Hello Guys, Next Thursday sees the Long Track Championship being run at Baarlo, and the big track, not the little track. The grid for the big race will be determined by the grading points chart, with the highest points scorer on pole position. The chart will be up to date on Kev149.com tomorrow evening. We have said that we will put up to 30 cars on the track, but should there be any warp problems, then we will reduce this to 24. This means that unless we break our record attendance for rfactor (which would be great!!), then everyone will get on the grid for the big race. So if you want to take part in this meeting, then please book in below. IF YOU WANT TO RACE ON WEDNESDAY AT IPSWICH, THEN PLEASE BOOK IN ON THE UK DIRT WEBSITE. Cheers Johno BOOKING LIST WHITES Bumpy Lew #495 Big Al #515 Harold #599 YELLOWS Chevy #11 Leech#126 Jarry #164 Trav#365 Fast track #527 Savage #551 BLUES DanSkin #236 Hooty #256 Mike #315 Madcowie #323 REDS Johno #3 JK #16 Dazza #290 Walker #363 Lee #531 SUPERSTARS Michael #2 Drumbstick #41 TomD #112

First of all, thanks to Kev for the meeting - superbly run as always. Well done to TomD on taking the final, well done to Hooty and being top scorer. Also nice to see Tosh scoring a good joker score - had I have known I may have let you go in the final A big well done to the top 4 in the consolation Semi Final. Once again, I felt I was a little luckless tonight. Had some good breaks, only for someone to spin in front of me, or make one of mthose wrong choices as to which way to go. But, its racing, and I am sure it will change soon. Anyway, exciting tarmac double next week, hope to see you all there again!! Cheers Johno

Hello Guys, Here is a list of the qualifiers for the consolation semi final. Group 1 is the group of drivers that have raced in their semi final and Group 2 is the group of drivers that did not race in their semi final. Please note, the list of drivers is in number order, and not the order you will be on the grid. The grid will be given out in the meeting information, once we know which drivers are booked in for the meeting. GROUP 1: Chevy #11 Bumpy #15 JK #16 Matty #300 Ironmac #288 Travel #365 Mart #435 Dave #488 Big Al #515 Harold #599 GROUP 2: Pink #6 Marky #18 LeeK #39 Tinman #48 Kevin #52 Dode #151 Jarry #164 Grasser #233 MrBeef #286 Marten #291 BigFatDad #351 Daveyboy #380 Allstar #500 Mav #525 Murf #561 THOSE DRIVERS IN BOLD HAVE BOOKED IN FOR THE MEETING. - All drivers that have raced a World Championship Qualifying Round will be able to enter (this means a possible 25 drivers). - Drivers will be split into two groups: Group 1: Drivers who raced in their Semi Final, but did not qualify. Group 2: Drivers who did not race in their Semi Final. - Each group will be gridded grades within grades according to the Grading Points Chart. - Group 2 will start behind Group 1. We are yet to finalise the distance, but I would expect it to be about 2 grade gaps distance (which will effectively mean group 1 start where the whites do, and group 2 where the blues do). THIS DOES HOWEVER NEED TO BE CONFIRMED BY OUR ADMIN TEAM. - Race to be run over 16 laps, and will most probably be run as a heat race, rather than an extra race. - Top 4 drivers qualify for the World Final. Cheers Johno

I need to clarify the full details with Kev in regards the actual grid, but the consolation semi final will work like this. - All drivers that have raced a World Championship Qualifying Round will be able to enter (this means a possible 23 drivers). Iwill put out full details tonight / tomorrow depending when mine and Kev's paths cross!! Cheers Johno

Hello Guys Having spoken to MoR about Skegness Shale, it looks as though it will not be ready in time for the meetings scheduled. This is due to many reason, but the main one being that rather than just put a layer of shale on the tarmac one, Wrighty, when he has the time, would like to make the track look authentic and therefore recreate what it looked like when Skegness was actually a shale track. I am sure we all agree that this is a superb idea and no doubt it will look fantastic upon its release. Anyway, this means that we need a replacement, and thanks to Madcowie, we have a nice replacement that just slots right in........ Scunthorpe. So therefore, the following dates are now as follows: Thursday 3rd September: Scunthorpe, start time 8pm, National Series Round 22 (Shootout Cut Off Point) And Thursday 29th October: Scunthorpe, start time 8pm, 2010 World Championship Qualifying Round 3, Avg Format Cheers Johno

Hello Guys, Just a quickie to show you the 2 possible grids thus far. If Kruiz wins the toss and chooses the inside ROW 1: 136 - 112 ROW 2: 290 - 531 ROW 3: 256 - 137 ROW 4: 331 - 315 ROW 5: 363 - 8 ROW 6: 2 - 527 ROW 7: 188 - 216 ROW 8: 17 - 3 ROW 9: 323 - 259 ROW 10: 391 - 221 ROW 11: 16 - 233 ROW 12: 365 - 151 If Tom wins the toss and chooses the inside: ROW 1 : 112 - 136 ROW 2 : 531 - 290 ROW 3 : 137 - 256 ROW 4 : 315 - 331 ROW 5 : 8 - 363 ROW 6 : 527 - 2 ROW 7 : 216 - 188 ROW 8 : 3 - 17 ROW 9 : 259 - 323 ROW 10 : 221 - 391 ROW 11: 16 - 233 ROW 12: 365 - 151 Either way, the World Final is looking like it could well be a classic!! Cheers Johno

Hello Guys, First of all, thanks to everyone that raced tonight, and of course Kev for stewarding. Congratulations must first of all go to Kruiz #136 on winning the World Championship Semi Final. Ihave not had the chance to watch the replay yet, but I think it was a good race bewteen himself and Lee #531. Either way, the grid is set, and if possible, I will do the coin toss at the real life Birmingham meeting (Will you both be there Tom and Kruiz?) Onto the rest of the meeting, and it was a big well done to Mike on taking the meeting final. A good semi final result also meant that he was the top points scorer for the evening. Hello Chevy, Lets not rush into things. Let us let the dust settle a litle bit. Tonight was a little intense, as it always is during championship meetings, but if you have a problem, feel free to tell me which replay and we will deal with it as a disciplinary team. Lets try not to create argumentative threads sir if possible. Cheers Johno

BIRMINGHAM WHEELS STADIUM PRESENTS 'THE SECOND WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP SEMI FINAL' THURSDAY 13TH AUGUST 2009 START TIME: 8:30PM Hello Guys, First of all, can I give you a quick reminder that tomorrow’ meeting starts at 8:30pm, and not 8pm. All meetings on Thursdays (that are solus) will start at 8:30pm. Anyway, tomorrow sees the second world championship semi final, and as I am in the race, I have asked Dazza if he would kindly do a little bit of a write up for you. The first world championship semi final of course was won by TomD #112, and was a real battle in the early laps of the race. What was interesting is that the main contenders for the World Title, with the exception of Michael #2 who slipped down the field after a spin early on, decided not to fight with each other too much. This left Dazza #290 in a comfortable second position, with MoR #137 third. Interestingly, starting on the forth row for the World Final will be the defending champion Hutch #331. After racing 1 qualifying round at the end of last season, he decided to race his semi final, and took a fine forth position. No one has won a UK Dirt F1 World Final more than once, let alone defend it, so perhaps Hutch maybe the first one to do so. Anyway, back to tomorrow night, and it is set to be a fantastic race, with majority of the drivers qualified set to be on the grid. It will be interesting to see if the race is as intense as it was at Coventry in the early laps, or with it being tarmac, perhaps the drivers will settle down a little sooner. Anyway, onto the preview....... thanks once again to Dazza for the superb write up. The 2nd Semi Final of the 2009 rFactor season has seen a late flurry of bookings, which pleasingly has boosted the grid. Here’s a quick rundown on the drivers in the race. 136 Kruiz Kruiz has had a very good start to the year, a superstar all season proving his consistency. Will probably be pleased to start in pole position for this one and a good start may see him hard to catch. Hasn’t raced as often as he would have liked lately though so may not be ‘race fit’ which could allow some others to take advantage. Still a good bet to finish in a high position. 363 Walker Another driver who will be pleased to start on the front row is Walker, who is having a very good season from the blue grade. Walker will start this semi as a driver who is expected to finish in a decent position, which should be manageable going on recent performances, and again, a good start could see Walker fighting for the win. 3 Johno For me, Johno is going to be the driver to watch in this Semi final. Has recently seen some real pace which could play into his inside row 2 slot here, as a big push into the first bend could see him with some open track. Johno is also a lot more consistent then people give him credit for, and therefore is going to my tip for the win. 315 Mike Uk Open champ Mike will be happy to start on row 3, despite having a bit of an up and down season. You can guarantee that Mike will fancy his chances at Birmingham, and not being shy of the bumper could see him shoot up the grid with ease. I expect Mike to get a good finish here, and maybe another driver to watch. 11 Chevy Chevy will be really pleased to start on row 4 here, and is a driver who can more then hold his own when drivers are are in front and behind. Chevy may not be the quickest but certainly has a racing head on which will almost definitely see him qualify in a good position for the world final. 365 Trav Veteran Trav is another driver who is guaranteed a place on the grid, providing he doesn’t lose heart and keeps going. Has definitely gone from strength to strength this year in rFactor, which is proven by his 6 wins this year. Trav is getting faster and faster and will probably be pleased his Semi Final is on tarmac. 188 Aub Aub, should in my opinion, be one of the top stars of the league, but the current British Champion has been inconsistent this year with a points average lower then some yellow graded drivers. Aub however is sometimes a very hard man to catch and pass if hes in the right mood, and I expect him to get further up the grid then his starting position. 488 Dave Dave started the year as one of the men to watch in the season with some decent results in the Winter Series, but has failed to successfully change all of the initial promise into full potential. Similar to Aub is quick on his day, and again will be looking for a good finish on a track he will probably be looking forward to racing on. 300 Matty Yellow man Matty is another driver who has not quite managed to convert his full race potential. Matty will qualify for the main race this year from his Semi im sure, but it will be up to him to get the bumper in early on if its to be higher up the grid then his starting position. 527 Fast Track Maybe surprised to start ahead of some of his rivals in the Semi race as he is lower then a few in his National Points position. Has picked up a couple of race wins this year from the front of the grid, and will have to fight hard to get through the pack in order to obtain a decent and guaranteed starting slot for the world. 221 Spike As I have said before, Spike has improved hell of a lot throught the year, so maybe disappointed that a lot of his WQr meetings were at a time of a little inconsistency. However, the speed and race craft have improved that much he must be feeling confident of a decent finish, the ability is certainly there. 323 Cowie Cowie is a lot better driver then his starting position may suggest and is only starting so far down the grid due to only making 3 starts at WQR meetings. Cowie does bring a fair turn of pace and will be looking early on to get up in amongst the higher positions, his race craft of being a red top may be the best thing to help him on his way. 515 Big Al A true legend in the world of online F1 racing, Al will be more then pleased just to be on the grid. Has only done a handful of meetings this year so may be an outsider for a good finish but it would be great to see him qualify without having to go through the Consi race. 599 Harold Harold is still getting to grips with rFactor abit, but recent weeks has seen in increase in speed for him which may allow him to get up the places a little. Again, it would be nice to see him on the grid at the first attempt, but it maybe difficult with some of the drivers ahead of him. 164 Jarry Jarry will be looking for a good start here from the very back of the pack, and with a final under his belt this year it proves he has the skill to challenge for good positions. Again, it may be hard for him to pass drivers further up the field, but is more then capapble of giving us a surprise in the final result. So there you go. Those are the drivers who are currently booked in to race, with more perhaps to follow. The race could be a classic, but at the same time, there is a chance that a driver in the front few rows could run off with the race. Either way, be there at 8:30pm to find out! Cheers Johno & Dazza EXTRA BOOKING: At the time of posting this, Hooty has booked in, and thus will take up his position on the grid.

Hello Guys, Dot worry, you wont need to adjust any set ups - its just this track gives us a pit gate. It must be downloaded ready for tomorrows meeting. The track is now called Birm_OL. Your old birmingham will still be there as well. CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD The server is ready with the update on. Practice is available now, unless the SSC require a second server for their meeting, whereby it will be available afterwards. Cheers Johno
