NASCAR Heat\ukdirtf1\Setups\Hednesford.gar 48.17.577: paintjobs: ~Murray.tex does not exist 48.17.577: paintjobs: ~Fwjs.tex does not exist 48.17.577: paintjobs: ~Briscae.tex does not exist 48.17.577: paintjobs: ~Lundys.tex does not exist 48.17.577: paintjobs: ~Lundy.tex does not exist 48.17.577: paintjobs: ~Wittst.tex does not exist 48.17.577: paintjobs: ~Asmith.tex does not exist 48.17.577: paintjobs: ~Witts.tex does not exist 48.17.577: paintjobs: ~MozW.tex does not exist 48.17.577: paintjobs: ~Houghton.tex does not exist 48.17.577: paintjobs: ~Speakt.tex does not exist 48.17.577: paintjobs: ~MozS.tex does not exist 48.17.577: paintjobs: ~Moz.tex does not exist 48.17.577: paintjobs: ~Faldings.tex does not exist 48.17.577: paintjobs: ~Whorton.tex does not exist 48.17.577: paintjobs: ~Elwellt.tex does not exist 48.17.577: paintjobs: ~Fwjt.tex does not exist 48.17.577: paintjobs: ~Fwj2000s.tex does not exist 48.17.577: paintjobs: ~Db515.tex does not exist 48.17.577: paintjobs: ~Brisca.tex does not exist 48.17.577: paintjobs: ~Dblundy.tex does not exist 48.17.608: paintjobs: ~Charger.tex does not exist 48.17.608: paintjobs: ~Wobbes.tex does not exist 48.17.608: paintjobs: ~Kruiz 136.tex does not exist 48.17.608: paintjobs: ~Murray.tex does not exist 48.17.655: ====================================================================== 48.17.655: () Panic: file.cpp: Can't alloc file "C:\Program Files\Hasbro Interactive\NASCAR Heat\ukdirtf1\car998.tex", increase MAX_FILES 48.17.655: ====================================================================== 48.17.670: except: dec: exe 6b06c38 48.17.670: NON-DEBUG 48.17.670: ( 00419510 , none , my_handler ) 48.17.670: ( 004194A0 , EXCEPTION_BREAKPOINT , ?   6. Where can i get r factor from?
  7. Its a tga file that comes with the superstox heat download.
  8. Thats the turn where sit, next to trackside view.
  9. Only setup that is loaded is 'advanced' and i have just reinstalled patch 1.72e and i got the same crash log. Before i got the problem i put a car for every chassis in the game so when making a skin i can view all the chassis is that the problem or related to it, do you think?
  10. If nobody else has taken it up i will do it for mate. Any preferences on chassis, colour, sponsors, numbers etc.?
  11. They can be very expensive but you don't need the newest versions, i use photoshop 6 which does the job and they aren't really all that different from each other. Although versions beyond version 6 are quite basic.
  12. lol!!! Had me worried for a second there when i read the topic title!
  13. there isn't a northampton.gar file, only advanced and default, i don't have a setup for NIR.
  14. Just about to ask for a template. lol
  15. Sorry, i thought i had included it! 38.17.015: ====================================================================== 38.17.015: Sep 6 2002 12:09:31 N W32 M6 R senor_b 38.17.015: ====================================================================== 38.17.015: mem: p/s/t t/a 1022M/646M 2459M/2095M 2047M/2010M 38.17.031: JoyBegin 38.17.031: data directory: C:\\Hasbro Interactive\NASCAR Heat\Data\ 38.17.031: Config Dir: C:\Program Files\Hasbro Interactive\NASCAR Heat\ 38.17.031: Add-on tracks dir: "C:\Program Files\Hasbro Interactive\NASCAR Heat\tracks\" 38.17.031: mod: trying mod "ukdirtf1"...38.17.031: mod.cfg found ok. 38.17.031: mod: Config Dir override: C:\Program Files\Hasbro Interactive\NASCAR Heat\ukdirtf1\ 38.17.031: Running on WinNT version 5.0:2195 38.33.078: ddraw: created directdraw with ati2dvag.dll (RADEON X300 Series) 38.33.078: ddraw: version 0.0.0.0 38.34.703: vid: 64 meg card (reported:127.585938) 38.34.906: vid: using AGP textures (257), total: 64 38.34.953: vid: triple buffer on 38.34.984: texture: supports compressed solid texture 38.35.140: mr: 3D performance: 1159 MPix/sec, 15546 KTris/sec 38.35.140: mr: fill rate is AWESOME, poly rate is AWESOME, machine speed is 0 38.35.312: bink(intro.bik): open failed (Error opening file.) 38.35.328: using sound mixer Sound 38.35.578: Using user driver file 38.56.656: refresh: detail_level = 1 39.07.437: refresh: detail_level = 4 41.16.906: name = *Northampton.trk/trkshot.img, image = 15ff034 42.23.921: unloading ui: 46.3 MB 42.23.968: unloaded ui: 46.5 MB 42.25.625: loaded race: 101.0 MB 42.25.812: ghost: Loading trackline *Northampton.trk/Northampton.gcf (Moz 55) [14.016201 sec] 42.25.875: setting driving video mode = 3 42.26.421: vid: triple buffer on 42.26.468: bpp: Track track.bpp should be rebuilt "release" 42.26.484: records: using actual track length: 400.000000 m 42.26.484: skill_range_fudge! 42.26.500: Warning: using default pit stall, which is inappropriate. 42.26.609: ====================================================================== 42.26.609: () Panic: file.cpp: Can't alloc file "C:\Program Files\Hasbro Interactive\NASCAR Heat\ukdirtf1\Setups\Northampton.gar", increase MAX_FILES 42.26.609: ====================================================================== 42.26.640: except: dec: exe 6b06c38 42.26.640: NON-DEBUG 42.26.640: ( 00419510 , none , my_handler ) 42.26.640: ( 004194A0 , EXCEPTION_BREAKPOINT , ?   16. Looking good, nice damage too.
  17. Anybody know what is wring with my game? It crashes when i click 'race'
  18. Personally i stand on the far turn which is turn 3 & 4. I sit right up against the fence, because the track and where you can sit is very close it is thrilling to see them come flying down the straight towards you. I have camping chairs that we sit on otherwise you will have to sit a little further back on big tyres. I hope it doesn't rain, as there is very little shelter and where there is shelter it is bad for seeing. It is free parking. Anything else you need to know? Hope this helps, Kruiz
  19. If i were to get one of these programs, if i transferred some work i have done in photoshop and printed it as a format in one of these programs would the printing quality be better?
  20. Thanks for all that dragon it has given me a lot to think about with the different options. I had my setting on crisp by the way. Out of interest because i haven't got the above mentioned programs at the moment, would image ready be any better for printing as that is the only other adobe program i have got or should i just try it? Cheers Kruiz
  21. I have tried all that quality stuff and it just makes the picture darker so i keep it on automatic. What does the dpi setting do? Just to give you an idea of what i'm trying to print: [attachmentid=5475] The picture comes out o.k most of the time it just the text that comes out with pixelated edges. Does anyone know how to give the text smooth edges? EDIT: The picture shown is a file not a print out.
  22. No most the things i print arn't saved at all. And i print 'to fit media', but that usually makes it go smaller to fit on a piece of A4. Is there anything in the print options i need to change?
  23. I have noticed that sparky, its unfortunate as the cars have been painted really well. I have looked through the files but they all appear to be set on the max softness and i don't have a clue how to respolve them riding over the top of other cars.
  24. I have succesfully added the extra cars but they don't crash up as easily, is there anyway to make them softer?
  25. I found it difficult to install new cars and tracks never mind make them!
