Hi Joker, I remember trading paint with you online Good luck with the real racing.

Right click on your desktop, then choose 'New' then 'Shortcut'. Fill it in like the screenshot below where the Target for F1's would be.. "C:\Program Files\Hasbro Interactive\NASCAR Heat\NHeat.exe" -mod:ukdirtf1 -noautoplay" For the other formula you would change the "ukdirtf1" part to the directory name of whatever formula you want. I'd like to think that ghosts do exist but I've never seen anything that convinces me completely (yes I am a most haunted fan too) Seeing that clip reminded me of a strange thing that happened when I was a kid, it was shortly after my uncle died in an accident at his work, my mum was driving us to see the aunt who had just lost her husband when for no apparent reason the rear door of the car flew open, my mum stopped, shut the door and we carried on wondering how the hell that had just happened, the doors had child locks so I certainly couldn't have opened it even if I wanted to, as we approached my aunts house the door flew open again, it was very strange and a little scary. My mum was so freaked out by it that she tied rope between the door handles on the way back home so they couldn't possibly come open again. It never happened again in all the time we had the car. We always say that my uncle hitched a ride home with us that day.

The MAX_FILES error is usually caused by exactly what hazy said, I've never seen it caused by anything else tbh, what Nascar Heat patch version are you using?

I'm up for carrying on, can't we keep our same teams and any new people start in a 2nd league that get promoted into the one we're in now and obviously people in the current league can be relagated to the new one, or doesn't it work like that?

My laptop sometimes boots up only showing exactly what you are saying yours does but luckily for me if I reboot it sorts itself out, I've worked out that it occurs when I switch it off before it has finished writing to the hard disc after I've shut down Windows (it stopped shutting down completely on it's own after I installed SP2 ). Apart from the noise you mention it sounds as though part of the hard disc has become currupted, maybe creating a new Windows user might be worth a go. Weird noises coming from a hard disc are never a good sign though, so it's worth getting a new one asap by the sound of it.

For some reason I thought my next match was tomorrow and so hadn't issued any tactics or removed injured players, it just goes to show that my input makes them play worse, I'd do better not to touch it anymore I'm confident I'm going to beat those nasty League leaders next game though
