  1. Good feedback guys - more than fair and put in a constructive way Personally, I didnt mind the 2 meetings. But as I had to do the results and points, I obviously got a break. Having said that, I do find the shale racing more tiring than the tarmac racing. Looking at the racing, I thought it was good. I got some really good breaks in both meetings, but at the same time, I was a fraction out in others and it cost me good final places at both meetings. But I must have come a long way to be disappointed with 20 plus points at both meetings In terms of practicing, can I suggest you actually practice in the server? I know thats what I do once Istarted as I didnt know how to turn everything off . It's slightly different to Heat in that you can go into the server and practice on your own. If I remember, I will take the tracks off we are not racing at each week, and thus you can go in there and practice. Anyway, god to see some different racers last night, and I hope to see you all next week on the tarmac, where we will do battle for World Qalifying Points and National Series Points at Ipswich. Cheers Johno

  12. Hello Allstar, I am afraid its because we cant have 2 fixtures with the date on due to the fact that we run our fixtures through a database. However, we needed to let you all know the fixtures, so the next best thing was to have one of the dates effectively on the Friday, however, no meetings will take place on the Friday. I have a fixture poster which will be out tomorrow night, and I will try and get that on the website, although I am not sure it is possible. I do have a way though but need to confirm with LeeK. Anyway, next week, Sheffield is at 8pm and Belle Vue at 9:30pm - on the Thursday. I hope that tries to explain it, and doesnt come across as total gobbledeeguge!! Cheers Johno
  13. Some superb action shots Tosh One thing I will say is there really is some cracking skins out there. Well done to all the drivers that have been doing skins. Cheers Johno

  16. Hello Guys, First of all, thanks to everyone that raced tonight. As expected, the racing was fast and furious, and as is tradtionally the case, the lower graders seemed to dominate the biggest part of the evening. We ran 3 heats, of which two of them were won by yellow grade drivers: JK (16) and Dode (151), with the other being won by blue grade driver TomD (112). With 24 cars racing, we decided to try all in, despite my admin team telling me I was stupid for even thinking it I the end, it was what I expected, chaotic in the early laps, and then things settled down nicely. In the end, the winner came from the blue grade, and this was Lee (531). Next week, we will obey the maximum car limit, especially when it comes to racing at Belle Vue as that is small and tight Finally, there were 2 grand national to round off the night, and these were won by TomD (112) and Marten (291) Results: Heat 1: 16 137 188 291 488 36 136 315 300 151 Heat 2: 151 16 137 36 290 291 363 3 136 112 Heat 3: 112 531 363 290 3 8 188 365 288 599 A-Final: 531 36 151 291 363 137 16 3 290 488 GN 1: 112 290 137 488 527 8 16 599 288 106 GN 2: 291 3 36 136 531 151 315 300 365 48 Points: 39 pts 531 Lee 37 pts 36 BigBen 36 pts 291 Marten 34 pts 137 MoR 33 pts 151 dode 30 pts 16 JK 25 pts 290 Dazza 23 pts 3 Johno 22 pts 363 razza 21 pts 112 Tom D 16 pts 488 dave 11 pts 136 Kruiz 9 pts 8 tosh874 8 pts 188 Aub 7 pts 527 fast track 6 pts 315 Mike 5 pts 599 Harold 5 pts 300 Mattyaspin 4 pts 365 travel 4 pts 288 Ironmac 2 pts 48 Tinman 2 pts 106 Albz 0 pts 221 Spike 0 pts 11 chevy Next week is the first of our Rfactor F1 Double Headers - 2 meetings in 1 action packed night. 17. Hello Guys, Welcome to the first meeting of the new Rfactor F1 Season here at Buxton. Tonight meeting sees a total of 25 cars. This means that we will need to run a consolation tonight, as 25 is a bit too many around the tight Buxton Raceway. The limit for Buxton is set at 22 due to the nature of the track, therefore we will take the top 14 points scorers from the Heats and then run a consolation and a final. HEAT GRIDS Heat 1: 36, 48, 221, 527, 16, 106, 151, 365, 300, 315, 488, 531, 137, 188, 288, 291, 136, (Server 2) Heat 2: 36, 221, 599, 11, 16, 151, 363, 500, 112, 315, 488, 3, 8, 137, 291, 136, 290, (Server 2) Heat 3: 48, 527, 599, 11, 106, 363, 365, 500, 112, 300, 531, 3, 8, 188, 288, 290, (Server 2) Kev will steward all the races. THE FORMAT Heats 1,2,3 - Stay in the server *back to chat Consolation (top 8 qualify) *back to chat Final *back to chat GN 1 (Server 2) GN 2 (Server 3) - Kev will steward 1, and then go to the other. The meeting will need to finish by 9:30pm, but I hope that is not a problem. I know it is early, but if you do want to play your joker tonight, then you need to PM Kev before the meeting. However, if you use your joker now, then it is one less for the shootout meetings, should you qualify. Cheers Johno
  18. Bookings now closed - I up shortly
  19. Please boook in or cancel here. Bookings will close at 7pm. Cheers Johno
  20. Hello Ben, I have replied to your pm sir Just so people know, it alright to use a novice skin, and this year you can even select the correct grade for your novice skin!! Cheers Johno
  21. I can confirm you are yellow Trav for the first meeting, an then we wil adjust it from there (if required). One thing we have also noticed is that Dode is yellow for the meeting. I will correct this on the site tomorrow night. Cheers Johno
  22. Can I just say, because Dazza is being far too modest, that this is a fantastic preview. Sure I worte a bit of it, but majority of the work is Dazza's and he has been collecting and compiling all this information over many weeks now. It really is a top effort sir Johno
  23. Always good to hear Trav, you know you are more than welcome I will get the Admin Team to confirm, but our policy last year was to have people who have raced Heat start from yellow, and then we will change the grade accordingly at the end of the meeting. So no deliberate sandbagging Seriously, I will confirm late tomorrow nigth for you. Cheers Johno EDIT: Bookings up to 21 now Keep them coming - ne nice to get close to the 30 barrier, and even beat last years top attendance early in the season.
  24. FIXTURE LIST CHANGES After discussions with the Admin Team at Simstox F2, it has been decided that we will be changing to fixtures to make sure that no championship meetings or double headers clash. Therefore, the following UK Dirt meetings have been changed: BIRMINGHAM Was: 24th June 2009 Now: 18th June 2009 IPSWICH Was: 2nd September Now: 26th August Simstox have agreed to swap their F2 European Championship meeting, as we run our European Double Header that week – we would like to thank them for their cooperation with this issue. Also, in order to make sure that you are not having to choose between UK Dirt F1 or Simstox F2 on the 6 weeks that UK Dirt F1’s run Wednesday night meetings, the following start times have been agreed: UK Dirt: 8pm (meeting to be run in server) Simstox: 9pm (their usual start time is 8:30pm) We hope that this is to your pleasing. I know that a lot of you have asked for the two leagues to work more closely together, and UK Dirt F1 and Simstox have always had good relationships with each other, discussing many different issues, and this goes to show just how good the relationship between the two leagues is. Finally, I will attach an up to date fixture poster this evening. The UK Dirt website will be changed to reflect the above changes in the coming weeks. Cheers Johno
  25. 16 cars are booked in so far, which with 5 days still to go, is a good start. Don't forget, tonight is the deadline for skins, although with the forum downtime, this is going to be increased by one day. Thanks very much Mike.
