The other factor to think about when buying a new PSU (well for me anyway) is the amount of noise it makes, some sound like a jet aircraft taking off and some are wisper quiet. Your current one is doing some strange things, must be a loose connection somewhere, I wouldn't leave it too long as it is though.

When I called it an animation I used the wrong word, it's a movie made via Fraps from a game I'm working on, the car you see has very basic physics and is drivable, the track is also very basic, it's just a simple plane at the moment.

I make Nascar heat IMG files in the same way as .tex ones, ie: make a .TGA then use a converter turn it into a .IMG, I don't know of a way to open them though.

Some of the older banger models have various mapping problems but whether they'll ever get fixed is another thing.

Sounds like an over heating problem or a loose connection, maybe a loose RAM module? Disconect everything that you don't need, just try booting with 1 hard drive, no DVD drives etc, basically just try it with an absolute minimum needed. Has your motherboard got on-board graphics? if so remove any graphics cards and run it using the on-board, same with sound.

Pretty much spot on Scrappy, I stopped work on the rFactor banger mod because the game just didn't seem suitable enough for the amount of work that needed to be put in, if any patches make the game more suitable then I'll give it another go but until then I'll continue doing the odd bit for heat and indeed looking into writing my own banger game from scratch, the possibilities for this are endless, including proper caravan racing but it's a huge task so don't hold your breath, the going is very heavy, alot of it way over my head at the moment but I'm learning!

You couldn't do a render for us could you? Using the cargo? I can yes, but it won't be until Monday evening, if that is ok for you, post the skins on here and I'll see what I can do.
