THURSDAY 1ST MAY - KINGS LYNN - WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFYING ROUND TWO - 7:30PM After an exciting start to the world championship qualifying series at Bradford Shale last week, we continue on the shale, but this time at Kings Lynn. Last time out, Kings Lynn produced a very exciting meeting, with track builder MoR #137 taking his first ever UK Dirt Final win. Starting from the superstar grade, will he be able to repeat this feat and gain more valuable world championship qualifying points? Lookin at the points scored last week, Matthew #413 leads the world qualifying series, but only by 3 points over LeeK #39, who was last weeks final winner. It was interesting to see that early season sensation Hutch #331, struggled a little last week, only getting 18 points, so he will be looking to rise up the points chart. At the time of writing this preview, only twelve drivers have booked in, including new driver Welshy #67. Three of the four superstars are booked in though, making sure that we have plenty of star power at the back of the pack. I would expect that the bookings will soar over the next 24 plus hours, and would be surprised if we do not reach 20. This meeting kicks off at 7:30pm tomorrow, so you will need to be in chat no later than 7:20pm so that we can make a prompt start. Overall, this is set to be a classic meeting, around a track that has already produced some classic racing, so you need to make sure you there, and gain some valuable world championship qualifying points. Cheers Johno

Hello Guys, Here are the grade changes at the end of the first grading period. Please remember that these changes do not come into place until next weeks meeting (8th May), therefore you will be at the same grade as last week for tomorrows meeting. Up to Red 315 Down to Red 136, 41 Up to Blue 298 Down to Blue 112, 318, 188 Up to Yellow 106 Down to Yellow 236, 488 Down to White 599 Congratualtions to all those drivers that have been upgraded. Comisserations to all those drivers that have been downgraded - I am sure that it will only be a temporary grade for you. Please look out for a announcement on skin packs coming from MoR. Obviously you have your skins already in the game, but we have looked at the options of high res skin packs and are going to put a pack together for those people that think their computer can take these skin packs. It is also a great oppotunity for you to join the league if you have not already. PLEASE NOTE If you have never raced rfactor under the UK Dirt banner, then please PM me your details so that the team can choose a suitable grade for you now the first grading period is over. In the event that you have raced rfactor F1's somewhere else, please provide us with some brief information. This DOES mean that you may not have to start at your heat grade if you race heat, but have never tried rfactor before. Cheers Johno

My understanding is that Kev will be updating his site tonight. There are going to be a few new things on there aswell so I have been told!!!

And don't forget the hat with the 'D' on

Superbly run Kruiz - its a job you got for life now Well done to LeeK on taking the final win. Had a good race with you in the final. I mst say, personally the night started off so well, with a heat win - not sure where that came form to be honest!! Then I was back to normal within a flash - having said that - had another good run in the final only to spin/be spun out. I found it hard to move people tonight, which made for a few of my spins. Anyway, next week we are at Kings Lynn, where we will be racing for those world championship qualifying points once again. Its set to be a great meeting. 7:30pm start time remember. Cheers Johno

Hello Guys, Just when I thought the grades were settling down, we find that we have to make a few changes. Bearing in mind this is a world championship qualifying round, we want them to try and be as settled as possible, and thus we have made a good few changes. So here they are: Up to s/s: 137, 136 Up to red: 286, 112 Down to blue: 39 Up to blue: 18, 259 Down to yellow: 291 Up to yellow: 202 Congratulations to all those drivers that have been upgraded. Commiserations to those drivers that have gone down, but I am sure its only a temporary arrangement. Please remember, this is the last meeting in the grading period, and we will be switching to more 'normal' grading procedures after this meeting. However, it will be slightly different with drivers that have never raced rfactor before, and whether we change the current procedure is currently up for discussion at the minute, so keep your eyes peeled, and come and join us! Cheers Johno

Top Preview MoR - a really good read.

Thanks very much to MoR fr running the meeting. Very quickly run sir - well done. Congratualtions to Jimmy on taking the final win. I thought you would be hard to ctach after the heat that you won. Personally, this is just not my favourtie track, or my favourite surface at the minute. Be greatful when we get to Belle Vue or Kings Lynn again.....in fact....... lets change the venue for next week!! hehe!! so Dont forget guys, the road to gold for rfactor F1's starts next week at Bradford. Cheers Johno

Superb stuff sir - well done

Evenig Guys, Well that was another interesting meeting. The heats seemed quite comfortable and then once we get to the all in race the carnage seemed to ensue!! We did see some really good racing however, which as always is great to see. I did enjoy watching the final from the side lines, and the finish was superb. Well done to Hutch #331 on taking the final, and avoiding the carnage to get a good place in the grand national which helped him to become top scorer on the night. It looks like he really is starting to stamp his authority over the rfactor mod. Will this continue or will this change? Other winners on the night were Kruiz #136, DB #318 and TomD #112, who all took heat races, and then MoR #137 rounded off the night with a fine grand national win. Hello Cracker, This was on an old game that is no longer used I am afraid. It was before my time. There are a few people still elft that raced both and maybe able to give you more details, but it is not avaible if effectively what you want to know. Cheers Johno

Hello DB, The points will not be updated on Kev's site until Friday. He tends to update them every two weeks due to the amount of information that goes on to his site. The points on his site are after two meetings, so they are not that far out of date anyway. Plus the points are on the meeting results from last week, so you shold get a general idea. Sorry about this, but its just what we have always done. Cheers Johno

Hello Guys, Sorry once again for the lack of a big write up. Not much time at the minute due to university. First of all, the all important grade changes for this week. Sybe #315 up to Blue Jimmy #259 down to yellow LSF #320 down to white After a successful first outing on the tarmac of Birmingham last week, this week Rfactor returns to the tarmac, but this time, the tarmac of Bradford. This track produced a superb test meeting before the start of the season, and I think the same is only to be expected again. The racing so far as been sensational, and I wouldnt expect anything less for tomorrows meeting, so how about you come and give it ago. This is perhaps the ideal oppotunity to give it ago before those world championship qualifers begin, as they are now only two weeks away. 16 cars are booked in at the time of writing this. and I woulde xpect this to reach over 20, so why not get yourself booked in for an exciting night of Rfactor F1 racing at its best. Cheers Johno

This thread is aimed to keep you up to date with all the disciplinary action taking place in F1. So that we don have to keep duplicating things, please click here to see the official sheet. Please remember, bans and points count for both rfactor and Heat. A full list of the rules, and the disciplinary procedure can be found on the UK Dirt Website. You will not be able to reply to this topic so should there be any problems, then you will need to PM me. Cheers Johno

Top work again from Grasser and all the other guys at UKSOM.

Congratulations Marky

Thanks very much to MoR for running a superb meeting. It was done in plenty of time so well done sir. Congratulations to Sybe on taking the final win, and along with two heats wins, top scoring on the night. For me the racing was good tonight. As normal I made a few errors which cost me good positions, and a big error in the final on the first bend. As DB said, he did cost me the grand national, but thanks very much for apologising, and no problems. I will win a race soon I am sure!!! Anyway, next week is the late start time (9pm) at Bradford Tarmac. If tonight is anything to by, it should be a absolute classic!!! Cheers Johno
