Do rookies Knobby. I go well at Wimbo and Arena, not so great at Ringwood Standlake or Arlington, Bovvy and Fleet were good for getting around back in the day.

UPDATE: The Rover proved to be a good motor, netting 2nd in Arena's Sunday Segto Final (cheesy trophy waving photo is on RTS website!) and was still running strong so we loaded her up and drove straight down to Wimbledon for that evenings figure of 8 bash. Gentle persuasion overcame Ray Woods initial refusal to let me race, he correctly identified Arena mud on the motor and had a "You dared to race elsewhere!" wobbly . I got out for the second race and the final, where a broken steering column finally ended a long and very enjoyable day. The rover was still running strong (rated bilge imo) back at the yard despite A,B and C pillars all showing signs of wear , but the steering damage was terminal. The Maestro is now built, with bolts and washers holding shut door frames and boot, not much difference in strengh to welding IMO, these Spedeworth "Rookie" rules let us build fairly strong motors these days with rads fanned up and hidden at the back of the engine bay. Next outing mid march.
  12. my new pc came qith a half decent graphics card that i replaced, i'll dig it out and let you know what it is.
  13. GTA 4 is a bitch, i'm running a XFX9600 nvidia card with 4gb of memory and dual core processors and gta4 still wants to boot me online and runs glitchy etc, buy the best card you can and increase yr ddr too
  14. Well worth a watch for awesome driving on very wet slippery roads, a lot of the roads they're on are identical to white roads in the uk, the speeds they go down them are mindblowing, Loeb is especially scary.

  21. Gta 4 didn't support Logitech controllers until patch 1 installed them by default, now patch 2 has arrived and switched them off again unless; "Direct input device support is now disabled by default and can only be enabled with the commandline: "-usedirectinput" " So how and where on my Vista 32bit system do i do that then?

The maesto is hilarious, 70k, 1 owner, 3 speed auto.... Pulling away is best achieved by selecting neutral, revving the tits off it and engaging drive I noticed the carpets were springy, lifted them and found an inch thick layer of very wet newspaper all round under which the floor is painted white, so i'll probably dissappear in a cloud of paste and powder on the first hit. The sunny is rotten on the sills in front of the rear wheel arches, otherwise she's rock solid. And yes that is a wingless and now sold on ebay for £56 minor 1000 under wraps. I'll try to add a couple more pics next couple of weeks for my fellow anoraks as i'm on hols building bangers
  25. Photos below of Bilge to be raced this season. The Rover is out at Arena on the 18th January, before, after and repaired images included, the Maestro and Sunny are in build between now and 2nd February, my £100 1600inj auto Honda Concerto is not captured as it passed it's MOT and is serving friends as a Family Car until further notice....
