Imagine being in a real race then!

Great words to hear cheers, makes it worth the hours spent on it! hope it promotes the game and BriSCA well. Just wish I could get it all uploaded now! If its not one problem its another.
-
gonna upload that video again now, LiveVideo hasn't encoded it properly. Be about 3pm before its up

What were you doing, peddling round! Shame about the non-contact thing but I guess it's a lot safer that way! I have got a voucher still to be used so may have a wander down Northampton soon. Cheers for the review. I think Incarace do Saloons at Brum now too

Hello racers, Welcome to the video highlights of the Grand Final from Round 2 of the rFactor Autumn Series. Sorry for the delay this week due to technical issues when I started on Monday. Also there is a mistake in Sunday's date on the titles which will be corrected tonight. But, as promised, I have spent more time on this and hopefully it shows, this is my longest production at an exactly as planned 7 minutes long, so enjoy, and I hope it doesn't bore you. sorry to anyone's action I have missed, its an impossible task to include everything when you have internet limits. On a good note, I have figured the camera angles out like I did in my Heat vids Good News!! TGG has offered video hosting so there will also be a high quality version available of all my rFactor videos for all members to his site. I will let TGG inform you of this later on. Round 2 - Grand Final Video Highlights Cheers, Chris

Thanks Paul, checked the 1st lap of race and all seems well and fine! Must have been on limit of the number of cars for a lot of people's connections last night. Many replay's had warp when you studied them. I can now continue with the editing You will just have to wait a night or two longer lol
-
Due to warp (on EVERYONE's replay files) I am close to abandoning this weeks video I have spent 3 hours trying to acheive something. The intro is great, but the racing shots are crap. I think there were too many cars on track in the Final as proves on all the replays I have seen. As Dan has said, you can see that rFactor gives bandwidth preference to the cars in closest proximatry to your car, but at the other end of the track the cars are actually warping (just you dont notice) All I can do is ask a few of the drivers that finished in say the top 5 to post their replay's and I'll make the most out of what I can and unfortunatly based around the action around their cars. OR! anyone who views their replay with NO warp (when viewing cars at the opposite side of the track to theirs) please send me their replay.

oh god do they! I missed that one I will definatly be changing then, who's best for gaming, cheap n cheerful ISP now then? I dont like dealing through BT or Tiscali from past experience. Trouble is they're the two big ISP's
-
lol im sure that wont be hard i went round a few times last nite even better one of me stuck in the fence [attachmentid=20194] Spot the Aub was that? in the Final where he finished 4th Bloomin lap scorers!
-
Well why dont you have a go I dont think you would get much money for the photo's but if they were nicely presented, I'm sure people would buy them off you I mean you can buy signed photos of F1 drivers (who are much less accessible) for not a lot of cash, and anyone can get a signed pic of a stockcar driver.

when I first joined Pipex they were great, best value and brilliant customer service and fast. Since they appear to have got bigger, more popular, and more commercialised, everything has gone downhill. You can definatly tell certain programs have controlled bandwidth and like you say, the last month I have had noticeable warp in heat and problems getting on to jolt, 3 or 4 times in both rFactor and Heat. Yet browsing and d/l from internet and speed tests all show that the connection is spot on. It is doing the same thing on two broadband connections I pay for from either end of my town. I have never phoned them over this issue but after last night, I think I better had.
-
yes i have wondered, something's seem real slow downloading/uploading for no reason, whereas other things are fast as hell. They used to be great till that hasselhoff started working for them!
-
Deleted just the cch and F1 stockcars folder, re-installed everything and no more mismatch on the server. I think the lap scoring was a problem with my transponder..it probably fell out in the pits
-
yes but still got the mismatch...however it reset the chosen car in game..BUT did not reset cars which i 'owned' is this what happened to you?
-
you havent said where the money will come from

Since updating to v1255f I have had problems My 1st heat, would not let me in the server. My 2nd heat, didn't lap score me My 3rd heat all was fine. Final , practised and started ok, then lap scored me until 5 laps to go then stopped registering my laps. GN sat on grid ready to go, then grid disappeared and I lost connection 30 secs later. I have no warp that I can see, but assume this is all a connection problem. Also got the "anyone not ready" & "roll at 30, about 10 laps" into the Final! I have updated to version 0.2 but had a server mismatch. Shall I just delete rfactor and start again
-
Ok I have updated. I do not actually think it uses one of your activations anyway, it is a 'Free' Activation.
-
I am not sure if I am down to my last activation (or used it already), I dont want to risk installing in case I am then stuck for tonight's meeting. Can we still use the v1250 tonight without conflict? And do we download the full update or the .exe only...what's the difference?
-
Brilliant track I felt cold and wet just playing on it! Who needs "real rain" in rFactor when you can add it to the tracks like that anyway! Is there a spced grading system on it. Cars seem to line up in groups.

Nice tutorial for the newcomers Just how I am driving Birmingham. I would rather a tutorial based on shale though
-
They say things have been sorted so I think we should try it. I guess it would be a good idea to download it ready...but NOT YET to install it and await official say so from Dan & MoR
-
Yes it does!! 1st time I can remember he has had "just" a red roof since 1995-ish Here's a quick deskie for any Smith fans out there [attachmentid=20147]
