No, it's not Welly!! The brother of the Lady, and the guy in front of Aub, their racing nicknames rhyme. So Aub has been identified, anyone else like to guess, especially those who don't know who they are!!
-
lol - Clever sod!!!! I don't know who the lady is nor the bloke in the red t-shirt, but I assume they have raced in UK Dirt then??

Whilst sorting out some more photo's for my F1 Website, I came across this picture of Ivan Pritchard, with some unsavory guys lurking in the background, but who are they???

I have a great weekend, with being treated on Saturday Night Out, then Sunday Morning I was taken to Silverstone where I was entered into the Rally Driving Experience which was 6 laps around a preset track clockwise, then 6 laps around the track anti-clockwise. In between you were taken round by a professional, who scared the s**t out of you!!! Finally you did one timed lap on the track you had just done, then onto an unknown track, where you then did another timed lap. The two lap times were added together to get your overall time. Out of 12 other people in my group, I was fastest overall by over 2 seconds!!!! (Just a sample of what photos were taken for me, and I have a DVD of the whole experience too - My timed lap can be found on facebook, but it too large to upload here ) Absolutely superb to do, and I wished I had taken up some kind of "Real" driving 20 years ago, but alas I did UK Dirt instead And today, my 40th (I have to keep reminding myself of that!!), I have been on a 20 mile bike ride around Rutland Water with my family, followed by a superb Chinese and a family film. Awesome day as my kids keep telling me Finally tomorrow, off to Peterborough to see WBA hopefully win, whilst wearing my new WBA Shirt (Thanks Kev ) and then for the rest of the week put my feet up!! Thanks to all those who sent me Best Wishes Mav.

UK Dirt Fantasy Football League 2009/2010
Mav replied to ciderman22's topic in Non-League / Off Topic
Anybody wanting to join the "I Know the Score" UK Dirt 2009/2010 League??? It goes hand in hand with the Fantasy Football League Around 12 people joined last season and it was closely fought all season long with JonMuzz coming out on top, with Ciderman runner up and I came in third after leading for quite sometime!!! Basically, you predict the results of all the Premiership matches each week and accumulate points according to the points structure, you also have a "Bonus" and "Safety" chip to play which can either treble or nulify one result in the weeks games - use them wisely as it can make a big difference to your scores each week when used well!!! It takes around fifteen minutes of your time a week and you are e-mailed by the game to remind you to add your predictions - it makes you listen to the Premier Scores each week with added interest I can tell you!!! Be great to see you all join Dear Paul Broderick Thank for for registering for I Know the Score (IKTS). To make the very best out of the game, we would highly recommend that you set up a mini-league. A mini-league is a smaller, defined group of IKTS players. There are two types: 1) Private - These are ones that have been created by IKTS players and contain up to 50 of your friends. (To Join use code FCCF3-TLB) 2) Public - If you are looking to play with fellow IKTS players then why not join a Public Mini-League? Comprising 20 players there are three types to choose from: A) Club - Fellow players of your favourite club generally starting in the same Gameweek as you. B) Country - Fellow players from your country of origin generally starting in the same Gameweek as you. C) General - Random IKTS players generally starting in the same Gameweek as you. Log in to IKTS by visiting http://iknowthescore.premierleague.com/ The IKTS Team -
I won't be taking my place on the grid, so please add a reserve in - Thx

If by some chance I make automatic qualification (I am currently 27th), then please pass it onto number 28 or whoever is next, as I won't be racing.
-
No whites to get in your way tonight Drum - Enjoy

I won't be racing these for awhile as I am sick of being bawled at for making mistakes that do cost people their races. I am white for a reason, I make mistakes, not unlike any white in real life, and thats not surprising as I don't have much time to practice, I don't race Sim-Stox, and I don't have any setups. It's a challenge to me to try and do the best I can and improve, but to have people at you all the time for your errors is deflating. I'd had a good night so far and thought I was doing ok until the last lap of the final, my laptop (for the second time whilst racing rFactor) went back to the desktop. The race had finished by the time I got it back and the GN felt as if I wasn't in control of the car and thus I found the car difficult to handle. I apologise to anyone whom I caused problems too, due to this but as I said I won't be in your way for awhile now. Nice to see Pusher and Harold doing well, upgradings for them is imminent - Congrats

Add the two skins I had please Dave.

Nor are ones from a lap down Tom has always been like that Lee, he is the new "Spudspeed" with a few others not too far behind - I am sure people will not tolerate it for much longer before they return the hits and it will happen at the worst time ie Championships. Mike had that situation earlier this season but Allstar didn't do a good job of it The core of rFactor drivers are making this series a great one to "Race" in but a few are taking a different approach to the racing and its standing out. What they are doing isn't necessarily wrong but what it does seem to be is "Unsportsmanlike" to the majority. I don't have the answer to the age old problem, but my thoughts are the more people that actually "Race" in rFactor, the more I am sure they will find it rewarding - but there will always be those who find it rewarding driving in a different manner. If you don't believe in the alternate driving manner, please do not resort to their kind of driving, stick to what you believe in and let Admin deal with any problems, if any, that arise from it. Overall try and give enjoyment to others as you would wish them to give to you and you WILL see the rewards of this fantastic mod.

Johno - You have me down as attending the meeting and scored zero points - but I booked out prior to the meeting started on the bookings thread.
-
Booking out - Just cant get on with the place - did a 14.2/3 for few laps went to save the file, came back out on track and just spin everywhere and can only do 14.9's - So given up
-
I don't understand why you are having a go at me - I have said that it doesn't matter m8 - its happened and gone - I am not concerned - I'm disappointed but honestly its not a problem. I think you read into my words something that wasn't there. Hope you understand now m8
-
Excellent pictures Tosh You have me facing the right way as well May I use some of those for the F2 Website Please?? I could do with a grid picture from the front showing both in & out together - Could you do that for the Website??? No Worries if not m8

AUB - I was 7th in heat 4 (my third heat) - I seem to be missing from the results ???? This would make me 25 points and may change others scores. Also was that a WCQR as well with all races counting as WCQR points?? I was pleased to make the British Final, annoyed at how easily the car changed mid race as I could have been up there with Pusher and Harold, whom I allowed to get ahead and then followed rather than interfere and slow us both down. Rather finish 2nd than not at all. British itself ended in tears as I believed it would - no good in traffic - just seem to come off worse - and so it proved on first bend. Got a rhythm back only to have my front end taken by Big Al who had recovered from a trip to the fence and just cut me off. Two laps down in the space of five laps. Finished the race though so happy to have taken part

Just to clarify this one point - I did not reverse out - that would have been very bad driving from me and I would have accepted the blame totally if that was the case. See you next week at Birmingham (Hope and pray we steer clear of each other )

My first shale meeting (obviously as last week was my first ever F2 rFactor meeting) and after learning the basics of cornering in free practice, I felt confident of holding my own in the meeting. First heat, once I passed a weaving Harold, I settled into a great rhythm and even when Mike passed me for the lead, I stayed in touch for awhile. Finishing second i was on a high. After that I became hugely disappointed, especially with the attitudes of some drivers, although pleased to have scored some WCQR points. My second heat (Heat 3) should have been restarted, as I had virtually stopped as I believed I had disco'd as no commands nor cars could I see, and I had completed one and half rolling laps. Amazed to see "Go" then shortly after "Chat froze" - At that point I thought the race would be stopped as cars were all over the place. Alas it wasn't and ended up last. In the final the car changed, whether it was more fuel or under lights, I don't know, but it became very loose from the word go. After the opening laps exchanges with Harold, I hit the front only to loose the back end and before I could correct it, Harold tapped my rear corner, I spun. In trying to correct that spin, I hit Leech head on (Sorry), then was pushed in field by Mart. When straight, I then progressed around the inner marker tyre which saw me collect Tosh and Mike. All three of us spun again. We all got going again pretty quickly and I was suprisingly in 12th. Therefore if Tosh hadn't gone out of his way to fence me a couple laps later, he could have possibly got top 5. I held 10th until 2 laps from the end when I couldn't control a very light car. (Great race Nezza btw!!) - So why did I get bawled at after the race by Mike & Tosh??? Am I the only one ever to get it wrong and unfortunately take others out with me, for which I am sorry for - I never wish to ruin peoples races. After that, I couldn't be bothered with the GN and managed a 9th after having a good race with a few drivers. I really don't know about Birmingham as its the British, I don't want to go through this again for the third week running - I am just not up to the standard required to not make errors and ruin peoples races. Good Luck to all in the British.

Who was/is Tyler Durden???? He joined BATracer the day before the series started but no matches to his name has been found on UK Dirt database. A couple of people have never heard of him - so who was/is he???

Due to my wheel packing up on me after monday's F2 meeting, I was forced to abandon my 2009 F1 rFactor debut, but thanks to Kev I have just booked in using a loan wheel. Assuming it works ok, then I will race, but if it doesn't please accept my apologies for a no show. Cheers.
