Johno #3 Booking in.
-
Hello Guys, This week sees the conclusion of the winter series, with a double header at Northampton. This meeting also sees F1's support the National Hot Rods and their British Drivers Championship. Wednesday bookings are being taken on the website now. If you would like to book in for Thursday, then please do so on this thread. The format for Wednesday is yet to be decided, but I would imagine it will be minimum of 2 heats final and Grand National. On Thursday, the normal Winter Series format will be used, with the Winter Series Shootout being the final race of the night. This means that on Thursday night, we will crown a Winter Series Points Champion, and a Winter Series Shootout Champion. We are guranteed a new points champion, as defending champion Drumbstick has not raced in the Winter Series, but there is a chance that should he race the meeting on Thursday, he would be in the Shootout grid, and thus perhaps defend his title. The grid for the shootout will depend on the points at the end of the meeting on Thursday. So get yourselves booked in for what should be a classic double header of F1 / Hot Rod racing!! ALSO...... Look out for full season details being released on Sunday Evening. Cheers Johno

Hello Guys, Sorry for the very brief write up but I really have a stack of work left to do. Congratulations to Lee for winning the final, and to Tosh for being the top points scorer. I will be back at the weekend with my thoughts, but it would be nice to get some thoghts from new drivers, and also what you thought of the new grade positions (the ones I implemented for the final and grand national) Results: Heat 1: 112 321 8 136 106 64 488 137 216 46 Heat 2: 216 3 8 363 288 531 112 151 527 500 Heat 3: 151 363 64 8 137 216 315 321 16 46 Heat 4: 321 531 3 151 488 112 137 363 288 315 A-Final: 531 8 488 3 321 137 527 363 112 288 GN 1: 151 112 321 363 315 8 137 3 531 46 Points: 43 pts 8 tosh874 41 pts 531 Lee 39 pts 321 Grant 33 pts 3 Johno 29 pts 112 Tom D 29 pts 363 razza 26 pts 151 dode 24 pts 488 dave 24 pts 137 MoR 12 pts 216 Speedtech 11 pts 527 fast track 10 pts 315 Sybe 9 pts 288 Ironmac 9 pts 64 Kcooter 5 pts 136 Kruiz 4 pts 106 Albz 4 pts 46 Nezza 1 pts 500 Allstar 1 pts 16 JK 0 pts 221 Spike Cheers for racing - more information on the finale to come nearer to the time. Hello Guys, Welcome to the 5th round of the winter series which is due to take place at Cowdenbeath. Once again, this is the first time that UK Dirt has used this track, and to say it is tight would be an understatement. Heat will have 18 cars in them, and we will try an all in final (this is more a test for next year). If the final does not work, then we will spilt into 2 smaller grand nationals. Here are the groups for tonight (Please remember incase we race from the server) GROUP A 16 JK (w) 46 Nezza (w) 216 speedtech (y) - promoted based on previous winter series performance 500 Allstar (y) 8 Tosh ® 136 Kruiz (s/s) GROUP B 64 KCooter (w) 321 grant (w) 106 Albz (y) 315 Sybe (b) 137 MoR ® GROUP C 221 Spike (w) 48 Tinman (w) 488 dave (y) 112 Tom D (b) 3 Johno ® 413 Matthew ® GROUP D 527 fast track (w) 151 Dode (w) 363 razza (y) 531 Lee (b) 288 Ironmac ® 290 Dazza (s/s) HEATS: Heat 1: Groups A, B and C Heat 2: Groups B, C and D Heat 3: Groups A, C and D Heat 4: Groups A, B and D Anyway, enjoy this evening, and remember, there is no F1 for 2 weeks, but the series will finish with a Winter double header!! Cheers Johno Amended due to JK's intellectual spot - Johno gets a C+ - Must try harder.

Book here until 7:30pm. Cheers Johno

Hello Guys, Just a polite reminder to tell you that Cowdenbeath is this Wednesday and not Thursday. Had a few in practice the other day, and they were doing superb, so the meeting should be very good. Incase you dont have the track, the track is available by; >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>CLICKING HERE<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Last night it was noted that one or two drivers came into the server with the incorrect track. This is version 1.1, and if you have a different version, or are not sure, then I suggest you delete the track (c: > rfactor > gamedata > locations > cowdenbeath) and install using the link below. There is no patch for the F1 version of the track - the problem was with the Hot Rod version, so therefore if you do have the track from Simstox, then the chances are it is the correct one. Best thing to do is to nip into the server before the meeting and check. Cheers Johno

Dazza had inform the admin team that he had something like this in the pipeline, but I think that really is fantastic. Top stuff Dazza, and superbly prepared and reported. Some superb action picture shots as well. Thanks very much to HUtch s well, for taking the time to do the interview. I do hope he is around to try and defend the gold and silver, as I think this could well be a cracking season!! Well done once again to HUtch, and superb job Dazza!! Cheers Johno

Points up to date. Man to watch out for is Dave, as with consistant results, he has put himself right in contention!!!

Hello Guys, I wonder if a few people got mixed up with the days - perhaps this is my fault and I should of put a reminder up sooner (I had forgot in all honesty - remembered when I got home from work). Dont forget, next week is Cowdenbeath, and it is on a Wednesday, not Thursday. Thanks to everyone that raced tonight. I didnt think the racing was too bad at all, and I cant say I found the backmarkers a problem either, but by the sounds o it I was in the minority. Please try to remember that this is a winter series, and people will be trying new things ahead of the new season, and people are still learning. This game is not easy, and I admire them white top drivers that give it ago and try their best - keep at it guys - it will come!! Anyway, well done to Sybe for taking the meeting final and being the top points scorer on the night. Sorry it isnt any longer than that - back with more thoughts tomorrow, but I have R.E to plan!!! Hello Guys, Dont forget there is an rfactor meeting tonight which takes place at Buxton. Start time is 8:30pm, and currently we have 14 drivers bookedin, so it will be all in. Looking at who is racing and who is not, I would probably expect a few more to book in before the end of the night. Can you post late bookings on here please too. Cheers Johno
