  1. Ok, I have bought a new computer! The new computer is setup for SATA but after a long convo with Pedz (Cheers mate ) we found out how to add an ATA hard drive to the new SATA system (well Pedz already knew how but I didnt!). Now the hard drive works fine once the computer is booted up but every time I turn the computer on it ask's if I want the drive to be checked (it says it recommends the drive to be checked). But I thought that maybe after the first time it asked, it would assume the disk is ok. In the log which comes up after the check has finished, it says there is nothing faulty/bad. I know this isnt a major problem but it is slightly annoying that you have to sit and wait for 5 minutes every time you turn it on so it can check. Any idea's what this could be?? I had thought that maybe the jumper settings are incorrect?? Any help would be more then appreciated as usual, Dazza P.s I think Hard Drives will be the death of me!

You will need to merge the layers together if you want say 2 pictures on 1 layer.

    HMC

Is it? I like to see some good wrecking as much as the next person but it's always a pleasure to watch people like Jack Overy and co throwing there cars around with so much skill.

    HMC

The HMC wasn't that bad. I saw a couple of cracking hits in both the under and overs although I felt the Unders were better on the day. It started off good, got quiet in the middle and then livened up at the end again, the most disapointing thing for me however were the 10 lap races. Some races only seemed to last about a minute before the flag come out for race over. I enjoyed my day anyway! Dazza
  5. LOL I took exactly the same pic as Splodge for you Ernie, but he beat me to it Looking good though chap!
  6. Nice skin, but you always seem to say sorry for something after a render (oh the sign maybe wrong or the wheels are too big). Why not correct the size of the wheels for example before you save the render as a jpeg, it wouldnt take anymore then 30 seconds to do and would make the render look so much better. And before anyone has a go, it's constructive advice im giving here!
  7. 732 Mark Bryant?
  8. I hope your talking bangers there
  9. From my understanding he's after the 'Taylormade' writing which is on the edge of the wing, not the 'Maple' on the top.
  10. Well I wil then, and yes, it is crap!
  11. Nice motor Finner, I feel an Ellacott skin coming on
  12. Crewie! Nice skin Jamesy and cheers for the plug again!
  13. Forget the coat, go straight for a taxi!
  14. 'Dead' cool motor though Crewie
  15. Oh that old horsebox sorry i mean hearse you been banging on about I'll let you know if I hear of any lights, Buddy might be worth talking to as I know he had a couple Mk1's in stock for racing and has only raced 1 of them this year.
  16. you sure its 633 rofl
  17. Hmm, now if someone was to offer me a clean, road going one, they could take away mine and race that instead...would save me the work of finishing mine off And they would get the car of the meeting award ! Hmmm....... Your Mk1 isnt a gold one by any chance?
  18. You got it all wrong Crewie. Your supposed to be offering up your headlights (if you had some lol) to somebody who has a road going one and you race yours......... I really dont know whats got into you these days
  19. Thats easier said then done for bangers. For a start, the bangers have very little brakes and so stamping on them as you refer at Wimbledon is nigh on impossible due to the physics of the cars. Why not change the brakes I hear you say?? The brakes in the bangers used to be like the SSC/F2 etc (really sharp) but soon became out of favour as people could line up the person in front for the big one only for them to jam the brakes on and slow that person down almost to a stop without any kind of hit being delivered. People forget now that Heat is a very old game and whilst not being an expert on the subject the physics are well behind on more modern racing sims, plus the newer track's that have been released (Arena, Standlake etc) were done using dead square overhead photos meaning the shape/length of the track are near enough exactly the same as they are in real life. There are many factors which are bad online from a real life racing point of view, but, I beleive that with the bangers the racing and realism is probably at its peak now and without another game engine being used I cant see it getting any better. 20. im looking for the rce and taylormade 3ds and who was it that made them so i can ask? cheers EDIT: Playing up
  21. Ive got one but I cant scan it off for you. If its for winter legends, its probably quicker for me to do you a skin. Failing that, have a quick scan about for 186 Leon Fasey in his traditional Blue/Red/Yellow Granada and just slap 228 on the side
  22. They did a few years back as I remeber Shane Brown getting a 3 month ban for following in at a London Open.
  23. Disagree, 240's are still an easy car to get hold of IMO, and are a much more suitable car for Unlimited meeting's then a Bluebird.
  24. I think Spedeworth put a ban on following in before the event which might have put paid to most of the big hits you were expecting. I thought the meeting was quite good all in all, alot of people think that a good meeting is judged by how much wrecking/damage going but there are plenty of other things to look at such as the driving ability of some of the people out there. The race between Boxer and Davies for about 5 to 6 laps was nothing short of breathtaking and makes you appreciate how good some of these drivers are. I still think 'unders' cars should be banned from big Unlimited meeting's, Bluebird's are good but not when up against 4.2 Jags and the like as proven by the follow in. Well done Boxer though and it was good to see Overy again
  25. What version of Max are you using?
