  1. If that doesnt work Rik perhaps you could save it as a .3ds file so that it can be imported, just make sure you save the Max textures onto it Dazza
  2. Because all the different wheel types are packed into the .res file as there own wheels which can be displayed on any car (So Hotrods and bangers there are a selection) however the Stockcars it seems have been built with the wheels attached to that car only (I.e not packed into the .res file).
  3. They where well cool.....you could hide scaffold tube up the inner wings. It probably boils down to the era I come from. Whats the fuss with these new fangled MK1 granada things anyway? 1. They look better 2. Do they need any other reasons!
  4. No Worries. Can honestly say I do not like Trummies, my old man used to rant and rave about em when he used to race aswell!
  5. You sad git!
  6. No, I think the F2 boys refer to the hitting as being ''over the top''. There is a difference between nudging some wide in the corner and being jacked full chat ending the person in front's race. Just a question, have you ever raced Uk Dirt?
  7. You need the full game in order to install bangers. There used to be a patch you could install to make the game work but I have forgotten if it is still available and where it is. can inot use the mod found on the mod squad page i had the full game but the disk has got scratched and it wont work Thats possibly the one im thinking of, I have never used it so I cant comment on how to use it, although im sure somebody here can help you further.

  9. You willing to pay for mine then Dazza
  10. First off, where have I said that you shouldnt be allowed to race or that your not a hard worker? I dont beleive those comments come into this conversation. As far as im concerned my last post is stating the fact that if you dont get the time, then thats tough (thats life!)I dont get the time to spend ''hours'', ''days'' and ''months'' on a setup. As stated before, the fact that you have ''grades'' in stock cars should be an advantage to start with. And even if you spent time tinkering with 1 setup a night for say 15 minutes, im sure after a week your car will be quicker then when you started. It just seems to me there are plenty of people out there that really cant be assed on making a setup and expect the quicker drivers to just to hand theres out so that they can keep up. Im not accusing you of being one of them but there are plenty out there.
  11. Spot on comment Knobby. Setups are simply not a 1 minute thing ''Oh I will change that and I'll be on the pace''. It simply doesnt happen. You really need to think of the car as in real life e.g Is it going around the bend as I would like?? Can I control it ok coming out of the bend, is it oversteering/understeering?? Is it revving to much/not enough at the end of the straight?? I have been racing Uk Dirt Bangers pretty much since it started (3+ years) and I am by no means quick, so how would someone who has been racing 3 months expect to be a championship contender?? I used to race F2's quite regular, but being a banger person I left it for a while and when I came back the bar for setting quick laps had risen to a height in which I dont think I can compete in them anymore. It's not just about fast laps either. Yes it helps but its not the be-all and end-all of racing. Consistency is the key to any racing, no matter what formula you are in. I dont beleive racing the AI will improve your driving at all. Driving online is totally different as you have to expect the un-expected, the AI take the same line into the bend and up the straight nearly every lap. The only way you will improve is online in a server. If your time is limited to how much you can practise online, then im afraid thats life! Dazza
  12. Get your finger out and get an advanced ticket for 12 quid then! Easier said then done. Never been a massive fan of buying advanced tickets as you pay 12 quid, something crop up the day before meaning you cant go and you lose 12 quid! There should be an option to drop the 4 quid souvenier program, and then get in for 12 quid as you normally find pristine copies of the praogram scattered all over the floor when your in there anyway! Is that right Muns, 20 quid for Wimbo World this year?
  13. Not at 16 quid to get in im not!
  14. There are some pics on my site - www.swcrashin.cjb.net - from this years National Teams
  15. Thanks for the recomendations lads
  16. Happy birthday Nick! Cheers for all the help you have given me
  17. Hi all, Can anyone recommend a good anti-virus software for my PC. Im after one that is good for keeping the bugs out but is also easy to turn off when I need to go racing online. thanks in advance Dazza
  18. Happy birthday 'Grape'
  19. Thanks for the link mate, but Cunny has found me a universal N-Vidia motherboard driver which has cured the problem. Many thanks to everyone who has helped
  20. Thanks Dino. Does eMachines, Inc. MS6777 sound right for the motherboard. I have done loads of seraches for motherboard drivers, but none seem to show up my computer model. Emachines 610. Do you know of any good driver sites, I have trawled through Goggle but cant find nothing as of yet. Dazza

  22. Ok, I am totally lost now. On the top of the instructions for the hard drive it says '32gb Clip'. If i set the jumper to what it says on there it only brings up 32gb. If i set it to normal slave settings its reading 128gb. So im guessing that could be the other 32gb im missing, or is it simply taking 32gb off of the 128gb. I have also read elsewhere what Dino has said, updating the motherboard, so how would I find out what my motherboard is?? In bios?? And it also says on the top of the instructions 15 heads and 16 heads, but I can find any info on what my hard drive is. I have tried pertioining it to no avail, but maybe it is the motherboard Thanks for all the help so far though lads, Dazza
  23. Thanks Dino, at least I know now there isnt a 'hidden' problem. I've had a search on how to partition a hard drive but it only comes up with what seems to be 'mumbo jumbo', do you know of any good step by step guides on how to do this? cheers again Dazza
  24. Thats pretty much spot on but sometimes no matter what you do you still lose roughly a few gig. It is used for virtual memory and other things. There will be ways to use a whole driver and every little bit of space but its not always advisable. My 120gb shows as 111gb. Fair comment mate, I know that a new disk never shows up to what is shown but surely a 160gb disk shouldnt lose 32gb. I would accept a 10gb loss but anything more I think seems abit of a rip off!
  25. In BIOS, it comes up saying the new disk is 164gb. Soi the plot has thickened!
