  1. Hello All, Please find at the bottom of this thread your copy of the first programme of the year for the UK Open Championship, and Hot Rod Thunder 500. I promise I will not charge you £3 to view it Anyway, I hope that you will recognise it as a programme, as I have tried to make it look as much like a programme as possible. If you have any ways that we can imporve it, then please by all means give feedback, as I will look to do another 5/6 programmes for you during the season. All details were taken from the UK Dirt Website, so when you look at the bookings, it is possible that the place you registered at is not the pace where you live now. I would like to thank everyone that helped out (The Rfactor F1 Admin Team and Aub) and also Tosh and Walker for their pictures. Bookings are still be taken, so if the programme encourages you slightly to race, then get yourself booked in for what should be a absolute classic. Finally, I do hope you enjoy reading it. Cheers Johno UK_Dirt_RF1_UK_Open_Programme.pdf
  2. Hello Guys, Just a reminder that tomorrow's meeting start at 7:45PM, not 8pm. The reason for this is to give you time to practice other formulas that you may race later on in the evening, and in terms of UK Dirt, the Hot Rods have a pretty big meeting. I am currently adding the finishing touches to the programme, so please bear with me. I am out tonight, so it will be online in the early hours of the morning. Cheers Johno
  3. If drivers could book in for both days (UK Dirt site for Wednesday, here for Thursday) then Iwould be greatful as it will help me out no end when creating the programme, and thus help it look as authentic as possible. Cheers Johno

  12. Post below as required. There is a new skin pack out tonight that you will need in order to race. Also, if you wish to play your shale joker, then you need to PM Kev. Cheers Johno
  13. Good stuff again Walker
  14. Does this mean some outings are in the offing?
  15. My apologies. Your quite right in saying I did say Iwould reply on the Friday, and then totally forgot, plus deleted your PM with my my inbox being full - so apologies from me for that. I think it is a difficult one. If you look at the way people race,at this track in particular, the back end steps out. Whenever the back end steps out, and form of contact is always going to send you into a spin. Thus in turn, running slightly wide also makes things worse. Perhaps I am the only one, but sometimes if I dont put a bit of right hand down out of the corner, then the person turning left gains the position back and loses me a lot of time. Dont get me wrong, I dont right hand turn anyone into the wall as in a deliberate right turn, but I do put as little bit to stop someone left turning me onto a curb or a log in tonight's case. Back on topic though, you quite right, I don't try to spin anyone, but sometimes it happens. Ironmac was hard to pass at the end of the races tonight, due to his tyres coming off and the back end stepping out (sorry to use you Ironmac, but we came together in the final). Itried to give him a little budge to get up the inside, and unfortunately he sapn, so it does happen. The difference is, and I think this is the point that Allstar is mainly trying to make, is that when Ididnt it, at the ne dof the race, I immediately said sorry. I never meant to do it, and never wanted Ironmac to spin, but I still said sorry, and at the end of the day, everyone makes mistakes, its just whether or not you are decent enough to admit to them and apologise. Anyway, I didnt think that tonight was too bad. Ijust got knocked around from pillow to post in the final, was not quick enough in the Heats, and got a nice break in the Grand National, so I think a bit of a mixed night for me personally. Anyway, hope to see you all next week, as its the last meeting from these current grades (although grading period does end tonight), and also it is the first visit to the 2009 World Championship Venue, and no matter how good you set up is, nothing substitutes good practice like a meeting does. Add to that world championship qualifying points, as well as National Series Points, and the meeting is set to be an epic!! Cheers Johno P.S - Look out for the April Newsletter over the coming week or so.
  16. Of course you can Kev
  17. Very fair post Kruiz. Just to say, I have recieved complaints, and they will be dealt with accordingly. Personally, I didnt suffer at the hand of OTT hitting, but more the trouble of when you get up the inside of someone, they still keep turning left. Here isnt a track where you can get away with that, so up the curb I went and round I went in some cases. I think the key word here is respect. I apporeciate it is hard, especially on sight. I am not sure but I may have chopped some coming out of the corners, but I think anyone knows if someone is up their inside into the corner. With the tyres, if someone left turns you, then you in trouble. Anyway, tonight appears to be abit of a negative, but lets hope next week sees everyone relax a little more. Next week has no National Series Points or World Qualifying Points, and as such is perhaps the perfect time for a novice, or a driver who struggles a little bit to have a meeting where there is not as much pressure. However, please be sure that just because there is little to play for, does not mean that driving standards wil be lower, and we can revert to racing Bangers. Anyway, the team will deal with the complaints, and then put the meeting to bed. Fingers crossed, things will return to normal in the coming meeting. Cheers Johno EDIT: Forgot to mention Spike, Big Ben sent me a PM about 7:30pm saying he couldnt race due to computer problems. With me getting in late, I didnt pic it up until after the Heat meeting.
  18. Kev would not have said anything, and I didnt see it mentioned in chat, so I am not sure how they found out. Unless you told someone and the traditional loop starts. With me being up the top half of the series, it's not fair for me to know when everyones joker is being played, and no one elses, hence the reason Kev deals with them and not me - its to try and make it fair on everyone. Cheers Johno
  19. Hello Lee, Just to clarify the above, the points only count towards the National Series, so dont worry, they will be double. The other thing is, the jokers are kept private until the end of the meeting, therefore it is possible that Spike still doesnt know. I did not know you were playing your joker until the Heat meeting. But dont worry - they will all count Cheers Johno
  20. Hello Guys, RFactor F1 will once again be racing at 8pm at what could well be the biggest meeting of the season to date at Ipswich. Not only are those all important World Championship Qualifying Pints up for grabs, but the National Series is now into its third round, and people are already looking at who currently holds them all important top 6 places. Leader of the World Championship Qualifying Points Kruiz is yet to book in, but the leader of the National Series TomD is booked in, fresh from his double final winning success of last week. Ipswich was last years World Championship venue, and whilst the race will not go down as a classic, the track can produce some superb racing with it long sweeping bends. So, get yourself booked in for the second tarmac event of the season. Cheers Johno
  21. Normally on Kev's website, but so far it has been down all weekend. I will try and catch him tomorrow night. Iwill try and make sure the server is on before Igo to bed every night - I am not sure why it is off tbh. Again - this is my fault really, so I need to sort this. Cheers Johno EDIT: It was on, but I have taken all the tracks off except Ipswich, so therefore when you go in, it is already set on Ipswich. I have also taken the shale cars off the server for this week.
  22. You out for a long time Matthew? Shame not too see you out on track.
  23. That's my responsibility so I apologise for that. I will try and make sure it is up on Thursday morning.
  24. Awesome pictures again Tosh. You really catch the action well and also its good to see everyone get a picture as well. Do you mind if Ipinch some of your pictures for the UK Dirt Website Tosh?
  25. Good stuff Walker - pleased to see someone giving Tosh a hand. If I wanted to pinch some pictures for the UK Dirt site, would you mind Walker?
