  1. This was something that I was going to do whilst I was admin but then I thought that there may be some people still on dial-up so they would like smaller downloads, we hadn't got the space to host the small downloads as well as a complete one.
  2. It sounds as though you need to treble check that you have installed each UK-Dirt Banger update and patch in the correct order.
  3. Just out of interest whats the damage like?
  4. Very very sad news indeed Rest in peace Beech. NickM

    5SPOKE

It's a problem with the 5spoke wheels by the sound of it, can you post up the full error log. Make sure you have all of the banger patch's installed too.
  6. I've got a part done old school version of Arena Essex with post and wire fence and no inside kerb, I just need to get some pictures of the trackside scenery so that I can eventually get it finished. If anyone has any pictures of Arena before the armco was installed please get in touch. [attachmentid=2920]
  7. More posts?
  8. How can anyone resist it with that huge price drop! I guess it has been reduced because of reliability problems which cause it to seize up whilst easily leading the race around the supermarket! I'm not bitter I only had £1 on Kimi to win!

    Laptops

I have an Advent 7017, It's not the most powerful laptop by far but does run heat online perfectly ok with a wireless connection, the spec is below to give you some idea of what you need, as has been said you need to make sure that it has a good graphics card most laptops don't, so pay special attention to that. CPU Intel Pentium 4 3.06 GHz (Northwood) BIOS AMIBIOS. Press the Delete key to enter. Memory 512 MB DDR SODIMM Hard Drive 30 GB Hitachi DK23DA CD Drive Slimtype COMBO LSC-24081 Screen 15" TFT (Native Res.1024x768) Video Card ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 64MB DDR Sound Card SiS 7012 audio chipset Modem SmartLink 56K modem Netword Card SiS 900 integrated fast ethernet

    skinning

If it was easy Tilly someone would have explained it by now, sorry but it's just too complex to tell someone via a forum.
  11. I believe thats the error you get when you have more than 24 different chassis in a race.
  12. When are you getting it? Are you trying to run a program or is it at windows startup? twain is usually something to do with a scanner I think.
  13. Are you running a firewall? Its been so long since I used 98, Has it got a security tag in internet explorer options?
  14. You could try physically removing the sound card from the machine along with removing all the drivers for it then see whether heat will run. If it does work then at least you will know that its definately a sound card issue. I'm assuming heat will run without a sound card I don't see why it shouldn't but I've never tried it.
  15. If the level of warp is ok and we can run in a thick server then I'd be up for racing for England.
  16. Is that the whole log? Have you got plenty of free space on your hard disk?
  17. Cool but I think it'd make me sea sick!
  18. Gutted!
  19. sounds like it must be the mobo to me, does it change if you gently wobble the socket that the graphics card is in?
  20. Oh yes that'll be from the Wilboyz program on mtv, very funny indeed
  21. Well done Gonzo, It looks really nice, The photo album of the build is really fascinating I often wondered where the hell you would start when building one of those, the amount of work that has been put in looks unbelieveable, it seems a shame to scratch and dent it lol. Top stuff
  22. If there is any mistake in the drivers.txt, Heat automatically uses the original Nascar drivers list instead.
  23. If someone can get alot of decent pictures so that a good life like model can be made then please do.
  24. Have you used BHCM (Car manager) to select a new set of skins?
