Dazza, can you change your name in game so you have 290 next to you name rather than 684 please. As I was typng the results last night I put 684 on the spreadsheet in your second heat by mistake, but for Kev noticing just now, you might have lost 7 points.

Well that rounds up the first WCQR which saw Matthew #413 top score and LeeK#39 take the meeting final. Congratulations to them both. I think it went as smoothly for me tonight as can be expected considering the unreliable PC that I'm using really hates thursdays and trys anything to get out fo racing lol. Thanks to everyone for racing, hope to see all (and more) next week at the superbly replicated Kings Lynn at at a 7.30pm start time for the second World Championship Qualifying round. Booking closed.... MI up shortly.
-
I'm taking bookings until 8pm, so we can get as many drivers as possible
-
Its not permenant, but its the first time its happened since I got the game over a year ago. It does stop after being rebooted but seems to re-occur randomly.
-
Anybody any idea of whats going on here? I thought I'd seen someone with a similar problem but can't find anything.
-
Quality read MoR, I'll be hoping for this well passed it, over upgraded PC to hold out until September, and then bribe the WCQR leader to choose the track that allows me to race at Skegness as I'll be in France for Kings Lynn lol. So it seems I'm relying on luck more so than others
-
Ah cool fair enough, here's the new tar car. I've had to cut the Wainman one up for spare steal after Ipswich lol. 136FlcsT.zip

Sounds like you have a plan Do you want me to upload my skins again to this thread mate? Seeing as you are doing hi res & low res packs do you need them both attached here? Cheers Kruiz

Caught the roll perfectly there MoR, I didn't quite know what had happened tbh until I saw cars going passed upside down then I realised lol. Nice little read that too m8 Just looking through the results and I feel slightly better after seeing very few reds scoring much more than me so theres hope yet. The car was a total write-off so looks like a new one for the next tarmac meeting...
-
Very disapointed with my results tbh, average heats then went downhill from there, rolled, and stayed upside down on the first lap or two of the final which was me out of yet another final. Then just as I thought I had a good start in the GN Danskin hit a tyre in front of me and that was me out again! lol Hoping for better luck next week although something tells me I won't get it at one of my least favourite tracks. Thanks for the meeting MoR, my turn next week be nice! Kruiz

Just letting you know Kev, since the update nobody I know on AOL has been able to log in via their aol software (including me) and are having to use Internet explorer which is a bit of pain as its so much slower to load pages.
-
I sometimes get that too Matthew, it happened to me in last weeks final. I also get my wheel 'jerking' over to the left sometimes after I've been hit and the only way to rememdy tht is to make strong contact with the wall. I think everybody gets a few problems and annoyancies sometimes, I guess we just have to put up with them occasionally, although LSF's seems more than that, there must be a fix for what he's having.
-
I think Dazza has had the same problem but he fixed it last week, possibly the person to ask how he fixed it.

THURSDAY 17TH APRIL - IPSWICH - WHITES AND YELLOWS ROUND 2 - START TIME 7:30PM After two successful meetings on the hard stuff as a bit of a warm up, it's now time to get serious as the Rfactor F1's make their first visit to this years World Championship Venue of Ipswich. If you are going to become the first UK Dirt Rfactor F1 World Champion then you will have to win the 25 lap race arund this awesome raceway, and therefore practice may well be pivotal. This is also a important meeting for the lower grade drivers out there. It's the second round of the whites and yellow's championship. Don't forget this is a points championship now, and thus any points that you score from this meeting will count towards the championship. REMEMBER, TOMORROW'S MEETING STARTS AT 7:30PM, SO BE IN CHAT FOR 7:20PM AS THE FIRST RACE WILL SET OFF AT 7:30PM ON THE DOT. At the time of writing this, there are 12 cars booked in, with only 4 yellows and no whites. I would be very surprised if this was to stay this way. MoR will be your race manager for the evening and Johno will be your meeting steward. So how would you like a blast around the track that will host Rfactor F1's biggest event? Perhaps this could be your first step on your road to gold. Get yourself booked in and find out! Cheers Kruiz

Use Internet explorer instead of AOL software, mine doesn't work either.
-
It only works in dx8 and dx9 settings as its only a test version.
-
Thats going to get to one hell of a big number on mine seeing as I only read about 20% of the threads on here lol. One problem I have is: I keep getting logged out as soon as I log in and says board error, guests are not allowed to use this feature. It only happens on AOL though, its fine on Internet Explorer.

Great, just in time for my first meeting RM'ing lol. I think last nights meeting was very enjoyable if slightly frustrating at times. The heats went well but as I lined up for the final I was sure something would go wrong to mke it a hatrick of final DNF's this season lol. I wasn't wrong either, come lap two I had front right and left rear suspension damage and was scambling in a tight pack of reds over some unforgiving infield logs. I can't remember what happened between lap 2 and 16 but I found myself third with the top 2 insight and actually could have won if I had known it was last corner as I was right on the back bumper of Hutch going into the last bend. Oh well, it was a miracle I came 2nd, just goes to show you should never give up on rFactor, anything could, and usually does happen. Hope to see you all (and more) next week

Obviously Rob is racing bangers atm, and I was told he was hoping to make a return to F2 but is currently going through a divorce the last I heard so he couldn't. Maybe DB knows more.....

Congratulations Marky

Thanks for running the meeting MoR Up and down night again for me, I set out with the intention of beating Hutch in every race and was on target until near the end of the final, when I was following Hutch in about 4th or 5th getting ready for a pass when I was spun into the armco putting my already damaged and worn car out of controlability and that was me out for the second final in a row, but thats racing. Note to self, must do better at Bradford.. Kruiz

Shame you can't race mate (not very considerate of your wife eh ). Good luck, sleep well tonight, might well be the last you get for a long time!
