  1. I haven't been involved for a long, long time but this was a very early testing session screenshot to wet your appetite, hopefully the UKSOM boys can let you see and know more as it was looking sweet. [attachmentid=19446]
  2. ...into the fence with me pushing
  3. Just to add, Live For Speed (LFS) is great fun, the vehicle handling is second to none and ultra realistic, it's only let down currently by slightly dodgy collision detection, once they've fixed that it's going to be awesome. Thanks to Gazmo for supplying me with a good setup
  4. Great pics maybe I'm getting old but isn't that taking things a bit far for family entertainment though. Wurzle's camera was nearly worn out after taking all those pics lol
  5. To be fair, I'd do the same
  6. Great pics, looked good fun
  7. Very, very sad news
  8. Good luck to both of you...christ Ernie that does shine! lol
  9. A mate of mines dad used to have a proper tractor pulling machine with a 12 cylinder Merlin engine on it, it was pretty awesome.
  10. Sounds interesting, good luck with it aussie I'm currently doing the odd BATracer game (Le mans series is good fun), an F1 manager game (http://www.gpmanagerpro.com/login.php) and a MotoGP manager game (http://www.motogprem.com/)
  11. Strange but quite funny lol
  12. Spot on http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Xu2HMo63nyU&...ted&search=
  13. Thank you
  14. I haven't got max 9 but did you try this, taken from my website...
  15. I'm always after track pictures too for my own project, I'd be greatful for them
  16. Looking good, keep up the good work. Poly limits for rFactor are simply huge if things are done correctly, LOD's etc. Half a million polys is possible for big circuits but you shouldn't need or use anywhere near that amount for a short oval track. As Splinter says, use as few as possible, just because you can use the a set amount doesn't mean you should, always optimise.
  17. Looks very nice Reg
  18. Planning applications aren't decided on the basis of how many people give their views, they are decided on the validity and strength of the arguments both for and against (Or is it based on who pays the most! ) Biffo's example is great, if you are going to vote against it, try to give a good reason, it'll help a lot more. It'll be a great shame to see yet another track disappear for good
  19. I too hate setting up networks, i9n the past I've had the same problems that you describe, but then without changing a thing it starts working until you switch the pc on the next day and it doesn't work again I can't really add much more than what everyone has said above, except one unwritten rule I've read about alot is to use the same make of products for each component in the network, mixing makes can cause head-aches. I'm with BT and happily use a Linksys Modem/router with Ethernet and wireless connections and a Modem built in and thankfully it's worked fine since day 1. Does the BT hub have it's own settings that you can access through internet explorer?
  20. My guess is you've already tried this and my memory is pretty vague with regards to rFactor now ( I've not touched it for ages) but isn't there a friction setting for the armco in the tdf file? Or do the wall riders actually have the outside wheels riding on the wall, so upping the friction wouldn't help. Anyway, I know how much work you have all put into this, well done
  21. Thats just how I imagined you to look Rodney
  22. Drunk
  23. I wasn't "fed with a silver spoon" my parents were actually pretty poor, I don't think you've understood what we are saying, I don't blame the employers, I don't blame the foreign workers but I do blame our government for seemingly having their eyes shut to what is happening, unfortunately it'll be the working class man that loses his job and can't pay his mortgage due to the situation. I also don't think that those who produce babies for a living should be paid for the priviledge, if you want to have lots of children, then you make sure you earn enough in your job to pay for their upbringing.
