A cracking meeting, plenty of atmosphere, and fantastic racing. A night to remember. Even more Dutch this year (well it was probably easier for them to get there than half of from the UK) Two absoulute belting races with the Mini's and the F1 made the travelling and entrance fee worth every penny. Only downside was the long long long wait for the track grading, but apart from that I thought Trackstar did a great job. Like the way the seating was upgraded for 2 quid inside if ya wanted it. At Coventry they made me pay £25 for a 3yr old in grandstand last year!!

A complete motorsport legend. I grew up being a fan of his dad followed by Colin. I have many of his books and videos and probably the reason I bought a Subaru years ago. He had one of these out-of-this-world skills and I'm sure he could have won on anything with 2 or 4 wheels. A great bloke too. Most people's two favourite Rally driver's have left us so early within two years with Richard Burn's as well The ironic coincedence of Dave Richard's (Subaru Prodrive boss) flying home from Spa early because of Colin's accident and also havng a crash in his helicopter with his wife onboard. Luckily they were ok.

well done! if this type of thing carries on there'll be no regular members left in a few months, no good model makers, and only the crap copy/paste skin painters and no wonder the swearing is on the increase!

Sounds like it'll be a good day for ya. Bit of an early start though. Hope its sucessful and you do well

Yeah was great video Like Pete says though, they dont compare to the loon's in the late 80's were the absolute nutz! The Scots, Midlands, and South (as I knew em all) was like World War III evertime they all met! Ipswich, Wisbech, Hednesford, and Buxton had some epic meetings! Wish they could get just 5% of the action there was then back into today's racing. I'd actually go and pay to watch em again then.

Amashing skin. Very good

You could of course get your own 3ds files. If you can render you have the resources to get the file for any car.

1st class. The blokes a nutter! He wouldnt have many friends on the track driving like that!! I'd love to see someone like that mixing it with thebig boys week in week out over here. Spectator attendences would definatley increase and TV would become interested! Look forward to seeing him next meeting. I missed Belle Vue

"i before e, except after c" Its looking good. You need to try it in the game really and take a screenshot. I think the numbers down the rear quarter could do with making bigger or joining up, just to make them match the rest of the nice graphics you've done

instantly recognisable even in that color. Well done

...and then your back end would spin round

They're cool I did a few of those from scratch a few years back but just the profile/from the side. I did a hot rod, ford granada banger, a legend car, and a f1 and f2 stockcar. Shame I haven't still got them. the holden saloon is my favourite lol. Can ya do a f1 stockcar?

once upon a time....we were all amazed at what heat could do. it seemed to have everything. miles better than SOD in my opinion, (mainly of course because it was much newer) and to have the added damage is such a bonus (how many of the hundreds of mods really even need damage apart from bangers) alas times move on (lol i sound like me old grandad) and people are after more. Unfortunatly there's nothing out there at the moment. I dont beleive the current rFactor will be much of an improvement (not such good damage and collision detection) and the only other game with good characteristics is Flatout3 I think the Bangers will likely split from all the other mods, to a game which gives less bias toward driving sim/physics and move toward a game with good collision detection and mega damage. Another game called Driven to Destruction seemed ok, but wasn't quite all there in my opinion.

A good question thread Steve for those that dont know about rFactor. Make it 'STICKY' please. Those two links above should give you everything you need for starters. You can try the game (without any addons) before you buy. It costs £24.99GBP then you can add any other features and tracks freely for the grand sum of £0.00! You can get the game as a download (easiest) or buy CD for 39.99EUR It is a natural progression that it will replace Heat in time (maybe a year when more tracks and cars are released) HotRods and F2's will follow. Bangers may be further off, I think the damage and collision detection will cause much more complications, but hopefully they will come with time. The realistic handling/physics, graphics, 'modability' and user interface is brilliant. Similar to Heat...but with much more. Heat's graphics look almost dated in comparison. Grab the Free download and give it a try.

Looked like a hectic meeting. Makes me laugh how evry1 is wrapped up in middle of summer. A great win for Webster ...just a shame he's banned now lol Burgoyne seems to be having bad smashes every meeting now! And the Metro lokks a little out of shape!!
-
yeah the car 47 driver looked great going round the outside. Nice to see tracks around where they can still do that these days. Those Midgets looked fast too! How old do you have to be to drive those?
-
Yes true, it will still work if you don't register after 30 days
-
Thanks for that. Ace Track & Ace Cars Great track for the Legends and the V8 X-Modifieds sound thunderous! It looks a great atmospheric track at night, I used to love spectating at tracks when the lighting was slightly 'underpowered' ...not so good for filming at though lol
