Not a Forum request but was my idea for promoting the site a little. RE: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page Has anyone used the site above, it's terrific & informative. If you type in brisca for example, a few bits of detail comes up. I spent hours creating two professional, informative articles, as would be written in a dictionary or encyclopedia. One was about Brisca Heat, one was about UK Dirt league, and commented on the history of the league, etc. in a non-biased type of way. I wrote them bith myself from scratch, made by own screenshots and some renders, gave to credits to the original creators, etc. and thought it was a worthy inclusion. Within about 30 minutes a bloody guy deleted them both saying I should try writing in my own words next time, and my pictures were copyrighted and not my own. ...and.. "The content was also dubious" I see many other mainstream games written on there, so don't know what the problem was. I have now totally lost all my hard work. Anyone else tried it??

Australian motor racing great Peter Brock has been killed in an accident in the Targa Rally in Western Australia. The 61-year-old died when his car crashed into a tree during the race. His co-driver was taken to hospital in a stable condition. I have watched Peter since I can remember, and have a few videos and DVD's of him. He's been racing since the 60's, and was an amazing driver and character, and certainly my favourite Aussie driver. I used to love the late 80's, early 90's when the Brits would go over for Bathurst, and chuck a few RS500's around the circuit, but Peter always seemed to be on top. Sincere sympathy to Peter's family and closest friends.

Right, 1st skin I painted properly for a year or so, but I may start doing a few more real life F1 drivers. First up is #91 Tony Smith's excellent car, I am also doing his tarmac spec one. Thanks again to Mark for the render [attachmentid=9056] [attachmentid=9057] number 91 name Tony Smith chassis briscans rank 3 race_image 100 body_style ccar car91.zip

The level of detail can vary on certain cars, depending on what settings were chosen when packing the different components of the car into the game. Apart from that, its just your graphics settings, or what's in your ui file.

Good plug Kev you not getting many hits or somethin! Great website

Brill! Needs some more contrast in the signwriting, lower body darkening a touch and the "thomson directory" moving back a touch

It's a great classic to have as your 1st car. (especially with that mileage!) Better than a Nova/Corsa or a newish car anyway. Only trouble is, some stupid people will think it's "just an old banger" when they're parked next to you, and bang their doors on it, etc. so careful where you park it

You mean you used the picture I done, or the photo I posted? Hope Birmingham detail will be good. I got lots of pics of Birmingham track from the infield, etc. I thought someone was supossed to be taking photos...but they never took one of the big sign??!!

It is i agree but i aim to make every regular driver in F1. So Mal Brown is just another step there. Well done, keep them coming. Are you able to upload the Dutch/Shale/Tar tex's and drivers list one day, that would be brilliant. I could try and sort that out when most cars are done but for now you can: 1) Copy and paste the bh2005 mod folder. 2) rename one tarmacf1 and one shalef1, and one dutch f1 if you wish to seperate them too. 3) copy and paste the bh2005 shortcut the amount of times that you have mods, (e.g 2 times for tarmac and shale or three shortcuts for all three mods. 4) Go into the properties of each shortcut and change the end of the 'target' from: '-mod:bh2005 -noautoplay' to '-mod:Tarmacf1 -noautoplay' and '-mod:Shalef1 -noautoplay' and '-mod:dutchf1 -noautoplay'. 5) Create a new folder in the Nascar Heat main folder and copy and paste a full list of drivers.txt in their just in case, so it is easy to get your hands on a full list of drivers. 6) Then within each of your mods you can change your drivers.txt to suit yourself for each mod. 7) Enjoy a more realistic bh2005 experience with your three new mods. Kruiz Cheers Kruiz...I know how to do it, just thought if you'd already done it, you could post it up when it's finished somewhere, maybe a BriSCA Heat 2006/7 version could be released...??!! Will be much easier to segregate the cars in-game with rfactor. Pick and choose...Shale only, or shale with tar, etc.

This place is always pretty competitive: Desktop PC's - Sorted by customer rating Just go through the list of PC's above, and get the best you can afford depending on your budget. PS, Don't pay any extra surcharge for speedy deliveries from that place and save some money, as it always comes next day or it doesnt, no matter what you do!

was watching ITV news hour at about 6am this morning when it was 1st announced. It seems so unlucky, the one time when he probably wasn't doing something, in theory, which was particularly dangerous. It just seems like another freak accident. Feel so sorry for his family, and what a great character on TV for the last 12 years or so. As for those idiots who complain about what he's done with his kids and for getting up close to animals, what the hell do they know. I'm sure Steve wouldn't do anything to put his kids or most animals in danger. The same people who complain are probably the same people that you see on You've Been Framed, letting there Alsation dog lick their babies faces! and saying aaaah. RIP Steve Irwin [attachmentid=8923][attachmentid=8924]

Very true. Just looked at the lap charts. Every lap he was making up at least 4 places, up until lap 7 when he was in 8th, and after that it was gaining one position virtually every lap. Fastest lap time was still Andy Smith though. [attachmentid=8916]

I think you mean 391, Andy is not taking the number 1 he is keeping his own number. Yep he is, just trying to wind the 515 fans up a bit I have got a 1mb vid of it, but I couldn't upload it yesterday.

I think 515's losing the plot and #1 will be the man to watch this year. Unbelievable drive from the back though!

[attachmentid=8885] Don't know if this is what you're after?? let me know any adjustments you'd like if it is. It wants a bit of tidying here and there anyway

Ace car! There's a mint original mk1 XR2 still goin round my town that my mate used to own about 12 years ago! I had a metallic purple/red/blue flip mk1 XR2 when I was 17. I used to get offers off people I didn't know, virtually every week, to buy it off me! Also had a mk2 xr2 and a Fiesta RSTurbo, before I grew up.

FWJ was using his bumper like it had gone out of fashion (stupid sayin that, but you know what I mean) on one bend he took out 6 other cars! awesome drive, but he couldn't gain much ground on Smith, who has been unstoppable and consistant in the 2nd half of this year, and it was his for the taking. If Lund had put the bumper in on lap 1, things may have been different though!! Well done to Stu Smith as well. Fantastic racing from the Big Boys and the Ministox were great tonight as well. It definatley seemed busier than previous years, and everyone seemed to turn up very early this year.
