I dont understand all this default winner rubbish..... the bottom line is the guy that crossed the line first cheated and thus raced against the rules. The first guy that came across the line with a fully legal car was Ian Thompson Junior, and thus, he is the World Champion. I also think that it is a total joke that 4 months later is the right time to decide to give up the World Title. As he is family, there is no doubt that he would have known the ins and outs from the start (as some people claim that there is more to know), but to wait 4 months to decide to vacate it is a joke. Aomeone on another forum I read said that BriSCA F2 shouls ban him. Well I think that if I was rnning the show, I quite possibily would, because to perade around with the trophy and the roof, and then just turn round and say I dont want it is a utter joke. If he really is going back to Hot Rods, then lets hope he never returns to F2 again. A total and utter disgrace he is. Johno

Hello Guys, Well first of all, that meeting wasnt too bad I didnt think. I do think the heats were slightly better when there were a few less cars, but I dont think the Final or Grand Nationl was too bad at all. It was always going ot be an action packed circuit. Anyway, onto the meeting, and the heat produced two wins for JK (16) and one each for Lee (531) and Aub (188). I must say, the final was chaotic, especially in the early laps - I didnt know if I was coming or going. BUt when all was said and done, Tosh drove a superb race to take his second final of the Winter Series. So far it has been a superb series for the Scottish lad, and this will no doubt stand him in good stead for the upcoming season. Grand National was the final race of the night, and it produced a win for white top Mav (525) who has been consistantly in the results all night. Ohter mentions must go to Hutch (331) for top scoting over the evening, as well as Allstar and Dave for consistant results from yellow, and Dode for making a nice debut from white and picking up some good points. Hello Guys, First of all, a very happy new year to you all. I can't think of a better way to spend my New Years Day evening then with an rfactor meeting. The NEC should produce some superb racing, but please remmeber to be respectful to all the drivers. It will only produce good racing, if you respect the track and the drivers around you. Dont forget this is round 3 of the winter series, and I am a little behind with the points, but wil sort that out after tonights meeting. Anyway, here are the groups for tonight: GROUP A 151 Dode (w) 74 Walker (Y) 18 Marky (b) 8 Tosh ® 290 Dazza (s/s) GROUP B 221 Spike (w) 488 Dave (Y) 112 Tom D (b) 137 MoR ® 331 Hutch (s/s) GROUP C 525 Maverick (w) 507 Neil (w) 500 Allstar (Y) 531 Lee (b) 188 ® GROUP D 527 Fasttrack (w) 16 JK (Y) 3 Johno ® 288 Ironmac ® HEAT 1: Groups A, B, C HEAT 2: Groups A, B, D HEAT 3: Groups A, C, D HEAT 4: Groups B, C, D FINAL: All in GN: All in See you all in chat shortly. All added - still open until 8pm
-
Added JK - good to see you out racing again!!
-
Ta Walker. Anyone wanting a late booking can do so by posting here until 8pm. As it stands right now, with the shape of the track, I will probably go for 4 heats, with each driver racing in 3 of them. Give everyone chance to settle into the meeting first, before an all in final and Grand National.

Hello Guys, Dont forget, tonight is the 3rd round of the winter series, and it takes place in the indoor arena of the NEC Birmingham. The track is very tight and tricky, and could produce some fantastic racing, so if you are fed up with xmas and the New Year, get yourself booked in for what could be a classic meeting on a track that is a little different. Cheers Johno

Congratulations Bathy

I have made an error and clicked a folder too far. I just need to complete the job I was doing, and then I will redo it again, and tell you what you need to delete. The track will still work as you have it now - it just doesnt leave u a neat and tidy folder and makes it difficult should the track be updated. Cheers Johno EDIT: If you want you folders to be neat, then do the following: Go to: C:\Program Files\rFactor\GameData\Locations Delete the Following Folders: NECbirm NECbirmHR Delete the following files: NECbirm.mas NECbirm.tdf NECbirmF1.mas NECbirmHR.mas NECbirmmap.mas Thumbs Then you will reinstall the track using the new link above. CAN I JUST REITERATE - THE TRACK WILL STILL WORK WITH THE OLD LINK IF YOU DONT WANT TO MESS AROUND. I am sorry for any inconvenience caused. Cheers Johno

Hello All, I am pleased to announce that the NEC is now available for download. >>>>>>>>>>CLICK HERE<<<<<<<<<< UK Dirt would like to thank MADCOWIE for the superb track, and putting in an awful lot of effort into another superb track. I dont know how you do them so quick, or where you find your energy from, but they certainly are superb. This means that the meeting scheduled for NEW YEARS DAY will take place, START TIME 8:30pm. In order to take part in this event, you will need to book in on the UK Dirt websit, in the normal way. Thanks very much to Mav for setting this up. So, once again, thanks very much to Madcowie for the superb track, and I look forward o the racing on Thursday night. Cheers Johno

That is superb sir - really well done for putting that together. I know you have spent many hours doing that, and the photos bring the awards to life nicely. Speaking as Head Admin, I couldnt have asked for 2 better people doing the F1 awards this year, so thanks to you Kruiz and Sybe. 2009..... Admin wise.... very excited. Got some new ideas for the new season so hopefully add so spice to the season. Even got some extra people on board in terms of sponsorship next year as well, with maybe more to come (thats for both leagues). More Rfactor information will be available in January. Race wise..... It really was a good season for me last year. As someone quite rightly pointed out, I went from spinning, to winning races, and finished the season by getting promoted to red. Going to be really hard year next year, but fingers crossed I am up to the challenge. Looking at next season, I thik Hutch has summed it up nicely. Many drivers are now on the pace like HUtch said, add to that MoR if he can get time off work, Drumbstick if his health can continue improving, and no doubt someone else will step up to he plate, and Hutch really has got his work cut out next season. Anyway, thanks again Kruiz for a superb job on the awards, and roll on 2009. Things are set to get even better!!! Cheers Johno

Hello Guys, Thanks to everyone that raced tonight. I thought that the racing was superb. Congratulations to Gary on taking the Grand Final win. We will have to monitor his performance throughout the winter series I think. Gary also took one of the heats, along with Speedtech. Will done to both of them. Tos was the other winner on the night, taig Heat and GN. I think he may have been cheating tonight as he appeared to have God on his side as Hutch and myself got hooked up in a couple of races and he managed to escpae!! Madcowie as created this superb indoor arena, and it will be available shortly. All that is left for me to do is to thank you for racing tonight, and for me to wish you a merry christmas and a happy new year from all of the F1 Admin Team. Cheers Johno

Hello guys, Please use this thread to book in for Thursday's meeting. I was pleased to hear that most of the racing last Thursday was really good, however 1 incident is currently being looked into by the disciplinary team. Thursday meeting is the only shale meeting scheduled for the Winter series, and is at the superb Owlerton Stadium Sheffield. We held a meeting there at the end of the year that was very good, and I expect the same to happen again. So anyway, get yourself booked in. Cheers Johno
