Just to add to this, its F2 so make sure its NOT the "R" version (used in bangers), iv almost caught myself out doing that lol

I can see where people are coming from on both sides of the argument, but my opion is that it should stay free to everyone, before i became a member i red this forum for a long while and its what convinced me to join, seeing the cars people made, seeing screen shots from games and people posting up stuff that happened in races, reports and genral UK Dirt stuff i enjoyed reading. I do think however that the non payers should have slightly less options availble to them, such as signitures, avaitors, maby not be able to PM? and maby not be able to view or use Smilies? just some genral things like that, give them limited content, this will make UK Dirt membership more exclusive and further more justify the cost to sign up. If there a problems with non members spamming or being a nuscince you could ban them temporaly or perminatly, but not ban them on user name cause they can just re-register but ban them on there IP, iv seen this happen on other websites and forums, so that should filter out any trouble makers and then we can carry on being a happy well run organisation And Kev should't have to pay for the forum out of his own pocket, if we all club together wed probely end up paying pennies each anyway thats my views Rikard

All problems are now solved, thanks guys, just to add to what Pedz said about EA servers, im downloading the new update to 1.2, "only" a 83meg file but its soooo sloooow to download, im doing it now, i started about 2 and a half houres ago and its only just reached 50%! i normaly download about 110kb/sec per seconds, but its only going 4.8kb/sec!! thats like dial up speed! If it was all working fine with no problems, and you haven't played around with any mouse settings it may just be broken? i dunno, you may need to calabrate it if its designed origanlly for the PS2, other than that im sure it may say on the internet somewhere, or maby check out the instructions or trouble shoot, also make sure no dust has got anywhere under the buttons as you say its oldish, my old mouse went a bit funny and some times missed some clicks Look on the bright side, at leaset you don't need a mouse for bangers Rikard

Im not to sure, have you checked you entered in the correct Jolt IP adress? cause i had some problems when i started cause i was putting it in wrong number Also have you downloaded the correct tracks? make sure its R (reverse) if its bangers your trying to race, i don't think that would cause "the host did not resond" message but thats another thing thing that stops you connecting if there is a race currently going on Best wait for someone to reply who knows what there talking about lol Rikard

These are looking much better, its good to see you making good progress Just a quick hint, when i make renders i try to get the car in the middle of the picture, also what i do is that if i make a render and the car is quite small in it, like if its far away you could maby crop the image so its center and can then looks bigger (just a personal preferance) but as i said your doing well mate Rikard
