All added now with thanks to MoR for doing his usual great job on the trophy design. Johno should be able to just add the 1st,2nd,3rd place drivers as per the other championships. Brilliant Guys - Thanks
-
Glad you ok m8 - Hope you can race again soon, but you won't recognise me for the rest of the season as I have been given a blue roof now!!!
-
Did what I had to do in the W&Y! - Can't believe how nervous I was!!! Thanks for the Congrats guys, appreciate it Really wish Big Al had been there to compete against in the last few rounds, hope all is ok with him. Johno - Any chance the Whites & Yellows Championship could be added to the Hall of Fame please???? As for the rest of the meeting, the setup didn't seem to be as good as last time I raced there so I just tried to stay out of the way, when a car caught me up. Was chuffed to come from 22nd to 12th in the final even though that was due to people going out rather than me passing them!! See you at Wimbledon.
-
Dan, Can you take me out of the points as Johno will class me as an appearance!! Looking forward to the W&Y's at Sheffield
-
According to the fixture list, there are two rounds left - Tonight at Buxton and next week at Sheffield - Is that correct?? I don't remember there being a round on World Final night (as depicted on the fixture list) - was that an error on the fixture list or was it missed?? According to the rules above, there are to be 20 rounds, but on the last line it says the winner will be crowned after 18 Rounds?? Also when is the next grading change, as I would ideally like to have a crack at winning this title but the W&Y table hasn't been updated so I have no idea if it is still possible!!! NOTE - Just checked the rules regarding the grade changes and see that I should still be yellow for the remaining rounds.
-
If there is a Whites & Yellows race, I should be ok for that. May be able to do the meeting after not sure yet - so provisional please.

Well Done Tom I have yet to be in a World Final where I get a decent race!! Having kept a tight line on the first bend as everybody had gone wide, I then found my line blocked by a spinning car, so ended up last after the first bend just like the F1 World Final!!! Made up some ground only to be spun out by the same driver whom blocked my way on lap 1 and hitting a tyre. Not wanting to reverse back into the oncoming traffic, it took me ages to get going again only to break my suspension late on in the race - so disappointed after all the practice and build up to the race. After last nights meeting, which was a great blues battle between Southy, Simon and myself, I hoped to be competitve again especially with more cars this time. Heat 1 and what a shock - missed everything that was going on and found myself in 2nd with 4 to go. Managed to get Samwit with one to go and held onto the last bend hit to take the win!! Superb. Heat 2 & 3 had there problems but on the whole decent races. Final - Doing great in the opening laps, until a lap down Spiro dived in causing a half spin which Samwit finished off. 5th to 16th in one dirty move so was not happy. Nezza got a good un, probably the best hit I have ever done in F2's, but he returned it just a few laps later. Laps were counting down and I couldn't catch Nezza but we found ourselves in 9th and 10th, and happily settled for 10th. GN, again got a great start and was in a rhythm until I caught Dougie & Ricky, I decided not to go in hard and sweep through on the inside instead. BIG MISTAKE!! I found myself embedded in a tyre thanks to Ricky (Dougie was racing fairly) and that ended my points race. However, Tom made the end to the race interesting. Throwing caution to the wind I slung the car around as did Tom and how we didn't end up in the parked cars is beyond belief!! Great racing Tom - really enjoyed it Its so much better when you are comfortable with the car, I can see why the top guys enjoy it so much when they do battle and why they hate it so much when stupid errors ruin it. Hopefully Mildenhall will be more of the same - See You There!!

F1's - Paul Harrison #2 won from outside row one // Mike #315 won from outside row one F2's - Mark Simpson #871 won from Consi Semi 2nd // I wonder who came 2nd in the online Consi Semi lol My Prediction : 1st - 188 2nd - 151 3rd - 115 Good Luck All (Especially if Dougie races!!)

Thx for the reply Johno - Work comes first m8 we all know that!! Do the World Final and update on Tuesday

WELL DONE MIKE Having watched the WF race this morning with Kev, I am chuffed at how my race went, although disappointed that I ended up 20th out of 24. At half way point I was up to 12th, but then the bumper blues showed up and I went backwards. It was extremely difficult to concentrate on my driving, as well as working out who I was racing against, who was a lap down, who was a lap up and where the leaders were!!! I thought I did myself proud being the only yellow top in the race - I enjoyed it As for the meeting itself, heats went perfect, happy with two seconds, and the final was 5 laps away from being perfect too, but Waqar saw to it that I went from 2nd to last when I was forced into the tyres ala Stuart Smith Jnr in 2008. Real shame but that is racing. GN was a good race too, I knew that Green would catch me as he was the only blue. I raced him and Drumstick best I could and stayed with them for awhile. Managed to hold onto 5th for most of the race only to pass Swish on the last lap - so 4th was a great success and this was all on the laptop too!!! Jnr on the other hand couldn't get it hooked up properly, Blymn causing Jnr to spin out of the Consi Semi, and then various incidents in the heats, Jnr went into the Consi. He drove well and qualified for the final, but didn't hold out for a position. GN he drove steady and finished 5th. Looking forward to Mildenhall

Why are Admin allowing drivers who didn't attend their Semi to race the Consi Semi?? Surely 10 drivers for 4 places is enough of a race?? Lee Robinson or Mick Sworder were not allowed to race in real life.
-
I'm in Shock!!!! Jnr deserved better in the Bradford Tarmac Final, as he was trading first place with Daveyboy until about 5 to go when RickyJames was parked against the backstraight fence taking Jnr out. Could Jnr go one better this time and actually take the Arena Final?? As Jnr likes the Arena track I wondered if he would be consistant enough to stay at the front, but having won a race there last time out, I did have high hopes for him! Jnr did keep charging downstairs to tell me what had happened, he was happy to get 2nd in his first heat, disappointed that Davey had to spin him out of 1st and he finished 6th. Come final time we heard a massive "Yes" cried out and I assumed he had won the final, but alas it wasn't! However Jnr was well chuffed with 2nd in the final, his best yet but personally I would have liked to have seen how he went starting from behind the Superstars in the GN, nevertheless he was extremely chuffed to finish 2nd again in the GN and become the highest point scorer for the meeting. By the sounds of it, he drove sensibly and considering the drivers whom did pass him to take first place off him, I am very surprised Jnr resisted the chance to try and take first place back!!!!! Now we move to NIR and see if he can get in the top 4 of the Consi Semi to make the 2011 F1 World Final!!! Who will get to use the PC - Difficult one!!
-
That WAS the worst ever meeting that I have known in UK Dirt rFactor - it was atrocious!!! I sincerely hope its because it is the meeting before WF, and things will get back to how good they were over the last couple of months after next week. c'mon guys get it sorted - lets get it back to all about the racing and the spirit in which it was meant and not the bickering or stupid on track antics
-
Thanks for the explaination Johno
-
I am grateful Trav - very grateful. I think I would be a huge hinderance from blue and I don't think I could cope just yet. I did wonder why you hadn't been dropped to yellow, and only conclusion i could make was you hadn't done enough meetings, but you have put that theory out of the window. Therefore Travel to yellow and Craig to blue - fair swap!!
-
122 Craig Charles not changing grade with an average over 20 from yellow???
-
Thanks for letting me join midway through Johno! With no real practice, I wasn't expecting to score but two out of three finishes in top ten - have to be pleased with, especially being spun out of them all at the beginning. Pleased for Craig, great win in the final, although was miffed you spun me at the start and I was going to repay you until I realised you were leading!!! Congrats m8 Not pleased with Marco, what was that for in the final, I'd done nothing and was myself trying to catch up to gain places, but that was ended when you put me over the mound, when tapping me wide would have sufficed! Then you spun me in the GN on the first bend!! Least I finished higher in that race though! Not a bad track to race on, but back to the laptop next week as its tarmac but will still be trying!! ROLL ON WORLD FINAL

Just one of those things Southy, it wasn't to be! Practice just went from strength to strength, every change I made got me a little faster and more stable, so I was confident of having a chance to qualify. Having avoided all the first lap scuffles, found myself in 7th, Lars passed me and I was happy to follow Lars and Daveyboy. Seeing Trav and Gary catching I decided to push on and caught and passed Davey, but with a few to go Trav and Gary got by leaving me and Davey 9th and 10th, but more importantly well clear of 11th. Davey recaught me and passed me and entering the straight to see one lap to go, Davey lost control and ploughed into me causing my car to spin. Davey spun too but got over the finish line, but the leaders passed me before I could reach the line, thus ending the race. Therefore I couldn't complete the last lap which relegated me down to 12th with only a few yards to go!!! Had a good run in my first heat, taking the victory. Second Heat and I decided to follow Dim-Wit, as he had won the other heat, but he kept getting the corners wrong, putting my car out of shape. BFD then drove at my car and took me out. Dead Last! Final was the same, held up by the whites and along comes BFD and does the same again! lol Race over. GN, I took outside front and managed to get ahead of Ryano on the first bend. After the two whites annialated themselves, I never looked back. Following in Aub's tyre tracks I kept up a good rhythm and was half a lap ahead when the flag fell. Thought Southy was going to ruin/jinx my night again when he said "Well Done Mav" and I still had one lap to go!!!!! Anyway all in all not a bad meeting, well done to Dave for keeping the meeting flowing dispite his problems, and Well Done to all the 20 Semi-Finalists who made the World Final With the talent that will be in the Consi Semi, I doubt I will make it via that route either!! lol
-
Bang goes me just following Aub then! lol Was just going to do a Moodie

Didn't enjoy this meeting at all. My apologies to Green, for causing an avoidable collision in the GN. Sorry.
